Sweet Oceanside 3BR/2Bath 1400 square foot house with gorgeous Ocean & Sound views. Short 3 minute walk down a quiet street to easy beach access (wide path, easy-to find, no double dunes). The first level opens with a wide furnished south sundeck with 6 person jetted hot tub. The spacious great room features a cathedral ceiling with multiple skylights, comfortable resort style furniture, and HDTV entertainment system with WiFi internet access and YouTube TV package. The large open kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, flat-top oven, over-the-range microwave, dishwasher, full-size W/D, air fryer, plenty of counter space, a breakfast bar, and a pass through to the attached dining room that seats up to 8. Bedroom 1 has a King bed, and enjoys a semi-private bath. Upstairs bedroom 2 includes 2 twin beds, and shares a newly renovated bath with Queen bedroom 3. All bedrooms have streaming capable flat-screen TVs and ceiling fans. The second level features access to a furnished ocean-view sundeck. The ground level has 2 concrete driveways for extra parking, an outdoor shower, picnic area, charcoal grill and fish cleaning station with hose.

We stay on Hatteras Island once or twice every year. This house is the best stocked house of any we have stayed in. Every kitchen appliance, pots/pans, utensils, and tableware you could hope for. Nice outdoor furniture. Nice finishings on the interior. All TVs work and have YouTube TV already signed in. Lots of space in the living room. Large dining room. Easy access to the soundside or ocean. Walk to Dairy Queen if you want. The campground next door was surprisingly quiet, even though it was packed on Labor Day weekend. Would definitely stay in this house again.

Overall, we had a wonderdul stay despite the daily rain showers! House has a great inventory of pots, pans and dishes if you love to cook while staying at the beach like we do. House was clean and yard well kept and easy walk to the beach or to Route 12. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us again this year!! Appreciate your generosity and kindness!

The house was great and very well stocked with everything we needed. Great restaurants nearby and in Avon! Beach was only a 4 minute walk and not crowded at all. Hot tub was awesome for evening relaxing! The host gave us a ton of information for dining and things to do and was very communicative!

Fun in the sun

We all fully enjoyed our stay. Check-in was easy. The house was clean and provided basics, linens, set of towels for each guest. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. The beds were comfortable able and each bedroom had ceiling fans. The two decks were nice. Especially the top deck which provided view of ocean. It was a short walk to beach. The recommendations for places to eat and shop were very helpful. All said Seas the Day was a perfect place to stay.

This is the third year we have stayed in this home. We appreciated some of the "upgrades" such as new kitchen island cart, bath towels and a 50 gift card to Lisa's pizza! The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The a/c works great. The kitchen table is large enough for our family to eat together. The only thing we don't like is the open and wide railing on the staircase (especially going up/down the steps) and the sofa is a little grungy. We bring king size sheets to cover it, so that helps. We plan to return again next year!

Seas The Day and we did!

Amanda, Thank you for being so quick to respond as well as so informative in fun things to do and good places to eat during our stay at “Seas The Day.” Your property was absolutely perfect. We loved waking up and taking a short stroll down the street to access the beach. Your property was very inviting and so comfortable. My two daughters said the twin beds were more comfortable than their own, lol. There was so many supplies, including bath towels, washcloths, dishes, pots, pans, etc that we really appreciated being there. In all, a beautiful property, beautiful home, and beautiful area!

Great location on quiet street.

The location offers an easy walk to the beach, and a reasonable drive to the bigger grocery stores, and shopping. Amanda's pre-arrival emails were extremely helpful, and communication and response time were great! House was clean upon arrival, had a well-stocked kitchen, and a lot more room than the pics show. Just as advertised, loved it, highly recommend!

Wonderful

There was just about every gadget imaginable in the kitchen. We ate in for breakfast and lunch and wondered out for dinners. There were few choices for dinner, nearby Avon has a little more to offer for dining. Everything was clean & we left it hopefully as clean. Since sheets were provided it would make sense to go ahead and provide bath towels too. We overpack for trips. The family enjoyed corn hole & the hot tub. Love the laid back trip that it was.Oh, Res Beards Tiki Cruises a huge hit!

Great home between campgrounds

Very clean and comfortable home within easy walking distance to beach. Great to be able to bring our dogs along. The kitchen was well stocked. Just remember to bring towels including kitchen towels. We were visiting some friends at the campground and this was great option for the non campers. Would definitely recommend.

September vacation

We had a great stay at Seas the Day. We chose to come after Labor Day when it would be quieter and it really was. The house was very comfortable with a great location. It was a short walk to the beach which we loved. We love the outer banks and will definitely return. Thanks for having us!

Second stay!

Would come a 3rd time! Owner very responsive, house very clean, beds comfy, hot tub relaxing, short walk to the beach! Thanks for another fantastic OBX vacay! Would only recommend more than one garbage bag for a week’s stay!

July 2023 OBX Trip

The house is in a nice location, close to a beach access and KOA campground. The beds were comfortable and mattress pads were fairly clean. The outside space with the decks and hot tub were great. House is not baby / toddler proof (no outlet covers, a lot of breakable things low to the ground, stairs are dangerous) but they did have a handful of books and beach toys to play with. House is also advertised as pet friendly but they didn’t want pets on any of the furniture. It was also really dusty under the couches and we found old toys hidden underneath, it still seemed quite dirty when we arrived. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful family vacation spot in the OBX

Loved the proximity to the beach and the hot tub! Our family of five were very comfortable in the home. Amanda provided great communication and shared some great activities for our family to enjoy. We loved the location of the house since it allowed us to easily travel to all of the different towns along the OBX! The location is near REAL water sports and allowed our kids to enjoy surfing for the first time with a team of great coaches.

Great family trip

The house was lovely and in a great area with perfect amenities. It has a very dog friendly yard and a great outdoor shower. It was a nice place to gather with family that was staying in the area.

Our favorite OBX place!

This was our third time at Seas the Day and every time we visit it seems like it gets even better. We love everything the rental has to offer and it’s proximity to the beach. The beds are super comfy, the kitchen has everything you need, and it’s one of the cleanest dog friendly places I’ve found yet. Our kids are starting to feel like it’s our home away from home. The owner Amanda is super helpful and communicates promptly when needed and made us feel welcome to be here. Thanks Amanda!! We will be back!

Excellent Stay at Seas the Day

We had a great time during our stay in Seas the Day! This home is very nice and well maintained. The yard is bigger than most I’ve stayed and easy to walk on especially if you have your furry companion. Beach access is nice and just a short walk. Waterman’s restaurant is a must and if you enjoy a good cup of coffee check out Waves Coffee and Candies is fantastic! As always vacations are too short. Would have loved to stayed 2 weeks! Wax/Rubush Family

Fantastic time at OBX. We all had a great time! The weather was ideal. Short rides to most needed conveniences ie The Food Lion as well as entertainment/ restaurants in Nags Head. Waves is a quaint little town ideal for our families needs and wants for a vacation. Seas the Day was clean and proximity to the beach was perfect Definitely will come back to one of our most memorable vacations and looking forward to many more. You will not be disappointed!

Hi, my name is Amanda. My husband Orlando and I both welcome you to "Seas the Day" in beautiful Waves, NC. We both grew up in and around the Washington DC area. During those summers, we spent many idyllic vacations exploring and camping on the beaches of the Outer Banks. Today, we call Richmond VA home, but our hearts have never left the Outer Banks.

About 10 years ago, we acquired a pop-up camper and decided to take our maiden voyage to the Cape Hatteras KOA. We were blown away by the spectacular natural beauty of the beaches, lack of crowds, and the amazing fresh seafood available in the area. After several summers of making this our regular camping destination, we decided we loved the easy-going vibe of Hatteras Island, and bought "Seas the Day". We know you'll enjoy it as much as we do.
