Perfect location!

We loved our stay here! Walking distance to everything and very clean. The porch has a great view overlooking the town and it was nice to sit out there at night and in the mornings. There was a lot of space and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other (6 adults, 2 teens). We will be staying here again for sure!

Idyllic stay at a home that became ‘a happy place ‘for us also. More charming than even described.

A women’s travel group from Dallas, we each had our own comfortable bedroom The owners gave a list and summary of every major restaurant ,shop, store and excursion we might consider or need. We started and ended the day on the beautiful porch overlooking the inlet. The evenings were spent at restaurants or playing cards. There is attention to detail in every aspect of the home. You can walk easily through dock square and lower Village. Bikes are available also. I’m so glad we chose this special loving home and the owners chose to share it.

Perfect family vacation

We we 6 adults and 4 kids. We could have not asked for a more accommodating place with everything we needed. We did something different everyday in the area. Can’t say enough. 10 stars if we could.

Beautiful, Clean, Perfect Location

Our family of 10 enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room. The home is in a perfect location that you can walk to almost everything. The homeowner gives you 3 beach passes which is a great asset. If you stay in the third floor bedroom, please be aware that there are skylights and you will be awake when the sun comes up. The kitchen and dining room have every thing you need, you may just have to look for it. The only problem was that there was no room for the groceries that we brought. We used a small table in the living room to set them on. Overall, we loved the house, the porch, the family time, and our time in Kennebunk and Kennebunkport. We would definitely recommend this home.

Fantastic home

What a beautiful home! We were 6 adults and 1 infant and we had everything we needed . This is a very spacious home and so well decorated. The location is also perfect, right before Kennebunk Port’s bridge. We would go back without hesitation anytime.

beautifully maintained, comfortable house in center of kennybunport

Together with my family of 6, spent a week in Bluebrier. It's beautifully maintained, comfortable and tastefully furnished house in the center of Kennybunkport. Everything is in optimal order. There was no item in the kitchen or elsewhere that we needed and did not find. The hosts were friendly and responded promptly to the few questions that did arise. This is one of the best of the many vrbo/homeaway properties that I have rented over 20 years.

Perfect

We absolutely loved the house!! There were 10 of us and plenty of room for everyone. The area was beautiful and lots to do. I would highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

Summer Break

Wanted to Bluebrier is Kennebunkport was better than advertised. A gorgeous home within easy walking distance to shops and many wonderful restaurants. The back porch overlooked the harbor. Perfect for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening.. The place is within easy walking distance to the beach. Have stayed in a number of very nice vacation homes over the years. The Bluebrier was perfect!

Our stay at the Bluebrier was amazing for our group of adults and small children. The layout is great for families, the house is well-stocked with everything you need for cooking, and the location is in perfect proximity to the beach and town. We'd love to come back!

Terrific stay in August

The Bluebrier was ideally located and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Perfect size for two families of five. Plenty of room to lounge inside and outside the house when we weren’t at the beach or in town. We made good use of all the amenities, from the bikes to the lobster pots. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Bluebrier

The home has clearly been loved by the family. Incredibly well located and the multiple levels make it great for hosting couples and those with young ones. Also the best stocked house from a kitchen standpoint that we have stayed at. Perfect for those who love to cook and enjoy meals together. Definitely be back and highly recommend!

Fabulous House in a Fabulous Location

My extended family and I spent a week in Bluebrier in July 2019. It was the perfect house in a perfect location to enjoy everything that Kennebunk/port has to offer. I love to cook, and I have rented many vacation homes, but this one had the best equipped kitchen by far. Everything you could need, though you may need to search to find what you’re looking for. I suggest you survey every cupboard in the kitchen and dining room as soon as you arrive. The five-burner gas grill is the best I’ve ever used. Our nephew and niece stayed with us with their two-year-old, and the third floor suite was perfect for them (but they did have to run out and buy a baby monitor), and they so enjoyed spending every morning at the playground beach in town. This may have been my best vacation ever, and much of the credit goes to Bluebrier. Thank you so very much to Sherry and Steve for sharing your beautiful house!

Great week in KPT

Beautiful, clean and the location is perfect. Quick walk to town or the beach. Our group of 10 with six teenagers/young adults enjoyed the accommodations. Sherry was very helpful.The only downside was the warmer than expected temperatures :).

The home was warm, comfortable, well decorated with plenty of room for all. It’s in a great location, within a sort walk of many fine restaurants, shops and sights. Kennebunk and Kennebunkport are wonderful communities!

Bluebrier - Wonderful family retreat

Our family had a wonderful week in early August 2018 at Bluebrier. My wife and I took the bedroom on the main floor, the second floor with three bedrooms was perfect for one son, his spouse and three children ages 12, 9 and 9. The kids used the television in the living room on that floor and played games. Our other son and his spouse took the large bedroom and bath on the top floor. The nicest part of the home is the huge back porch overlooking the harbor. It faced east giving some morning sun and afternoon shade. The two Adirondack chairs in the lovely backyard provided a nice place to enjoy a refreshment in a quiet place while still enjoying the wonderful view of the harbor. The location is outstanding. It was just a short walk to the grocery, wonderful restaurants, shops and the center of activity in Kennebunk and Kennebunkport. The owners of this fine home have gone over the top to make it a welcoming vacation home for their guests. Of the many homes we have rented through the years, this was by far the best equipped ever. The cupboards were full of first class cookware and dishes. There were six bicycles, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and assorted equipment for our use. Bluebrier is welcoming whether curling up with a good book or as a base for day adventures to the beach, neighboring villages or Portland. Our concierge, Helen, started texting me an hour or two before we arrived arranging keys, etc. and was very responsive to any questions we had. She is a partner in HB Provisions the nearby grocery. One evening we just wanted to stay in for dinner and purchased a great lasagna and Caesar salad from her store.

Spectacular!!! 10 stars!!!

There are not enough accolades for me to properly express how much we loved staying at beautiful Bluebrier! This house is amazing and the location is unbeatable. You can walk to everything! It is absolutely immaculate, furnished beautifully, and stocked with everything you could ever possibly need, and more. Sherry was super in communication, and Helen, the concierge was readily available, if needed. Sitting on the front porch overlooking the river was my favorite spot! Relaxation washes over you the moment you step into this very lovingly cared for home. And the blueberry pie waiting for us to arrive was a really welcome treat! We were a group of 10 and there was plenty of space for everyone to be extremely comfortable. None of us wanted to go home!! I would HIGHLY recommend this property, and can't wait to visit again. Sherry and Bill - thank you so much for sharing your fabulous Bluebrier with us - it truly is a treasure!!

Great house and location

Wonderful place to vacation

We vacation in Kennebunkport every year and this is our favorite house. It is clean and comfortable - an absolutely lovely place to say. We certainly will be back.

Great Location...Well Equipped..Great Experience!

Couldn't of Asked for More

Thank you so much Sherry for providing such an amazing vacation. If you're interested in this property, pack lightly because everything you can think of is already provided at this beautiful home. From lobster platters to washing machines; everything is available in the property. The location is awesome, a 2 minute walk right into town, or a mile stroll to the beach. We loved the layout that afforded quieter experiences for the adults, while still giving the kids room to spread out. Helen the house manager was super helpful in providing local recommendations and was 'on-call' if there was anything else we might need. (which was nothing!) It's always a bit nerve wracking renting a home when you only have pictures to go by; however this was an easy decision and an even easier experience. Thanks again and so hope to make it back next year!

Fantastic

This was a great experience for family. The house was beautiful, clean, and the best stocked home I have ever stayed at. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. I am an avid cook and there was nothing that I needed that I did not find in the kitchen. I felt like I was staying in my own home with all the amenities one could want. The location was perfect - just minutes from Dock Square. We rode the bikes to the beach and even had a Barbara Bush sighting. Our choice for lobster was the Port Lobster Company where you can pick up your steamed lobsters ($8.00 for a 1-1/2 pound lobster) and take them back to the Bluebrier where you will find everything you need to devour them. The Tia restaurant - just minutes from the Bluebrier was a great place to eat. Also enjoyed David's restaurant on Ocean Street for several meals. We went to Hannafords a short 10 minute ride away for groceries. I would definitely recommend this home to friends and family.
