About this property

1920s QUIET North Park Casita - Near EVERYTHING!!

In the historical neighborhood of North Park, our 1920s Casita is close to EVERYTHING. Just minutes to beaches, Balboa Park, Petco Park, SDSU Cox Arena, downtown and the Gaslamp District, Coronado, Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, the Convention Center and Comic-Con. A wide array of unique restaurants, breweries and shops are just a few short blocks away. Perfect for an evening stroll.

We have a fully-stocked and updated kitchen, washer and dryer, window air conditioners in the bedroom and living room and a mini-split system in the kitchen (central air is not possible in our 100-year old home), free WiFi, two TVS with DirecTV, NFL network AND the NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTubeTV, including a TV on our outdoor patio.

Enjoy a glass of wine under the stars while you BBQ on our propane grill and watch your favorite show. An electric fireplace in the living room adds that special ambience on cold, winter nights. (As in mid-50s, usually. It is San Diego, after all.)

We welcome housebroken and friendly dogs. And little kids, too. Although we have a limit of two each. There is no separate bed for the kids, but the couch is large and offers plenty of space for two mid-to-small sized kids. *Linens provided for couch sleepers.*

Avid environmentalists, we hope you will join us in doing our part to save this world for the next generations. We recycle and watch our water and electricity consumption. It would be much appreciated, but not required, if you would help us out with these efforts.

Sorry, but we don't allow parties or loud noises and music after 9 p.m. This is our home and these are our neighbors and we want to be respectful of them. We really hope you enjoy staying in our home and that you love it as much as we do. It is a pleasure and a privilege to share our home with you.

NOTE: We have a security camera at the front door only. Once you have arrived, please let us know if you would like us to turn it off for the rest of your stay.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Please put dirty towels and linen on floor in front of washer.
Please turn off wall heater, air conditioners, fireplace and split system.
Put compost material in green bin and put emptied compost bucket in dishwasher.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
At the end of your stay, please … (1) Put bed linens and soiled towels on floor in front of washer/dryer. (2) Turn off all A/C units.
(3) Pick up ALL pet waste. Put in trash can by dog run. Failure to remove ALL pet waste will result in a minimum PENALTY of $50.00.
(4) Put all dirty dishes and compost bucket in dishwasher and start dishwasher. Thank you!

Great location—you can walk to everything in North Park. The casita was fantastic and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated that they allow dogs, and the back patio was such a nice touch—perfect for relaxing outside and enjoying the beautiful weather. Highly recommend!

I left both keys on the house. Uber picked me up at 5:30. It was only me staying. My surgery was more complicated than expected so recuperating in cottage was perfect. What would I do different. Id have Kleenex available, and I’m not sure the status of your modem as Wi-Fi keeps going in and out. Hard to watch tv with that. So very clean thank tou

This home was one of the best stays that we've experienced. It was very clean, well stocked with everything you would need. The owners were great! Very welcoming it was a great stay for my dogs. Location was great too, everything was about 10-15 min drive (zoo, gaslamp, downtown). We would definitely stay here again.
