Charming Folly Cottage! Steps to Downtown, Pier & Beach!

Wee Daffodil is a classic 1939 beach cottage located in the heart of Folly Beach. Just steps to the restaurants and shops of Center St, it is also a very short two block stroll to the beach and newly reopened Folly Pier. It is perfect for a cozy getaway for up to 2-3 guests.

Recently renovated, refreshed and updated, Wee Daffodil features all new furnishings and decor, two 55" smart tvs and high speed internet. The quaint coastal cottage kitchen features all of your home comforts, and counter seating for 2. Wee Daffodil has two private outdoor living areas: a small covered porch facing W. Cooper Ave and a private deck facing the Daffodil courtyard. An off street parking space is guaranteed and a beach access path is directly across the street. Wee Daffodil is part of the landmark Daffodil compound and shares an outdoor common area that includes: lounge areas, garden shower, and beautiful lush tropical landscaping.

This property can be rented alone or in conjunction with Little Daffodil and/or Big Daffodil to sleep as many as 12 guests. Please book with confidence as this property is licensed by city of Folly Beach as a vacation rental - License Number LIC

Perfect location in Folly Beach

The Wee Daffodil was the perfect size for just my wife and I. It was clean and comfortable and within walking distance to every place you need to be on Folly! Highly recommended!

Great Place!

Loved this little home! Perfect location right next to everything. Very clean and nicely decorated. We didn’t cook at all, but the kitchen was well stocked if we had wanted to. Also plenty of towels/linens.

Fall weekend trip

We booked our stay so we could enjoy both Folly and Charleston. The accommodation is as described. Very convenient to the shops/restaurants and the beach. Very good communication.

Folly Beach wedding anniversary

Enjoyed our stay! Great location to Folly Beach’s restaurants, shopping, pier and beaches. Just a couple of things that I observed. The lamp on the left side of the bed was a little wobbly around the bulb when trying to turn on and off. I have MS and my balance is a little off so I noticed the top on pedestal sink in the bathroom was loose. When I would hold on to it while brushing my teeth I had to be careful. Don’t mean to nitpick but thought you should know. I loved the shower head. The bed was very comfy. The little front porch was nice to sit on and relax. We had a great time and I’ve already told others about your place and they want to stay. So I’m sending them the link. We are already looking forward to staying again!

Great location!

Perfect location for our quick trip to Folly Beach. We didn’t have a car so it was great spot to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Enjoyed sitting on the cute front porch.

Perfect little cottage

We LOVED Wee Daffodil. The hosts were kind and responsive. The property is as described and has everything you need. The convenience to Center St is the best part. I would definitely stay there again.

Week at Folly Beach

My wife and I recently spent a week in the Daffodil cottage at folly beach. Cottage #2 was the perfect size for the two of us with many small touches to make it feel like home (a comfy king bed, strong AC, new appliances, big TVs and solid water pressure). Some of these features are oddly hard to find in rentals. The location is perfect and just a few minute walk to restaurants, stores, the beach and pier. The location was quiet with no disturbances from the neighbors or street. It is also an easy drive into Charleston to visit other nearby attractions. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Folly Beach.

Great location and cozy spot with outstanding host

Great location that made it super convenient to walk to downtown and the beach. It was just enough room for my wife and baby to be comfortable. Nice outdoor living spaces as well with the nice front and back porches. Host was very helpful and communicative during the check-in process and accommodated our needs.

Perfect Spot for Couple

Perfect spot for a couple! Close to everything, beach and bars. The place was very clean and well maintained. There were even extra beach chairs on the property we were able to use. Excellent stay!

Daffodil Rental

The place was pristine and decorated beautifully. It had everything we could want. Perfect for two people and a very short walk to the beach and all the restaurants. The owners even dropped off two beach towels for us to use. We were happy they also had beach chairs. The only thing we could have used was a beach umbrella. Would highly recommend this if place.

Long weekend

Stay was great. Location of property is perfect for us, could walk to most places. House is perfect size for a couple and very clean and well maintained. Great trip!

I am born and raised in Charleston and Michael is a transplant who has lived here for many years. We live just down the street at the end of East Ashley Avenue, almost to the Morris Island Lighthouse. Our other Folly rentals include the rest of The Daffodil Cottages Compound (Daffodil Big 2br/2bth and Daffodil Little 1br/1bth) and two cottages in the east end know as Marshmellow 2br/2bth and Oleander 3br/2bth. It is located on our quiet east end street and offers marsh and ocean views from the front and rear decks. Also, If interested in staying in downtown Charleston for a few nights, we have 3, two bedroom apartments located at the corner of Warren and St Philip Streets that we run through vrbo as well! We own and operate Stella's Restaurant and Mosaic Catering + Events as well. If any questions at all about the area, do not hesitate to reach out. We love our island and are always excited to share information!
