The castle is on a busy road next door to a daycare, so lots of noise from that. At night people were walking by making odd noises which was scary. My kid got stung by a wasp when sitting on the couch near the fireplace
Such a cool property! We loved the regal and castle theme throughout the entire home. The communication was great. We'll definitely look to stay here again when in the area.

This place is unique! Definitely geared to those who want to immerse themselves in medieval play with closets and trunks full of costumes. I loved looking at all the furnishings and decor. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of meal prep accessories. The area is so beautiful. We drove into Port Angeles and I just loved the entire area, my first time in the Olympic peninsula. I highly recommend this trip. John Wayne has a marina in Sequim with a top notch restaurant there. Great trip all around!

Love the medieval vibe in the stay and it was very spacious for 9 guests!
Me and my siblings and friends enjoyed a long weekend out in the castle for my birthday. It was a blast. All the details were so cute, the backyard spacious enough for a feast for Kings. We popped over to Lake Crescent for the day and enjoyed the hot tub back at our weekend home.

The Lavender Castle has been fun, cute and qwerky. We decided to stay here because of the novelty of staying in a castle, and it fully lived up to that!
We did a murder mystery dinner here with friends and had a wonderful time. The property was great and tons of lights and chairs, plus it’s themed as it is so that helped a ton. Absolutely will be staying here again. The host was super nice and there was plenty of items to make it feel like home and be able to cook as needed. Thank you!
This is such a cool house! It can't be easy to furnish a completely round structure, but the owners did a beautiful job. Our kids couldn't wait to return from our daytime activities so they could play dress up and run around in the yard. We didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back.

Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re glad you enjoyed your short stay and loved the charming space, kitchen, dining table, and fireplace. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the Presto log too! We’d love to welcome you back for a longer visit anytime!
It's a unique house and so much fun. We had a great time. The hot tub was nice. There was a lot of decor that was in-theme. They had dress-ups of various sizes including big enough for our older daughters to try on.
Everything was top notch. Very clean, great kitchen area, super comfortable beds, and a very responsive host.
The grounds were lovely and kept up nicely. The property was close to shopping, parks and sights.
Really, for our small group of mixed ages, it was the perfect spot.
Thank you! We'll be back!
Love the location (10 min walk to the Lavender Festival), and the property itself is very charming and fun. Only two minor complaints: there's no A/C upstairs so it got pretty stuffy, and there are no curtains on the half-circle windows, meaning we got blasted by the sun at 6am in the summer.
However, we managed to work past those and would absolutely stay again!
Wow, this property is very cool. It’s an experience stay with castle/medieval theme, down to the wine glasses, curved wood table, wall hangings, and decor. It’s all very tasteful and unique. We had 3 adult couples and there was plenty of room. There are two bedrooms upstairs. The den downstairs makes another “bedroom” with a lay-down couch (double bed size) and use of the downstairs bathroom. The front yard is beautifully planted with lavender and the back yard has lots of space to hang out, a hot tub and a fire pit. We were only here due one night in the summer but had a wonderful time!

Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled you enjoyed the castle and medieval-themed details, from the curved wood table to the tasteful décor. It’s great to hear the space worked well for your group and that you enjoyed the lavender front yard, hot tub, and fire pit. We’re so glad you had a memorable stay, even if it was just for one night, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime!
We only had one night at the castle, but it was well worth it.
The most memorable aspect for the kids would probably be getting to use all the dress up clothes and pretending to be knights, princesses, and wizards.
The kitchen had all the equipment we needed to make dinner and breakfast. Location was great, minutes from a grocery store. Communication was quick and easy. Air conditioning in the TV room was very welcome.
With all my boys hitting 18 or older, it’s been harder to find something exciting and new to do for all their birthdays that fall within two weeks of each other. We have always loved visiting Sequim and the animal game farm. I was happily surprised to learn of this festive and unique castle that was full of all the fun amenities like costumes, decor, medieval type dishes, furniture, etc. It was really fun. My only regret is not staying longer.
I was excited to travel to this remote, quiet property as the description clearly states "no one living nearby and stroll through the lavender field". There was no field just a front year by a busy street with a daycare next door and other businesses surrounding the house. I did not feel comfortable having my children play outside being right on the busy road. Plus, no one got a good night's sleep because there was a smell of mold in the downstairs room where the children were supposed to sleep. We got up the next morning and left the property. I had to book a hotel room nearby and the owners never gave us a refund for the remainder of the stay. I had to reach out to my credit card company. I have never experienced anything like this and have rented several houses in my travels.

Megan was very hard to please. The house does not have people in houses around it which makes it a great place for parties or weddings. There is a preschool across the street that operates during the week. The other businesses are very quiet with no one hardly ever there. The yard is not fenced but it has a pretty private backyard The house is on a street- the front yard is lavender plants and is beautiful when it is in full bloom. The house is only a couple of blocks from downtown Sequim so no it is not isolated.
