We had a wonderful stay. Great house just as in pics and wonderful pool. Harvey was an excellent host with great communication. The pool floaties were great and also all the chairs and beach umbrella made going to the beach easy.

Great home for families in the Springs, East Hampton

Excellent property for families. Kids had so much fun in the pool and spent a lot of time on the deck. Harvey is a great host - communicates regularly to make sure having a comfortable stay. In the Springs neighborhood of East Hampton - very close to EH Main Street, Amagansett, etc. Would definitely recommend!

Charming and quaint

We had a great stay at this property in the Springs. The house has been well maintained and, while not overly modern, it's charming, clean and totally fine for a great few days with kids. The pool is really nice and the backyard is well maintained, and the location is a short drive from everything, including the beach, the town, etc. We would definitely stay there again and Harvey was a great, attentive host!

What a Great Family Stay!

I was expecting good, but was blown away by Harvey's home and hospitality. Be hard pressed to get that kind of service at a 5 star hotel. Now, please don't expect a 5 star hotel, for it is not. It is a clean, cozy, East Hamptons home with the warmth and charm one might come out east for. Complete with pool and fireplace (not that you'll need it in summer!). Star gazing from the yard was incredible! Give your eyes 10 minutes to adjust and you'll see a planetarium! Just a great place to stay central to towns like East Hampton proper, Sag Harbor, Shelter Island, and Montauk. Thanks Harvey!! We WILL be back! Best, The Varrichios (August, 2023)

Good location

The location is great! House is ok, not updated at all aside from the bathroom downstairs. The pool- I wish it hadn’t been advertised as heated. It was cold. My husband and kids had to brace themselves each time they went in, and we went in August. Harvey was responsive but the responses mostly explained why the pool wasn’t warm enough to be comfortable. The mosquitoes were also a huge problem outdoors. If this was the extent of my review, I’d still have given it 4.5 stars because my kids really did love the pool. However, on our short trip the cleaners barged in twice. The first time was a day after check in. She rang the doorbell and practically pushed my husband aside to say she wanted to check something. It felt like the owner wanted to have someone check to see we were who we said we were. Day of checkout- our checkout was 10am, get a text from Harvey the day prior saying cleaning will begin 10am. At 9.30am as my husband had just started loading our car, the cleaners pull in. My husband says we aren’t ready, you are early. They say we will be out of your way and before he can even text me to say they are coming in, the cleaners walk into the house! What an invasion of privacy. I texted Harvey at 9.35 and instead of offering to kick them out, he said he will talk to them, giving the impression that they were there with his blessing. Felt like we were leaving a cheap motel. If you’re going to make money off your home guests need to feel welcome.

Hi Veronica, Unfortunately the pool heater wasn’t working during your stay and I wasn’t aware of that until you let me know the day before of your checkout. The heater pump was replaced immediately and the heat returned to the pool but that was too late for your stay. Things like this do happen and the best one can do is take care of it ASAP. The cleaning people did arrive a ½ hour too early and I’m sorry that interfered with your departure. I have spoken with them and I hope that never happens again. Please read all previous reviews as all the guests do feel welcomed.

Amazing Stay!

Our time at this property was amazing! It was the perfect size for 3 couples and it actually felt even bigger in person than from the pictures. The backyard and pool was very nice and the house comes with lots of fun floats and pool toys. Harvey was a great host, very responsive, and very easy check-in/check-out process. We will definitely be back!

My week in the Springs was very enjoyable- Harvey is a terrific host who responds quickly to any of your needs- I particularly liked the pool and found the area to be nice and quiet !

Perfect family getaway house

We had two couples and our grandchildren ( ages 4 and 6 months). The upstairs bedroom setup was perfect with the jack and Jill connected bathroom between rooms. Downstairs queen bedroom had easy access to second bathroom ( bed was very firm😁). Living room is spacious and has a flatscreen tv - Kitchen had everything we needed and is conveniently located near door to deck and pool. Pool is immaculately clean and we spent most of our time enjoying the lovely shaded yard and pool. Plenty pool toys and at least 40 beach towels!!!! Make sure you take a walk to see the deer in the neighborhood. ( we did in our pajamas 🤣) Harvey was very attentive to any questions we had and responded immediately- If you’re expecting Hamptons upscale luxury this isn’t it however If you’re looking for a casual comfortable place for family this is perfect.

Lovely house for our family vacation!

We had a lovely stay at Harvey's property! The pool was FANTASTIC for the kids with fun pool floats/noodles available. The house was well stocked with everything you need for the kitchen, board games, towels, Netflix, beach furniture etc. The house was centrally located, only a short drive away from East Hampton town shopping. Finally, Harvey was super responsive and a pleasure to work with. I'd highly recommend this house!

Relaxation and good eating!

Absolutely loved our Stay at this house. Harvey was very easy to contact and gave us great tips on where to go while we visited. He was more than accommodating and even checked in on us during our stay to make sure all was well. The home is absolutely lovely, way better than the pictures portray, Even though he has a few neighbors it was very secluded and we had plenty of privacy. We were enjoying the pool almost every day and he even had lawn maintenance and a pool guy come and make sure everything was clean, which was super fast and nice to know that he takes care of his place! We brought a lot of lawn games and spent most of our stay outside, The house also has a wrap around deck so it was easy to separate from the pool and enjoy some outdoor grilling. All in all it was such a lovely stay. Thank you Harvey for an enjoyable week at your home!

Perfect Hamptons vacation

My family and I stayed at Harvey's property for 5 days in the beginning of July and we loved every minute of it. The house has everything you'd need from household items to pool and beach toys. Our kids (2 and 5 years old) loved the pool and the back yard (and seeing a deer family stroll by 15 yards away). Harvey was very responsive throughout the whole rental process. I cannot recommend this property highly enough and we hope to go back next summer.

Great Stay!

The house is beautiful, in a great location and exactly as described. It is very spacious and has a great outdoor area that is perfect for any summer vacation. The owner Harvey could also not have been any easier to work with and helped make our stay great. Would highly recommend!
