The fully equipped gourmet kitchen makes cooking a pleasure, with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. Dine together around the spacious table or step out onto the deck for a BBQ surrounded by mountain air and tall pines.

A Home with Heart

As a child, I spent winters skiing and sledding in these mountains, and I fell in love with the crisp air and peaceful pine forests. Years later, my wife and I discovered Tahoe Donner while driving home from Reno — and instantly knew this was where we wanted to build family memories.

In 2004, we made that dream a reality and purchased this cabin we now call Baden’s Best. Over the years, we’ve poured our hearts into decorating and updating it to feel like home — adding the back deck and hot tub, upgrading furnishings, and creating a space where guests can relax, laugh, and make lasting memories.

We’re proud to share our mountain home with you and hope you enjoy it as much as our family has for the past two decades.

Designed for Comfort & Peace of Mind

Baden’s Best was created to be both welcoming and secure. For your comfort and safety, the property includes discreet exterior security cameras located at the front entrance and driveway area. These cameras monitor outdoor access points only and do not face any private or interior spaces, ensuring complete guest privacy while providing peace of mind during your stay.

Master Bedroom (Upstairs) – Queen bed with ensuite double-vanity bath, flat-screen TV, dresser, ceiling fan, and closet.
Guest Bedroom 1 (Upstairs) – Double bed with shared bath, nightstands, lamps, and ceiling fan.
Guest Bedroom 2 (Upstairs) – Double bed with shared bath, nightstands, lamps, and ceiling fan.
Guest Bedroom 3 / Game Room (Downstairs) – Bunk bed, trundle, and sofa bed with ensuite bath, coffee table, side table, big-screen TV, pool table, and Xbox setup.

Tahoe Donner Guest Access

Your stay includes two Tahoe Donner Amenity Passes, each allowing up to four guests (eight total). These passes provide access to:

Trout Creek Recreation Center (pools, spas, fitness center)

Tahoe Donner Beach Club Marina on Donner Lake

Northwoods Clubhouse and playground

Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort and Cross Country Center

A daily access fee (currently $15/person, subject to change) applies for entry to some amenities.
