Beautiful open floor plan with 25 foot ceilings, floor to ceiling large windows to view the private river setting while sitting on the living rooms sofas. Quiet place, the old Florida to relax and view the wildlife, otters, herrings, eagles, deer, manatees, possibly an alligator,owls and hawks. Outdoor decks with tables and chairs, large umbrella to view the river or relax in the hammock. Kayaks and canoe for our guests to explore the winding Manatee River with access to the Gulf of Mexico. Approximately 5 miles to the Interstate highway to travel to Tampa or Sarasota. Numerous shops at the University Town Center shopping mall and many restaurants. Gulf of Mexico beaches on Anna Maria Island or Long Boat Key with Eateries on the waterfront. Guests love the quiet setting, yet close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment, outdoor activities, golfing and fishing. Fully equipped kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, coffee makers, utensils, blender, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, ice maker, garbage disposal, range and oven, steam washer and dryer. The guests love the luxurious king bed and linens. Beautiful outside landscape lighting to accent the large oak trees.

It was a very peaceful setting with a scenic river a few feet away. The house was well-appointed and quite comfortable. The owner was a nice guy who was easily accessible if need be.

Lovely river hideaway!

It’s a lovely property that is well appointed with kitchen supplies and linens, is clean, and has comfortable beds. Location is a nice combination of seclusion and close enough to shopping making it convenient for excursions or running out for groceries.

Very Relaxing

The accommodations were excellent. This is a very beautiful home. I loved the tranquility of being along the Manatee river. Note: While I stayed for the month of January, my 2 daughters came and visited for just 3 nights.

Beautiful place to stay and the owners are extremely accommodating. We had an issue with the internet but it was fixed as soon as it was possible.You will love this house and all the surroundings!!!

We were in town to race at Bradenton Motorsports Park. This home was clean and the beds were comfortable. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the home & river.

Great Property

House with lot of riverfront property. Nice deck on three sides of house to sit and enjoy serene river. Interior is as good, better than most, of the many rentals I have stayed in. Would definitely recommend.

We are regular VBRO "travelers" and will rate this home as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The house was exceptionally clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home. Beautiful peaceful view with a lot of outdoor activities. Communication was perfect and we highly recommend this house. We surely will be booking the house in the future for family and friends visiting from out of town.

Beautiful home

Cabin like feel right on the river. Very comfortable rooms. Master is a lovely open loft with additional pull out separated by a bookshelf. Plenty of board games and dvds. Guests should be sure to bring anything they need for the kitchen and bathrooms including sponges and soap. And be sure to bring oil and read up on cooking with stainless steel as all pots and pans are stainless steel which takes some knowledge and finesse. Overall very nice stay!

I celebrated my 50th birthday with family and close friends and had a fabulous time. The home was the perfect venue. It was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The home overlooks the river which is so beautiful and serene. I especially loved sitting outside in the mornings listening to the owls and birds. Was sad to leave.

Peaceful retreat on the river.

Peaceful, quiet spot on a tributary of the Manatee River. The house was very clean. My wife is extremely picky, and had no problems with it. The exterior of the house could use a little work, and the deck needs a little help, but the interior was well furnished, well-maintained and very clean. The owner was having some work done on an out-structure, so there was a little bit of noise from that. Did not bother us too much.

Nice, relaxing getaway

Our family of 5 stayed here and it was a perfect little getaway. The house was plenty spacious for us, each of the three rooms have king beds, the kitchen is fully stocked with silverware, pots and pans and spatulas, a keurig coffee maker as well as regular coffee pot. There is a grill as well as a Blackstone griddle outside. The river was peaceful and a fun spot to fish and kayak. We saw several manatee, alligator garr, turtles and one curious small alligator (probably heard the poppers in the water and came to check it out). Overall, it was a nice, comfortable stay. We highly recommend this Rambling River Retreat if you are looking for a quiet place to get away.

PEACEFUL/ PRIVATE GET AWAY WITH BEAUTIFUL DAYTIME VIEWS OVERLOOKING THE WATER!!

After searching for months for a place to bring in my 50th, this house stood out to me like a sore thumb it was the perfect house for what I wanted for my Birthday. I am Washington Dc native &now reside in Bradenton and didn't want 2 travel far for my milestone BD, as I already live in Paradise and wanted my girlfriends 2 come CELEBRATE W/ME WHILE GETTTING a taste of my new Floridian life! So, If your looking for a private, spacious, peaceful getaway then this is the Perfect Property 4u! This cute cabin-like house has amazing daytime views throughout the house overlooking the water. Pics are accurate, what you see is what you get. The house has a full deck around it that's up high& far enough away from the water to get pics of a gator sighting or 2 or of the FRIENDLY folks PASSING thru the lake/river in their boats, canoes, kayak's waving hello which added a bonus experience & a level of excitement 2 our time there. ( 5WOMEN IN TOTAL) we stayed for 3nights slept comfortably & had plenty of room/ privacy 2 step away for calls, sleep, & rest when needed. Wylan was a great host, I booked months b4 my stay & whenever I had questions ( & trust me I had a lot lol ) He was responsive the entire time, lenient, easy to talk to & also allowed me to get a 2lane 24' waterslide for the yard. Although his residence is on the property there is enough space between houses where you will still have your privacy amongst your group. We were able to enjoy our time & space without any interruptions from the owners. The loft bedroom (where I slept of course) is the best!!! And can easily sleep 5 alone with the extra couch up there. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, beds had clean linen, bathrooms were modern, had plenty of towels& wash cloths & A FEW NEGATIVES WERE : 1- The DECK & LANSCAPING could use some UPKEEP 2- The PILLOWS had a FEW STAINS on them up in the loft bedrm & in1 of the dwnstrs bdrms... I always bring my own pillows/pillowcases anyway since I'm a little OCD so that was an easy fix. 3-It gets EXTREMELY DARK @NIGHT outside so the deck cld be a lot brighter. Luckily, I had plenty of flashlights/ candles 2lighten up the deck because, U are outside with Fl. WILDLIFE so its NECESSARY to see your surroundings @ NIGHT! ONLY NEGATIVE 4 peeps w/walkng or health issues: LOTS OF NARROW STEPS outside to enter & going up 2 the loft bedrm! All in All Such a lovely stay & A Beautiful Birthday! I HIGHLY RECOMMENED& would DEF STAY AGAIN!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The place was everything that was advertised. The host was very good. There were a few small issues but the host was most helpful and all was resolved quickly. Some small improvements should be made to make this place a true premier choice. I talked to the host about ideas and he was most accepting and promised to look into it. If the changes are made we would RETURN for sure. The serenity of this place is unique and brings a much appreciated tranquility. Shopping, golf, restaurants, all near by and great. We highly recommend it if you like quiet time.

Quiet, relaxing riverfront home with room for large family

This is a beautiful home with a wonderful view of the river. It feels far off from 'civilization' but it's close to whatever you need. We enjoyed watching the birds on the river and kayaking. It was perfect for our large family with plenty of room inside and out. We appreciated the abundance of towels.

Great House and Stay

Our group loved the house, the scenery, the quietness of the location. The beds were incredibly comfortable, probably the best I’ve ever slept in away from home. Bathrooms and kitchen were top notch. We were there to play in a Soccer Tourney at Premier Sports Park and the location was perfect. We had a question and a request during our stay and it was quickly addressed and resolved. I highly recommend this property!
