Served our purpose well. In Flagstaff with my two young boys for a soccer camp at NAU. Cool historic home. Common areas - kitchen, dining and living room - spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms and sleeping quarters a little odd...only the one tub/shower in the downstairs bathroom. Upstairs bedroom is the master suite with king bed and half-bath. Large and spacious. Queen bedroom is downstairs right off the kitchen. This bedroom was very small and tight. Stairs to get up to the master suite are a little tricky, elderly may have trouble and should keep it in mind when booking. We enjoyed our stay!
Easy walk to EVERYTHING aim downtown Flagstaff. Cute clean quite space. Everything we needed towels, soap and dishwasher. Great suggestions for eating by property.
Pros: quiet street, spacious property, and absolutely amazing jacuzzi! Fully stocked kitchen including a pretty full spice cabinet and plenty of cooking pots/pans.
Cons: Some dated appliances & TVs. Wasn't a big deal for us though.
Went up to Flagstaff in the middle of one of the biggest snowstorms Flagstaff has ever seen! This cozy little Victorian cottage was the perfect place to call home during the storm! Super clean, everything you need (plenty of coffee), comfortable beds and a quiet neighborhood just blocks from downtown. It was great to see the kindness of the neighbors helping dig each other out and working as a community! And although we didn’t get a chance to use it, the hot tub was steamy and warm!! We will have to book a longer stay next time!!
We enjoyed our stay at this property. We found it clean and comfortable for three adults and one teen. The management was responsive. We loved the location -and the easy walk to downtown.
There were a few small issues that we encountered, which I mention only to set expectations:
-the stairs to the upstairs bedroom are well-described by other renters, but do heed their advice. These stairs are not easy to navigate- particularly if you have mobility issues, are tall or have big feet.
-the couch (not a pull-out sleeper) and master bed (now a king) have been replaced since the photos were taken.
-the ISP seems to limit bandwidth making streaming difficult/impossible
-having apps (like Hulu) downloaded to the Apple TV would have been nice (we couldn’t access them without Apple store pw)
-we did have our duplex neighbors accidentally walk into our unit - it was handled quickly by management- but still awkward.
-the shared walls are thin and our neighbors were noisy. We could clearly hear their conversations even from the upstairs bedroom and, in an effort to be respectful, we felt like we needed to whisper when we were in the home.
We did not utilize any of the shared areas -including the yard, hot tub or laundry.
Nevertheless, we really did like the property and we would absolutely stay there again.
Fantastic location for getting food and drinks on foot.
It is a great property in a very quiet neighborhood. There was very little automotive traffic on this road after dark. The house was larger than expected and was very comfortable. Food and drinks were super close via walking even with a toddler and an infant. Split level home layout should be strategically considered for families with toddlers and infants trying to safely split the family across levels. One suggestion for the owner is to add hotel door chains to entryways for rental occupants peace of mind. With the main entry being a coded door (who has the code and how often is it changed) as well as interior doors opening to other rental units it would have made me stay more comfortable to have a way to chain these doors.
Beautiful house that's well cared for in the heart of Flagstaff. Central location made it easy to get around and the responsiveness of the owner was phenomenal. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!
The location of this property is perfect for enjoying all that downtown Flagstaff has to offer. We parked our car and walked everywhere. The home is clean and the stay was very comfortable. VRBO lists it as a 2 bathroom but pay attention to the description that it is really only a bath and a half. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.
The Victorian house location is perfect if you are wanting to explore downtown Flagstaff. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The house is very comfortable, although the upstairs bedroom does stay much warmer than the lower part of the house. We stayed during summer and it was pretty warm upstairs even with the air conditioner. The private backyard makes a nice place to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Very easy access and location. The neighborhood is very nice with other Victorian style homes. I would recommend staying here when visiting Flagstaff.
this rental is in a great location, quiet but central to everything in Flagstaff. Host was very helpful about the area (I even found my new apartment in Flag through them).
We had 4 people stay here since we had plans to visit the Grand Canyon. It turned out to be more than just a stopping off point. We had a great time exploring downtown Flagstaff (about a 5 minute walk) and used the BBQ for a nice stay-at-home meal. Great spot if you plan on visiting the Grand Canyon, or if you just want to enjoy Flagstaff!
The living spaces were much larger than we anticipated. Great for engaging as a small group.
Pull-out couch was not comfortable- at all. But, after a day of enjoying the walkable breweries and restaurants, it was fine.
The hot tub was great.
Overall, wonderful time 🥂
Cool old house in great location to downtown, NAU, and the Arizona ski Bowl. Hottub was nice after a full day on the slopes. The main house is split into 2 rentals with an additional detached rental also on the property, so 3 separate rentals total. The multiple sets of people that shared the rentals with us were well behaved and nice although the last night of the first set of renters got a little loud with a strong smell of something interesting and they were gone the next day.
Loved the energy of this old house and also its history. The location is in walking distance to many restaurants and stores. About 1/2 mile away for most places. The house is old so expect warped flooring and old cabinets and such. My husband and I stayed upstairs with half bath in the loft whereby you access by a stairway watching your head each time. No door once you get to the top of the steps. Our single friend stayed in bedroom on 1st floor and had a door. Lots of space to hang out including the living room/dining room, kitchen, back yard and front porch. We caught snow showers and sat on front porch enjoying winter wonder land. Lots of history in the neighborhood. We loved taking walks and sight seeing the old town. Well stocked kitchen. Thank you
My family and I enjoyed staying at the Victorian Suite. The home was comfortable, clean, and centrally located. It was perfect for our trip to visit the NPX.
Worked perfectly for our family reunion at Thanksgiving time. The house had everything and the room we needed to enjoy Thanksgiving together as a family.
We were 2 couples and Stayed a week at this cool unique home. Walkable to all old town restaurants and bars. Hot tub was amazing after coming back from hikes each day. Keyless entry, parking was great and washer dryer access. Double bed in smaller second bedroom comfortable but against the wall. I had to crawl over my spouse to get to the bathroom during the night but if you are a single (or sleep thru the night) not a problem. Loved the house neighborhood. Highly recommend.
