The house was perfect for a weekend get away to play some D&D with friends. Plenty of space for sleeping and plenty of seating. Only complaint is the wifi was not super reliable, but it worked for our needs.
Absolutely amazing place within a variety of destinations within short distance. Great host and cute place with plenty of room and beautiful yard. Very pleased and will be renting again.
The home was in a great location not far from crywtal lake, sleeping bear dunes and lake Michigan..
The homee was very clean, comfy and spacious. This was our first home rental and we would rent again.

Thank you so much, Delilah! You guys were great renters and we’d love to have you back. I see you got to enjoy some of beautiful places in our area! Those are all favorites of mine! Hope to see you again!
Overall the stay was very good. The only thing that surprised us was that it was right next to a gas station. It actually worked out very well because we could just walk over when we needed something. Great place to stay with friends and family, there was lots of space.

Thanks Karissa! My listing states this house is next to the gas station. It is quite convenient in many ways. 😊 Glad you had a nice stay! Thanks for being respectful visitors!

The thing I liked most was we had everything we needed for our stay available to us in the home. If we did forget something, the EZ Mart right next door had it. Having all linens was great, too. AC was cold and great relief when we returned. Check in was easy and communication was great. Within quick drive for a lot of easy fishing. This place easily accomodated the five of us.
The home was as advertised and worked great for our group. If you are looking for fancy or a super quiet location, this isn't it. If you are looking for a comfortable place to hangout as a base for a trip, this is great. Plenty of beds, clean, and Tracy was very friendly! The gas station next door was really convenient and we went there several times for supplies. I agree with some other reviewers that the furnace was unusually loud, but it didn't really impact our stay. If you are looking for an affordable option in this area, this is a great option!
Fantastic month in the Manistee NF and surrounding areas!
Tracy, Clyde, and their family were absolutely wonderful hosts! Three of us were doing some forestry research in the Manistee National Forest, and this house near Tippy Dam served as a perfect home base for us. Plenty of space for three people (or far more! We were a small group) - comfortable and cozy furniture, nice backyard, very well stocked kitchen with everything you'd need, right next to a convenience store/gas stations. It was clear that they really kept up with the property - it was clean, updated, and we had zero issues over a month! Lots of wonderful outdoor rec opportunities nearby, and a close (25 ish minutes) drive to Manistee. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone!!
This is the 2nd time renting this property and it does great for what we need it for! Family and friends salmon fishing for the weekend making great memories!
So, it wasn’t much. It was ok, but if you were expecting a place to stay near things to do… move on. It was fine to use for sleeping and showering for sure!!
My husband, myself, and a few of his buddies wanted a weekend get away full of fishing and this was the PERFECT location being within miles of multiple rivers access, boat launches, and the Tippee Damn! Not to mention the convenience of the BP literally next to the driveway for drinks. (Kind of ironic the BP had a sign saying fisherman welcomed but had no fishing stuff ..) Pappy’s bait shop is right around the corner though so no worries! Plus Meijer is about 20 minutes so we were able to get groceries and cook at the house with all the utensils provide in the house. The house has a great layout and perfect backyard for bonfires. I will mention the one downfall of the house is poor water pressure but at least there is a shower with PLENTY of towels! We are already planning another trip in September and I hope we are able to stay here again! Maybe even make it a yearly thing 🥰
