Quick trip to Oahu

This apartment was a great landing place for our stay near Waikiki. The included parking was a bonus. Beds were comfortable, and the Murphy bed was much more comfortable than the usual pull out couch. We used the kitchen and enjoyed the provided coffee each morning on the lanai.

I was a little skeptical due to some bad reviews but honestly it’s a really great place to stay if you’re on a budget and need lots of room. The building is a 2 ish minute walk away from the beach and there is so much to do around.

This was the worst experience I have had with a rental. Koko Rentals was awful. The unit sleeps 4 people and they only provided 1 comforter stating additional comforters cost. We had to purchase our own. Then we informed them of a safety issue. The back door did not lock which was concerning traveling with a toddler. When we informed them of this they told us “that’s a personal safety issue not a safety issue according to the state of Hawaii”. We left the unit after 4 days and paid to stay somewhere else because it was awful. Vrbo was great and paid for us 2 nights in a hotel while we relocated because they also were not getting anything back from the owner or property management company. Do not waste your time. Waikiki Banyan is a beautiful property but this rental and property management experience was horrendous.

The place is big enough for a family. Unfortunately the water did leak onto the floor when we shower and also from the air conditioner onto the deck as other reviewers have mention. Check in process was rough, we were not able to get into our room and had to reach out for assistance which took a lot of time. We would not stay here again for future vacation plan.

overall everything is fine It would be useful to have a few more dishes we only had three cups for tea or coffee so that for four of us we didn't have any plastic dishes to take downstairs to the barbecue and we were given three toilet papers for a two week stay and when we asked for more toilet paper we n were told that we had to pay 25 dollars,

Our December/January stay was convenient and easy. Contactless check in to our room and parking (included in room cost) was easy. Quick responses from the resort and clear continuous communication was received. There were enough supplies (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, linens and kitchen necessities etc.) throughout our stay. We grocery shopped and stocked our kitchen with food and snacks for cost efficiency. Our room was clean and had a lot of room. 2 queen beds in the bedroom with privacy sliding pocket doors were firm and comfortable. The murphy bed located in the living room was soft and comfortable. The room also has a balcony with chairs and a table to relax on overlooking the outdoor activities area (pool, hot tub, bbq stations and a court). Closet to hang clothes (a few hangers), and 1 dresser in the living room. We did live out of our suitcases for the week. Luggage racks would be a nice added accessory. Laundry is located on the same floor with a fee. Trash shoot has its own room on your floor to discard throughout your stay. Extremely convenient location, within walking distance to beach, food, zoo and shopping. Bus line is located on the corner if you decide not to rent a car. Resort has a coffee shop and mini-market on site. I would highly recommend staying here. When we travel back I would stay here again.
