Val D'Isere is an excellent location for Winter and Summer activities! We just finished a complete remodel of the upstairs; including new flooring, gas fireplace, kitchen cabinets/counter tops and bathroom! All the shopping & dining convenience of The Village, without the crowds and noise. Our unit is next to the Ski Back Trail and directly across from The Village - just a 3 minute walk across the Ski Back Trail Bridge. Two car parking is available right outside the front door; once you're at Val D'Isere, you don't need your car! It is just a short walk to the Gondola to the Canyon Lodge and the shuttle service to the town and main lodge. The Val D'Isere complex has a newly remodeled large jacuzzi, sauna, shower/dressing room area and laundry room. During the Summer, enjoy the large pool and BBQ area and easy access to hiking & mountain bike trails, and walking distance to concert venues.

About Dave Van Der Linden

This condo has been in our family for over 25yrs. We live in San Diego, CA and have three children that leaned to ski at Mammoth. While our favorite time of year is winter, we also thoroughly enjoy the beautiful Summer weather and the year-around activities Mammoth has to offer.

Why Dave Van Der Linden chose Mammoth Mountain

Even before the The Village was built, this was a great location. Away from the hustle and bustle of the town, yet close to the lifts and shuttle service. We've stayed in a lot of different condo complexes in Mammoth and feel the Val D'Isere can't be beat! And now that our unit has a completely remodeled upstairs, the unit has never been nicer!

What makes this condo unique

Val D'Isere was always a great location, but now with The Village right across the street, it's an UNBELIEVABLE location! Far enough away not to get all the late night noise, but close enough to shop, eat, or get the morning cup of coffee in a 5 minute walk!

Spacious unit in a fantastic location!

We stayed at Dave's place Memorial weekend for a spring skiing trip. We absolutely loved it - it was clean, stocked with all the blankets and towels we could need, parking was easy, and it was in such a convenient location. We actually didn't discover the bridge to the village until the second day (whoops) but either way, it's really close to the village! The beds were comfortable, the fireplace was a nice plus and the hot tub was perfect post-snowboarding.

What really gave this place 5 stars though was Dave, the owner. He was so helpful and responsive - he even let us have a late checkout so we could go back to the unit after snowboarding to shower before making the trek home. I would absolutely rent this place again because of how helpful he was - thank you for helping to make our trip amazing!

Clean, convenient and perfect for a great Mammoth weekend

Booked this property for guys weekend getaway. We've done this trip the last 4 years and this is our favorite spot yet. The condo is clean, well appointed with all the stuff you need during your stay (towels, well stocked kitchen, clean beds). We loved it because we had four guys and everyone could have their own bed. It's also hard to beat being right across from the village. Makes getting to the slopes and having access to all the Village had to offer so easy. I would recommend highly.

Sometimes with the large winter crowds, they have a hard time keeping up. I've passed along your feedback. Hope you can make it back up to stay with us again!

Beautiful Property!!!

We loved staying here. It is so close to Canyon Lodge. The spa and sauna are a perfect thing to do after a day on the snow. The home is comfortable and the renovations are beautiful! We appreciated the opportunity to stay here.

Good location, well stocked

Property is a good location for walking to the village, snow was very high from recent storms so did the roads over the bridge but still only 7 minutes from the front door to the village gondola. Property itself is well stocked, especially the kitchen with all you could need to cook with plus ample glassware/dishware. Beds comfortable, nice to have cable flat screens in each bedroom, bathrooms are clean and good size and have good water pressure/temperature. Gas fireplace in the living room is strong enough to heat the room - quickly. Convenient parking right outside the front door. Nice private deck with sliding glass door, fridge is not giant but the deck was enclosed so we used that to store drinks. Overall a well maintained property and the owner is very responsive on any questions via email.
