We are on our way to visit Yosemite National Park and wanted a nice place to stay and this certainly fit the bill! It is a very clean & cozy. A great place to stay in the host communicated very well with us. We didn't have any problem finding it.

Really nice corner unit in the Village, so a short walk to restaurants, gondola and shops. As noted, it is actually in the Village, so no need to cross the street. Unit is clean and comfy - nice gas fireplace and the pictures fairly present it. There is a nice deck facing outwards. Communication with Michaela was really great, which was helpful b/c I booked last minute and didn’t have a lot of time to sort out details. There is a very helpful guest book with lots of ideas for food, activities, etc.

Beautiful and convenient

This unit is very lovely, nicely decorated and furnished. Spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Lovely pools and spas and wonderful food and coffee shops and entertainment just a few steps away, plus easy access to the shuttles and trolleys to get you around Mammoth. Being right in the Village makes the location ideal for your Mammoth activities. BUT… it’s noisy. Unit is right on the corner of Forest Trail and Minaret, lots of traffic day and night. At 5 AM trucks pull up just below the 3rd level condo making tons of noise. If you’re used to quiet, it may be challenging to sleep.

A bit misleading

Although we have stayed at other properties owned by the this owner, we found this unit a bit mis-leading. The location, not so great. The view they reference is actually over-looking the main street, which can be quite noisy. The balcony, we let's just say it's something to be desired. The unit has two bedrooms, one en-suite the other is not. This is not clear in the advertisement. It lacks cooking utensils, a DVD player would be nice in the main room. I have a recording of the Snow Plow removing snow from the street below, but I will refrain including it here. Let's just say, anyone who has seen the movie "My Cousin Vinny" and the scenes where Vinny is awakened by some obscene noise at 5am in the morning are present. Michaela, a little heads up would have been nice.

Thank you for the visit. I see that this is the fourth negative review you've left out of all four of your stays. The Village Lodge is a condo hotel, which means that the floorplan of the units are identical; thus the patio area is identical to all units --- no units have two en-suite bathrooms but rather only one --- and half of the units face outward towards the road, and half of the units face inward towards restaurants. You have now left negative reviews for two inward facing as well as two outward facing of my units. When it snows the Town of Mammoth Lakes uses snow plows to remove the snow and is required in any town that receives snow. We also have the most elabore kitchen with a huge assortment of pots, pans, utensils, full size fridge, 4 burner stove, oven, and much more! Please notify me before any future bookings so that I can see what exactly you're looking for and direct you to the correct place. Thank you once again!

Great location, cozy condo!

We love coming up to Mammoth every winter to ski, and this condo was absolutely perfect for our trip! The proximity to local restaurants and the gondola was key, the condo was very clean and cozy, and the entire check in process was a breeze. Michaela was also a great help before we got there, and quick to respond after we checked in to help us with whatever we needed. We will for sure be staying here again!
