This is a lovely and very comfortable home. It’s great for a family. The hot tub was hot and super clean. The kitchen was nicely stocked to make dinner at home. The beds and linens were great. We enjoyed our time!!

Halcyon House is a spacious welcoming home with nice large bedrooms and baths. The open floor plan upstairs made preparing meals and relaxing easy and comfortable. We enjoyed hiking nearby, driving to different spots to paddleboard and quiet walks in the neigborhood. When our kids can join us, I would like to stay again.

This house was very lovely and great for our family. Only issues were that they were pretty stingy with items, such as “bar soap in each bathroom” (quarter sized soap bar smaller than any hotel I’ve ever stayed), tissue paper toilet paper (I went and got decent TP), 2 rolls of paper towels, no cleaners (went and bought counter spray since I like to keep a clean kitchen), and many spots in the carpet from previous guests yet they said you had to call them if dog accidents for them to clean, so I assume these people didn’t clean them when they happened, which is not great for the next guests. The downstairs bathroom had mold on the shower curtain, so overall, these things are easy for the property owner to fix or easy for guests to pick up at the market down the street. The house is in a great location in Tahoma, with a great table for games and space for my family to all hang out in the same room. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we will most likely book again next time we are in Tahoma!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great for my wife and I and our tow young adult kids. Everything was great, but in the spirit of improving, the tv situation in the living room should be modernized and the shower pressure in the master bathroom could be improved. Other than that, lioved that they are dog -friendly, quiet neighborhood, hot tub, backed up to a ton of trails, etc

Weekend away

Tahoma is a great spot and the home is in a great neighborhood! Lovely home and comfortable beds. The kitchen was equipped with what we needed. BBQ was filthy and the cleaning tool was awful. The house keeping could do a better job cleaning… shower curtain has mold and lots of cobwebs. Extra pillows would be a plus! Overall we had a great time. We just expected a little more for the price.

First & Second times the charm!

We’ve stayed in this lovely home before and we’re happy to find it available again for this trip. It's always so clean and well-maintained. The bed is sumptuous and the kitchen is well-appointed with up-to-date appliances. The home is right next to Sugar Pine Point Park, which offers the best in hiking and snowshoeing, so we never have to get in the car for the best of both worlds. We had a minor issue with the fireplace and the property management representatives were so helpful and responsive. There are stairs, so someone mobility-challenged may have an issue, but considering the amount of snow we got during our stay, we were happy for the elevation! We’ll definitely be back!

Clean and comfortable stay!

This property was beautiful. Very cozy and spacious inside, large kitchen that was fully equipped to cook in. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. The entire place was clean and very comfortable to stay in. It was nice we could park in the garage for those cold mornings. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay

We loved our time at this beautiful home in Tahoma. The house was sparkling clean, well-appointed, and extremely comfortable. We loved sitting by the fire watching the snow fall. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything we needed to prepare several meals. We especially loved the quiet neighborhood for walking and exploring. The rental company was especially great to work with, too. Highly recommend this gorgeous home!

Great house and relaxing location

Cabin was perfect and had everything we needed Location is quiet and away from busy areas of Tahoe. Can easily get to Tahoe city or major ski resorts in less than 30 mins. Perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Will definitely try to book again soon!

This is a wonderful property. The house is in excellent condition, was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location is wonderful, close to everything but tucked away enough so that it was private and quiet. We liked it so much we've already rented it for next year.

Great location and house!!!

This house was in a great location for us and what we were looking for…easy to get out and explore with many great dining options close by and walkable. The house had a perfect amount of space for the adults and teen space downstairs Lots of space to gather and to cook dinner.

We didn't want to leave

We absolutely loved the house. It was better than expected. Everything about our stay was amazing. The location is awesome...so close to the forest and the lake. Your kitchen is spectacular. For all of us that love to cook, it was a pleasure to cook and dine at the counter. We all took advantage of the hot tub...especially after paddle boarding and hiking. Looking forward to doing this again soon. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.

Nice visit

All the bear warnings and wire's were a bit alarming, however we never encountered a bear. Nice house,, but smoke alarm went off several times, but finally stopped. Wish there was air conditioning however understand it’s hard to come by in Tahoe. A few maintenance issues, broken toilet holder, dresser drawers, but overall very nice.

The rooms and living area were very spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had a nice pantry to store our food, and had everything we needed for cooking.The jacuzzi and ping pong table were an added bonus!
