Adorable Spanish style detached back home or casita in fantastic area of Historic North Park . Very quiet. Open & bright with Saltillo tile floor, open concept, updated kitchen, and eating area.. Comfy queen bed in bedroom and a full size hide-a-bed in living room, plus Pack 'n Play if needed. 50" TV/DVD with cable and high speed Internet. Private patio in front w/umbrella covered table & chairs. Private back patio w/loungers, bistro set, gas bbq grill & festive lighting. Laundry facilities available. One off street parking spot in driveway for your convenience. No stairs from parking to casita, the home is all on one level also. Organic products are supplied for your use, including the laundry soap that we use for your sheets and towels.

Walk to everything!! Cafes, restaurants, Morley Park where there is a newly renovated Historic 1933 outdoor public pool. Only 5 blocks from the casita. Bus stop nearby too. Walk score 89, close to Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Morley Field, shopping, restaurants, I-5, 15 minutes to beach, close to Downtown San Diego, Coronado Island and 14 minutes to airport.

Many nearby restaurants - the popular Communal Coffee Café and the Olympic Cafe (Greek food) is just a block away. Walk nearby to 30th & University for many restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping and breweries. Thursday is North Park's Farmers Market & Whole Foods is nearby. The Smoking Goat Bistro (French American), Urban Solace, Tamarindo (Latin), Soi, Craft & Sea, The Mission, Underbelly (Japanese noodle) are just a few restaurants to sample. This is a fantastic neighborhood with much to explore & experience! The location is amazing, and the casita is charming and very clean!

Our host was very responsive and professional. Our Casita stay was very comfortable and cozy. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We took walks to the park and went to a local gym for exercise. The location is very central to all the things that we did. I highly recommend this lovely Casita and we would come back and stay again!

Everything was wonderful—the location was quiet with groceries and coffee shop within a block or two. Kitchen was well appointed. Communication with host was immediate when we had questions. We failed to notice in pictures (although pictures do show this) that the bathroom is accessible only through the bedroom—not really an issue for us with family members but perhaps for other groups it could be.Overall we had a lovely stay!

Great location, great casita!

a lovely little cottage in the North Park area. Single floor so no upstairs neighbors, completely separate building that is well appointed and very comfortable. Highly Recommended!!

A place a couple can enjoy

The casita is well located in a very welcoming area of San Diego. Very quiet and comfortable. The place is well appointed and isgreat for a couple to enjoy the city. Located near to nice cafes and coffee shops. Grocery store is nearby. Street traffic is non existent so it is peaceful. Surprising place for one being located so close to the city.

Perfect little casita

This was just what we like for our vacation stays. Casita was very clean and furnished well. Location was great for visiting many of the San Diego sites. Off street parking is awesome to have.

Perfect for us

The casita was clean and well-stocked; it had everything we needed. It was the perfect size for two people. The beds (including sofa bed) were comfortable. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet for being so close to a major road. It was great to have private parking. It is within a few-block walk to restaurants/bars.

Everything we wanted and more

This was a great property. Everything in the listing and some extras. The location was perfect with walking distance to stores and restaurants, just a stone's throw from Balboa Park and the Zoo. Quiet, clean, and restful. Our host responded quickly the couple times we had questions. Would 100% recommend to a couple or a couple friends visiting San Diego.

All the comforts of home!

My husband and I recently spent a week in San Diego, and really enjoyed our stay. The casita was very comfortable, had what we needed, and provided a space to regroup at the end of our long days. The neighborhood had some good places to eat and get morning coffee within a short walk. I look forward to staying at this very comfortable home again on my next visit to SD.

Great property & great stay!

Very nice, well maintained, clean property, located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Very convenient location to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping areas and greater San Diego. We really enjoyed staying in this "Casita", everything was perfect and as promised. Perfect North Park location

Quick trip for me, my wife and a friend. We used to live in North Park and wanted to stay in the same area. Perfect little place. Nice. Quiet property being behind the main property. Short walk to all the food, coffee or bars. The zoo is walkable. All in all very good place.

Worked Well For Us

My husband and I were in San Diego to celebrate our friends' 40th wedding anniversary. Since we were seeing people in several parts of the county, we ended up eating there and not in the neighborhood where we were staying. When we were at the "casita", we stayed in and cooked there. The kitchen is well equipped. It was too hot to be outside. The house holds heat and gets rather warm during the day (no blind on western kitchen door). There is AC and it works quickly. The only drawback for me (not my husband) was not having a luggage rack. I travel a lot and prefer to live out of my suitcase; I never use a chest of drawers. There was some trouble communicating with the owner on our day of travel, but once we were in San Diego we didn't encounter any other communication issues. The guys living in the front house are very welcoming. The driveway isn't for everybody. We drove a Hundai Sonata and barely fit with enough room for us to get out (e.g., inches).

I closed down the vacation rental is May of 2020 when everyone cancelled because of Covid and rented the property full time. Now I am ready to open again and continue with the vacation property. I am excited to be able to provide you with a great and enjoyable stay.

I fell in love with this neighborhood that is so close to everything, from 3 blocks to olympic size swimming pool to the local cafe only 1 block away. Minute drive to beaches, the zoo and Balboa Park. I also enjoy sharing my home with people from all over the United States and the world so they can enjoy this little piece of heaven.
