This comfortable vacation home is one of three rentals on the property. It's a short walk to Schroon Lake Village.. A great place to relax after a day in the sun or on the slopes. It's roomy interior allows for a place to share with family and friends.There's a dock for water access and room to tie your boat.
This tranquil property is in the heart of the Adirondacks, Just 20 minutes from Gore Mountain, it's a great vantage point to explore the beautiful Adirondack Mountains.
There is live entertainment just a walk away in Schroon Lake Village. Close to churches and the Word of Life Center.
Fall Season : Fall - Come enjoy the best season of all! The water In September is still warm enough to swim, but the crowds are gone. The fall colors are brilliant and the air is crisp and clear. Sit on the front porch and watch the loons swim by.
Golf/ski: The local golf course is just around the corner from this property. Schroon Lake runs an excellent beginning skiing facilities at the golf course in the winter. There is a rope tow and lessons are offered. Great starter hill.
Ski Season: Sit in the house after a long day at the slopes and enjoy watching the ice fishermen. Better yet, join them. By the way, some of the best snowmobile trails are just a short way from the house. Restaurants and grocery store are just a few minutes away.

The main house is only 35' from the water. The enclosed screen porch allows you to enjoy the lake no matter what the weather. It's warm and comfy with plenty of room for all activities. This house is convenient to lake, golf, stores, and has all the conveniences of home. Gore Mountain is 25 minutes away. The house is within walking distance of stores, restaurants and the lake.
What makes this house unique
The main house (#169543) has room for 10; the Chalet (#194658) room for 6 and the new house (#3827122) room for 8 (3 bedrooms and a pullout couch). It's a great getaway for a family, family reunion, and friends.

The Schroon Lake area is an easy drive from Saratoga Springs, Lake George, Fort Ticonderoga and many other Adirondack attractions. If coming to Saratoga for the thoroughbred racing season, this would be an ideal place to stay. Enjoy the track, then come back for a quiet evening by the lake. The commute from Saratoga to Schroon is an easy ride from Exit 14 to Exit 27 on the Northway. Avoid all the racetrack traffic going toward Albany. There are some excellent restaurants in the Schroon area. Just make your reservations before you leave the house in the morning and by the time you get back to the lake, you will have a seat--miss the track crowd and those long waits.

We Will Be Back!
Schroon Lake, in my opinion is the perfect lake! Long, clean, and deep. I never have encountered excessive boat traffic. In fact there are times I have wondered where everybody was. It felt like my own private lake. The house was more than comfortable for our family of 6. The house provided ample room for dining, playing cards putting out a puzzle etc on the large dining table and the other couple of tables in the great room. Each room as multiple windows to allow for the great lake breezes at night. The screened porch is ideal for reading a good book or just gazing at the beauty of this wonderful lake. I have also stayed at the Chalet which is great for a couple or small family. This is the 7th time I have stayed in one of the houses owned by the Hasbroucks and each time I was welcomed by a clean home away from home. The kitchens are adequately supplied with cooking items and each house has a gas grill! The docks are perfect if you have a boat. Just a few steps away and you are at your boat ready for a wonderful day on the lake. Steve, Karen and the family

Awesome property - very close to the water!
We had a great family weekend at the house. Swimming, hanging out, eating, campfires, s'mores and lounging around. Lots of space and close to town. We rented a pontoon boat and had a fun time. Sticks and Stones restaurant was a nice spot for a group dinner.
Worth repeat visits
We've spent two separate weeks and and have enjoyed several long weekends at the house with family and friends. The house is well maintained, clean and very comfortable, and accommodates a group well. The kitchen is well-supplied for cooking and baking. Love the gas fireplace on chilly nights, after a fire in the outdoor fireplace. It's a very peaceful setting - very calming listening to the water at night. We spend a lot of time on the front porch, enjoying the view and reading, knitting or spinning wool. The town is a 5-minute walk away and has restaurants, baked goods, a pizza place, a full grocery store and ice cream! OP Fredericks restaurant is 15 minutes down Route 9 and has great food! Adirondack General Store serves a great breakfast, and makes good sandwiches for lunch, and has a great selection of Adirondack souvenirs. There are several hiking trails in the area for various levels of ability. Fort Ticonderoga is 45 minutes away. Natural Stone Bridge and Caves in Pottersville - very close by and great fun for the whole family! Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake is a great day trip. We highly recommend this house to family and friends, and very much look forward to our return visits.
