The Waikiki Banyan is located in the heart of East Waikiki and just 1 block away from the warm sands and azure waters of world famous Waikiki Beach. Just steps away are the Honolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Park, Waikiki Aquarium, world-class shopping, and a multitude of international cuisine restaurants.

Our spacious one-bedroom suite has been renovated with all new flooring and furniture reupholstery for 2016. In addition, we continue to upgrade bedding, small appliances, light fixtures, and supplies as needed. The unit has Tommy Bahama island living inspired furniture, and granite countertops in the kitchen and bathroom. There are many extras to save you money. The suite is a strictly non-smoking unit which ensures a pleasant stay for all. Please note recent laws do not allow smoking on the lanai and around the building as well.

This suite has two double/full size beds, a queen sofa sleeper, and can comfortably accommodate 2-4 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals. The unit includes air-conditioning, a flat screen TV and DVD player, Free Internet Wi-Fi, Cable TV, and a Telephone for local calls.

VIEW & FLOOR LOCATION:

Located on the mid-high 26th Floor in Tower 2, the suite directly faces the vibrant blue Pacific Ocean and Waikiki Beach, allowing guests to enjoy the relaxing and peaceful ocean views from the living room, bedroom, kitchen, and lanai.

SUPPLIES: The suite comes with towels, linens, basic supplies, a First-Aid Kit, board games, sand toys, mats, beach towels, snorkel and masks sets.

CONDO RESORT AMENITIES:

The Waikiki Banyan's recreation deck on the 6th floor offers a large pool, two jet spas, sauna, barbeque grills, children's playground, putting green, tennis court, and basketball half-court, as well as a take-out snack bar that offers traditional American foods and healthy entrees.

At the lobby level is the Banyan Breeze, an Internet Café that offers all-day light fare dining as well as coffee, smoothies, and dessert.

An onsite Mini-Mart allows guests to purchase a variety of grocery items, cooking ingredients, food, snacks, supplies, and personal sundries.

LAUNDRY:

Each floor has a coin-operated washing machine and dryer located in the laundry room just a few steps down the hall for your convenience.

TRANSPORTATION:

Bus stops are within one block and provide frequent and affordable transportation to all island attractions: the Ala Moana Shopping Center, Ward Center and Movie Complex, the Academy of Fine Arts, Bishop Museum, Iolani Palace, Chinatown, Pearl Harbor and so much more.

We as owners are very pleased with how they continuously keep an eye on things that need to be maintained. Included in these projects are pool improvements, replacements of drain lines, and other repairs in different areas of the property that may require some water shut-offs for a number of hours on certain days. These maintenance schedules are created by the Association and we are not responsible for water shut-offs and closures to the building amenities that need maintenance. This place had everything we wanted. It's only one block from the main Waikiki Beach, very near Kapiolani Park, and has captivating blue ocean views! It's also close to all the attractions we enjoy as a family. With a welcoming tropical lobby, waterfall, and wonderful koi pond, our children love this property, and if you ever get the chance to come stay with us, you'll see why the Waikiki Banyan is an all-time year after year traveler's favorite!

Great Condo Value - Lovely View

Loved the location of this unit - enjoyed the view of water and very easy walk to beach. Enjoyed sitting on the Lanai in the morning, absorbing the view and drinking our coffee. Also liked the quieter end of Waikiki, super easy to get to freeway access, Safeway, Leonards Baker & Kono's for Kahlua Pork. Unit is next door to laundry room so was very easy to keep up with beach wear when we got in after our activities (yet we never heard any noise). Free parking is a great benefit (just head straight up to 4th floor to always get a good spot, spaces are tight and we were glad to have a Toyota Corolla.) Beds were very comfortable, granddaughter slept on the pullout couch & was ok. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, with good set of pots and pans & utensils. The Tommy Bahama beach umbrella and chairs were wonderful to have, plus small beach cooler with blue ice. The unit was very clean and we had enough linen/towels for the three of us. Dolly provided easy instructions and info. Excellent value and we would love to stay again . . .

A very understated, amazing, totally complete gem

I was looking for a condo for my group of 3, each of whom slept in a separate bed. That eliminated 75% the units in Waikiki right off the bat. It was impossible to find a unit with 3 beds and free parking, but this unit has two full beds, a Queen pullout bed and free covered, 24-hour attended parking.

I wanted a unit with a complete kitchen, not just a microwave, because I like to cook. I'm also a clean freak who lives in a very quiet neighborhood, so I wanted a clean, well-maintained, quiet unit. Dolly's condo seemed to fit the bill, so I went back and forth with her, asking many questions. Dolly wrote back in a timely, thoughtful manner and I loved that fact that her responses addressed every question and concern I had very candidly in a way that expressed her sincere desire to represent her condo accurately and to accommodate our requests.

When we arrived, every little detail was spelled out for us in Emails from Dolly, as well as in a book that she left for us on the entry table. Her condo was immaculate and so complete that I was stunned. I expected to have to buy consumables, but she even included suntan lotions, many types of kitchen bags, foil, wrap, soaps, everything I could have asked for. There was also a delicious box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts waiting for us.

We stayed for two weeks, so we had to do laundry and clean. Dolly's condo included two vacuum cleaners, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, bleach, and laundry instructions (the laundry room is nearby and is available at most times).

When it came time for the beach, I was again shocked because Dolly had provided 4 beach chairs (2 of which are Tommy Bahama backpack chairs), an umbrella, 2 boogie boards, fins and masks for snorkeling, and 3 beach towels. There were two First Aid kits, extra blankets, a scale (allowing us to fill our luggage to exactly 50# so we could take gifts home for friends), everything and anything you would have in a complete home.

The view was great. The entire building is well maintained and runs like a well oiled machine. The 6th floor has an exercise room (which we never used because we go to a serious gym, so I can't comment on that), as well as a gigantic pool with huge decks, 2 hot tubs and many gas BBQ grills. The pool is large and outdoors and never crowded. They drain the hot tubs and clean the BBQ grills daily, and there is always ample room for a group to sit outside.

DOLLY AND HER CONDO ARE SIMPLY AMAZING!

Great unit, Great Service

Our family comes to Hawaii every year and this was the third time we rented a unit at the Waikiki Banyan and it was the best unit so far.

The amenities were very useful including the wifi, beach chairs, parasol and snorkeling gear.

The beds and furniture were comfortable.

The views are awesome.

The hard floors made it easy for cleaning the sand when coming back from the beach.

The laundry room is right next door which was convenient since we have small kids and were doing wash every day.

The electronic door lock was great - never have to worry about losing a key.

And Dolly was very kind - she knew what time our flight was coming in and send us a text when we arrived to ask if we wanted to check in early since the unit was open - as we were coming in from an international flight with two small kids that was a huge help.

Also, I had lost my credit card during my travel and Dolly was very helpful in providing the support to get my new card delivered to the management office so we could enjoy the rest of our vacation with no stress.

We enjoy the Waikiki Banyan as is offers great public amenities including the tennis court, kids play area, pool/hottubs and bbq grills. All with only a block away from the beach.

For those traveling with children, I highly recommend the Waikiki Banyan as all the units are 1BD with full kitchen which is a great help to manage your meals - you dont have to go out for every meal, make reservations, wait in lines etc. There are several ABC convenience stores within a couple minutes walk to get your staples like bread, juice and milk and there is also a large grocery store about 10 minutes walk from the building.

We hope to be able to stay at Dolly's unit again next time we come to Hawaii.

Home away from Home.

Our family holiday in January 2017 staying at Dolly's condo was just fantastic!!

The location was perfect very close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The condo is nicely decorated with new furniture , spacious and very clean, well equipped with everything required.

The beds were very comfortable which was a bonus. It is a very sunny condo and the ocean views are amazing. Dolly supplied us with beach towels as well as lots of clean bath towels. Wi-fi and parking space was fantastic as we hired a car for 10 days.

Dolly was very responsive if we required anything.

Thank you so much for a very enjoyable and stress free stay in your condo and we would recommend it to anyone who was thinking of staying in Waikiki.

Hopefully we will be back again soon.

Great view but needs updating

I have stayed at the Waikiki banyan several times before, but this is my first time staying in this unit. While the view is amazing, the interior definitely need some updating. Four instance the beds were pretty uncomfortable and that includes the pullout sleeper sofa. The kitchen supplies should definitely be upgraded, the pans provided were of poor quality and made it hard to cook even simple breakfast. The pans were warped and did not sit evenly on electric stove top. Will teturn to Banyan but I may chose a different unit.

Owner's Response: Dear Cristyn, I'm sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the beds, kitchen utensils, and pans. I will be sure to review all these items over. With regards to the beds, the two main beds were just changed in 2014. Unfortunately with beds, it's hard to get a perfect fit for all, each person has a different preference to what type of bed they prefer (firm, soft, middle) and comfort is quite subjective. I'm very sorry that the unit's beds did not match your preference. I do understand this was an important part of your stay. Sofa beds are known not to be the most comfortable, and I do tell my guests about lowering their expectations when it comes to using a sofa bed if they ask me about it. Since there were just 2 registered guests in your party, I didn't think you had a need for the sofa bed since there were enough beds for you and your friend Kelly. The unit has just also been updated with new flooring and upholstery in March 2016. I hope you were able to appreciate that in the unit. The kitchen items are easily replaced and I do check on them periodically and change them as needed. In our 6 years of business, I have not had any issues with the pans. The welcome letter had all my contact phone numbers and requests that you let me know if you were dissatisfied with anything. I live only 12 minutes away and could have delivered you a new set of pans and whatever else you needed to make your stay perfect. It's very important to me that my guests enjoy their stay and I would have more than happy to address all of your concerns during your stay had I known of them. I encourage you to communicate your concerns in your future travels as you'll find that most hosts/owners will do all they possibly can for their guests to be comfortable and happy. A reservation deposit of $300 is required to secure your dates. Availability is subject to change until you have placed your deposit. Please note that to be fair to all travelers we cannot hold the unit until we receive a deposit. This reservation deposit converts in to a security deposit upon your arrival and is fully refundable within 14 days of your departure from the unit provided that the rental agreement has been fulfilled and there are no damages in the unit.

The reservation/security deposit will be considered the first payment and the full balance of the rent, taxes and cleaning fee will be considered the second payment. The reservation/security deposit of $300 will not be applied to the rent due, but is fully refundable after you depart the unit as per fulfillment of the rental agreement and there are no damages to the unit.

If your arrival date is less than 30 days at the time of your booking, the full payment is due in addition to the refundable security deposit of $300.
