About the property

3 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms walking distance to the lake

Enjoy your Lake Tahoe vacation in the comfort of this large family home! Our chalet was completed in January of 2013.

The home is approximately 1,800 square feet and is situated in the quiet, family-friendly neighborhood of Tahoma on Lake Tahoe’s west shore. It is within walking distance to the private homeowners’ beach (available to renters), pier, market, casual dining, park for children, and Chamber’s Landing. Also close by are Sugar Pine Point State Park, Meeks Bay, and Emerald Bay, which offer access to trails and the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe. In the winter, there is easy access to Homewood, Squaw Valley, and Alpine Meadows ski resorts. The casinos and entertainment of the South Shore are a scenic and short drive away.

The downstairs level of the home includes a large gathering room with a flat screen TV and gas fireplace. The dining area can comfortably seat eight to ten people. The kitchen features granite counters and stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher. It is well equipped with pots, pans, dinnerware, silverware, cups, and appliances (toaster, coffee maker, etc.) necessary for entertaining.

The upstairs level consists of a master bedroom, two additional bedrooms, bathroom, laundry room, and loft. It is an ideal set up for two families. The master bedroom has a king size bed, full bathroom, flat screen TV, and access to the front deck. The first of the additional bedrooms also has a king size bed and access to the back deck. The second bedroom has two full beds, a bunk bed, and access to the back deck. It is great for children. The loft has a wet bar with wine fridge and coffee maker. You can sit outside on one of the decks in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee!

There is WIFI and hard wire Internet throughout the house. You are welcome to bring one dog with you for a small additional fee.

House was great we felt we in a home away from home.

  • 5 of 5

Property was really nice. Spent time inside and outside. Kitchen had all the pots, pans, roasters, and dishes you need. Was a great space for all of us with two living rooms. Walking distance to small HOA beach. Lots of trails to hike or bike.

Our dog had a spot on her blanket on the couch. She also felt comfortable there.

What an awesome place. Comfortable and clean. Quiet neighborhood and relaxing area outside. I would recommend this house to anyone! The kitchen was the best equipped of any I have seen. Thank you for our stay

One thing was bothersome. The fan was on the whole time and we could not get it to turn off. Quite noisy upstairs

❤️ It

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in many homes all around Lake Tahoe and this was one of the best. The home itself is in excellent condition and is well stocked. The second floor is perfect for kids because it has everything they need to stay entertained. There is even a second coffee machine if you want to have coffee and sit on one of the 2nd floor decks. The area is quiet and there is pizza and gelato just down the street. My family would definitely stay here again.
