Harmony House - a serene place to relax and renew

Harmony house is a graceful environment, offering a serene setting where you can relax and renew. This light-filled home has hardwood flooring throughout, as well as oriental rugs, antiques, artwork, a full kitchen, great linens – everything to make you feel at home and at ease. The gas fireplace, ideal for chilly mornings or evenings, can be lit by the push of a button.
The house is on half an acre of landscaped gardens. Outside there is a hot tub. There are vegetable beds for your salads, fruit trees to pick from, and perennial flower gardens to enjoy. Two decks have shaded patio tables to enjoy morning coffee or dinner at home.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Take the trash and recyclables to the bins on the far side of the garage behind the lattice. The grey bin is for trash, the blue is for recyclables, and the green bin is for compostable materials
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Because the house has new hardwood floors please wear slippers or socks inside instead of shoes, and carry wheeled luggage to your room. Thank you!

The best of the best!

Ange's place is completely gorgeous, inside and out. The gardens are especially beautiful (we visited in the spring). The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the gas fireplace warmed the place nicely. Ange's attention to detail is unmatched, and I look forward to staying here again.

Great get away in West Sonoma County

This house is truly dreamy. A literal embodiment of zen and harmony. The beds were comfy and the rooms were well put together, there's an espresso machine! It was a glorious time.

A beautiful home in every way.

We felt so fortunate to have Ange share her home. Every detail of the home -- inside and out -- has been thoughtfully curated. The home is comfortable, quiet and extremely well appointed. Ange is the perfect host, responsive and available if needed.

Wine Country Getaway with friends at Harmony House

Very nice home! We had anything and everything we needed. The host left out plenty of coffee and even a couple bottles of wine for us to enjoy. The wall fireplace was a nice touch. Very private! The host even came by when we were leaving to introduce herself and make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Third time, always a charm!

This was the third time that me and my three sisters stayed at Harmony House. The house is spotless, comfortable, spacious and beautiful! It has a wonderful location in Sebastopol which makes it central to vineyards, the gorgeous coastline, restaurants and all that Sonoma has to offer. All of the beds are super luxurious and so so comfortable. The house is stocked with necessary food staples, plentiful towels and lots of closet space with hangars. We look forward to many more stays in the years ahead!

Long weekend for a wedding

First, let me say that this place is top-notch, wonderful, comfortable, and such a great place to stay. We had four adults, and it was super comfortable for four adults. It is modern, Homie, and all the amenities that you really need. The coffee collection is superb and it is located close to everything yet out of the way so you don’t hear traffic or get disturbed. We had a special wildlife treat visiting and it just made the visit that much better. Our host is the best VRBO host that we have had, in our many years doing travel.

Loved Harmony House

Of all the vrbo houses we've stayed in, this moved to the top of our favorites! Beds great. Showers wonderful. The glassed in one with garden view is very private and great. Very clean. Well stocked. And very beautifully decorated. On the edge of town, it is quiet. The owner is close by and very helpful. She had the sofa bed already made up for us. The garden was beautiful and interesting.

Comfortable home

This is the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen at a VRBO. Great cooking pots and pans and serving dishes + thoughtful extras like olive oil and some pantry items. The kitchen feels like home. The house is comfortably, even cozily, furnished. Loads of towels and blankets. The beds were very comfy. We left early, though, because we were uncomfortable with the glass wall in the bathroom. We need more privacy for showers and toileting than is available in this house.

Beautiful garden!!

The garden and house are gorgeous. 2 minor things to consider adding. 1) a privacy curtain for the full bath over the garden window. 2) a bench near the entrance for those of us over 65 who like to sit while putting shoes on and off. Everything else in the house was beautifully appointed. The location was excellent. The garden was perfect and had me thinking about moving to Sebastopol —but only if Ange would do the garden.

Totally wonderful

My twin sister (70+ years old) stayed with me and we saw friends who we've known all our adult lives. The house is exquisite-- the photos don't do it justice. The house is beautiful and so well insulated. During a very hot day, we only used the AC for a few hours and in the early mornings, we didn't need the heater. The kitchen had GREAT cookware, knives, coffee makers, etc. Ange was a fabulous host. We didn't actually see her but I had a question and she answered my text immediately. The landscaping was so pretty! I've stayed in MANY VRBOs all over the world and I've never had a better experience than this.

Second time - double the pleasure!

This was our second time that we have stayed at Harmony House and it has now become our second home - in California! The home is just perfect for me and my 2 sisters who visit a fourth sister, annually, who lives in Sebastopol. Harmony House is a beautiful and relaxing home, with comfy beds, spacious rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, plentiful bath towels and an owner, Ange, who responds immediately to any questions. We are excited to visit again in 2023!

This is a beautifully designed and decorated home in a wonderful location with a thoughtful and detailed host. A most relaxing environment with beautiful gardens and a stunningly clean home with all the detailed amenities you could want. It was absolutely perfect for our ladies trip. Beautiful, relaxing wine country retreat

We spent a relaxing few days at Harmony House prior to a conference in San Francisco. We were looking for a central location to visit vineyards, redwoods, and the coast. Sebastopol was a wonderful small town, with great dining options, to use as a hub for our various plans. The house was immaculate, with everything we could have possibly needed. The gardens were really a highlight with unbelievable flowers, fruit trees, and a vegetable garden. Ange was wondering with her communication and while nearby, was never imposing. We spent our whole time in San Francisco wishing we were back at Harmony House and will definitely stay there again when we visit the area!

I’m a psychotherapist in private practice as well as a meditation teacher. For my own self-care I’ve created a home with indoor and outdoor spaces that bring rest and ease. I love my home and hope you will too!
I have a grown son who lives in New York and I now live with two geriatric animals: Emerald, a 20yr old cat who loves laps and attention, and Lila a 17-yr old blind and deaf Jack Russell terrier. Lila comes to work with me so is only on the property at weekends.
I’ve lived in Sebastopol for 20 years and enjoy its small town charm and its proximity to the coast, the Russian River, and beautiful hiking trails. I hope you will enjoy it also.
