Have you ever seen a Surfboard light fixture? Or driftwood chandellier? We made them. Beachy decorative touches make this bright and cheery apartment part of Folly.
What makes it the best is the location...It's right on the beach access, 150 feet to the beach, the closest place to the pier on Folly beach. It's also close to everything, restaurants and shops, yet quiet as no neighbors on either side. So going to the beach is not a project 2,3,4, or 5 block away. If you forget something, it's one minute back. It has it's own gated entrance.This is a really special apartment, everyone is just shocked and fall in love when they get up here. Everyone loves the breeze and panoramic view from the third floor deck. Private parking is provided, and additional parking is available for cars and boats (remotely) Walk one block to Folly's only grocery store and the other way one block to center street or the pier. This freshly renovated loft apartment has all new high-end appliances and furnishings. A 60" flat screen with a Roku. Furthermore, it has unlimited on demand high pressure tankless hot water. It sleeps 4 adults comfortably, but can sleep 6 adults if they don't mind the semi private loft bedrooms. Kids love the lofts. Update, we do have a washer and dryer installed now.

Incredible view

The view and location are amazing. Walk to every thing in Folly! AC ran cold at 68 every night and great deck with view of the pier and ocean. The porch hammock chairs are the best!!

Just what we needed

This property is the perfect spot for a one family with a couple kids. There is parking out front and a remote lot if needed. The beach access is easy and next to the pier and all the restaurants. This a second level and the renter below is nice. The property manager is very accessible. The space can become warm on hot summer days due to being top level with a lot of light, but it doesn’t matter because you’ll be relaxing on the porch swings and at the beach anyways...Enjoy.

Walking Distance to Everything

As others have written, you do not need a car once you arrive. Everything is in walking distance. Perfect location. Owner and property manager were available for any questions. My suggestions for improvement would be to add shades or blinds to front windows for privacy & to help keep out the heat. Could use an end table or coffee table in living space.

Scott, the host, was great! We had a last minute issue arise that could have drastically changed our stay and he was extremely patient, understanding, and accommodating. We have a family of six. The kiddos loved the lofts. The location is extremely convenient. We only moved the car twice to make some grocery runs. Otherwise, we were close to everything Folley had to offer. Lastly, the attendants of the lot we parked in were extremely helpful as well.

We lucked out on finding a week open at the penthouse! The kids LOVED the "treehouse beds"(lofted beds). Everything you need is within walking distance (berts for groceries, Rita's, chico feo, taco boy, and everything else on the main drag! Scott and his team are very attentive to any issues(if any) that come up. FANTASTIC view of the ocean/pier!

Everything about our stay exceeded our high expectations. Scott and will were responsive, accommodating, and very friendly. The property was beautiful, the view of the ocean from the deck was breath taking. The inside is charming and well kept, there’s wasn’t a speck of dust anywhere. The bed was extremely comfortable, which is a high praise coming from someone with frequent back pain. The location is unbeatable. Everything truly is within walking distance. We Uber’d from the airport to the property and didn’t have the need to rent a car at any point during our 7 day stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone thinking about visiting folly, you won’t regret it. We wish we didn’t have to leave, but we’ll be back.

Hidden Gem!

This property was awesome! From its third floor porch that looks out to the ocean and pier to its cool beach decorated interior. Our teenage boys loved the full size lofts. Lots of storage space and everything you need to make a home cooked meal. Sit on the deck at night and listen to the local bands while watching the waves come in. Scott the owner was very gracious and responded to emails almost instantly. Will, the on site manager and his team were awesome. Will greeted us each day and made sure we had everything we needed. I’ve been coming to Folly for more than 16 years and this by far has been the coolest and best located property we have stayed at. Literally beach access across the street in the rear of the property and heart of downtown walking out from the front of the property. This place is a must stay in Folly!

Amazing stay in Folly Beach

It was our first time in Folly Beach, and we will definitely be back. It was me and my two boys, one is 15 and 6'2", and one is 12 and 5'7". I stayed in the bedroom and the boys stayed in each of the lofts. The kitchen was modern and amazing and everything was upgraded (all the way to the linens which I really appreciate as an avid/picky traveler). The boys loved the huge smart TV for sports at night. The location was fantastic- right next to Rita's, and in walking distance to all of the amazing restaurants. It is directly across the street from the beach, and you can see the ocean as well as the sunrise from the balcony (3rd floor). I watched the sunrise from the balcony on day1 but for all of the other days, I walked across the street and watched it from the beach. There is no washer and dryer but we actually made it 5 days without it - they have many places to hang towels and we brought enough clothing. There is a laundry mat close by which they sent the address to. The owner was very responsive and showed me how to use the amazing coffee nespresso maker. Our pictures are to die for and I want to go back!! Thanks Scott and team!

Conveniently located Folly Beach with great view

Fantastic location!

Our family stayed here the week after 4th of July, once we parked the car- we never had to move it! The location is unbelievable: steps away from the beach, a few doors down from Bert's, and a few steps to all of the local restaurants and shops. We are a family of 3 and had plenty of space. The front porch is magnificent for the dinners that we cooked there! We can't wait to come back again!

Badly needed escape!

Really enjoyed the week in this property. It was cooler outside (for June) and we spent a lot of time on the porch swings or doing puzzles at the kitchen table. So convenient to walk across street with our boogie boards when the waves were higher, or to walk around and shop and eat. Plenty of good restaurants in Folly these days too.

So cute!

This place was perfect for us and our two teen girls. Plenty of room to spread out. Great location. Only moved our car to go to Charleston one day. The only thing that would have made our stay better is if the closet in the bedroom was renovated into a half bath with a small washer and dryer. The area on the other side of the room could be a closet. One bathroom was sometimes tricky with four of us. And it would have been nice to wash beach towels.

My mother was Folly Beach's only pharmacist for 20 years, and one of Charlestons last independent pharmacists. She loved Folly and settled here after working in New York City and California. I used to deliver prescriptions by bicycle. I am a graduate of the College of Charleston and Medical University of South Carolina.

Why they chose this property

This property is newly remodeled, with an open floor-plan and very comfortable. It is as close to the beach access and pier as possible, No other apartment is closer to the pier. It has one of the biggest decks on the beach, and an unobstructed view of the ocean and pier, yet still quiet.

What makes this property unique

Twin loft beds on each side of the front living room. swinging hammock chairs on the porch. There is on-site staff every day from 8-6 and sometimes later. On-site manager available for any issues or contact me.
