The back deck overlooks the smoky mountains including the famous Mount LeConte and downtown Gatlinburg.

PLEASE NOTE! The cabin is on newly refinished roadway with a manageable concrete driveway. We do have lights positioned to assist you in the dark.

PLEASE NOTE: Please note this is a smoke-free property (any smoking results in a $250 fine). No parties are allowed (even small groups) and no loud noise after 10 pm to not disturb neighbors. No animals are allowed due to severe animal allergies in our family.

Other things to note:

The chalet cabin has FAST 200 Meg internet. Most major cell phone companies get service.

All persons Must be 25 or older to stay here without a guardian!

The chalet cabin sleeps 5 adults and 2 kids and/or 4 adults and 3 kids comfortably. Or a combination of. Check with us for larger-sized families or groups.
We do not offer late check out or early check-in. If by chance we can accommodate, there will be a $50 charge per.

The chalet cabin is in the woods you will see and hear critters.
As with all chalet cabins in the area the fireplace is shut down April 1 - October 1.

For the gas fireplace, all you need to do is turn white timer knob to start the fire. It will automatically turn off after 60 minutes.

There is a charcoal grill outside.

Please message us before booking more than 6 people so we can help you figure out your sleeping arrangements to make sure it will work for your family.
The hot tub is for guests 25 and over only. Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Pets are NOT allowed. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged an additional $175 and be asked to leave.
Absolutely no fires! Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $50 plus damages

Cozy and in a great location

Our family enjoyed the stay at this cozy house. The owner is very communicative. The house was nice and clean when we arrived. It's super close to Gatlinburg downtown, but also quiet and private.

Perfect mountain cabin experience in the heart of Gatlinburg!!!

I cannot rave enough about this place. If you’re looking to be in the middle of the Gatlinburg action, yet get the quiet comforts of a mountainside cabin, this place has done it! We were several minutes from the Gatlinburg scene, even hiked waterfalls within mere miles, yet got to have quiet mornings sipping our coffees on the deck overlooking the town and mountain range. Comfy king beds and perfect shower pressure! Simple luxuries that made our stay top notch. The hot tub was just an added bonus, as we relaxed and watched fireflies every night. Our hosts were the best I’ve ever experienced with communication and you could definitely tell the sincerity of making your trip perfect for us. Thank you Roy & Greg for making our first Gatlinburg experience one for the books!

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. It was the perfect peaceful getaway, and the amenities (especially the hot tub) made it feel extra special. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to relax and unwind. The hosts were fantastic, very responsive to any messages we had and provided a ton of helpful information about the area, which made our trip even smoother. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time to enjoy it all! We’re already looking forward to coming back.

Perfect little spot!

These guys are great hosts and the location was fantastic!! We were looking for a cabin that wasn’t too expensive and not up high on a winding and scary road- this place hits the mark!!! The views are wonderful and the location is co convenient to everything we wanted to do!

Christmas 2024

This was our 1st Christmas in the Smokies and we will definitely be back!!! We enjoyed our stay and visits to down town Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! The cabin is nice just kind up a mountain and if that’s something you’re not used to it can be a bit scary. Has amazing views of the city below!!

Great location

We visited the week of New Years with 2 adults and 4 teenagers. We were able to avoid vehicle traffic by walking the .6 miles down the hill to the main Gatlinburg stretch (it spit us out right at the aquarium). The hill is no joke, though—going down also meant walking back up, and it is not made for pedestrians so I would not recommend walking it with young kids, strollers/wagons/etc. The house has the basics plus lots of sleeping options—two bedrooms, two sleeper sofas, and another sofa. The pool table and hot tub were great additions. The owners were quick to respond. We had a fun week.

Great Spot

Lovely cabin with beautiful views, great for families! We were greeted the first night with a giant rainbow over Gatlinburg- so cool! The cabin was the perfect size for our family and well maintained with lots of family-friendly activities throughout the house for downtime. Just the right distance to all activities and restaurants yet quiet and secluded on the hillside. Highly recommended for your Gatlinburg adventures!!!

Smoky Road trip

We stayed at Roy and Greg's for three nights as part of a road trip with our three kids. The space was perfect for us and the kids loved the pool table and we loved having a washer and dryer. The location was perfect -- super close to town and a great launching pad for the National Park.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay very much at this cabin. The place was so easy to get to. It had everything you would want for a quick trip to the mountains. Love the ability to get to places through the main drag or by going through the bypass. I would definitely recommend folks to stay at this place. Being a techie as well I love that fact they have smart TVs in each room and excellent WiFi speed and coverage so I didn’t miss a beat with things back home or with family back home. My only recommendation would be for there to be non slip Mats placed in the showers. Things can get pretty slick when getting into the tub. You will not be disappointed if you stay here with your family. With the sleeper sofa you could easily have 6 folks stay comfortably in this cabin and not feel like you are on top of each other.

Cozy and convenient

Great simple rental home with very easy drive to downtown. Very clean and owners were attentive and responsive. Some neighboring property's upkeep detract from the views a little, but given its location this didn't bother us.

Great property!

We loved staying at this home! It was exactly as described in the listing. Beautiful views with super close proximity to Gatlinburg. We were blessed with picture perfect weather so we were not in the home that much, but we made use of the pool table and the hot tub several times. Sitting on the porch taking in the views was a great way to start the mornings before we took off. Other reviews mentioned the driveway and it's definitely something us Midwesterners are not used to, but it's manageable. At night, there are lights along the edge which were incredibly helpful. It is best to approach from the town side (traveling up hill) rather than through the bypass (downhill), because of the angle. I always just set Waze to get us to Anakeesta so it didn't make any last minute changes to the back way. From Anakeesta, it's right up Greystone Heights Road (at the Aquarium). When you decide to go to Gatlinburg, just drive the 5 minutes down the hill and park right in the garage there. We walked from there to everything we wanted to check out! Roy and Greg checked in a couple of times and were quick to respond. Very pleasant to deal with!

Terrible Experience due to bad basic customer service and human decency

Summary of the stay: It didn’t happen Background: Our large family has been coming to GAT from the day after Christmas through NYE every year for 20+ years. Rain. Ice. Snow. Nothing has stopped us with the exception of the huge fire that claimed our rental and many others in GAT. We understand disaster/accidents happen and the owner of the fire cabin kept us in the loop daily, and some days almost hourly. Compare that to our “stay” here. We get the check-in email at exactly 8am. Check-in was 4pm. We leave soon after 8am for our 7 hour drive. 2 hours into our drive with two family we get this message signed by the owners: Hello I wanted to update you and let you know we found out our chalet has been affected by the extreme cold that came through the area and we are having to do some repairs. The cabin will not be available for the night 2 to 3 nights. Please let me know if you would like to modify the stay and we can try to help you find a place for the next two to three nights and once we are done you can keep the remaining few nights of the reservations. Alternatively you can cancel completely but it does appear places are in short demand. We are so sorry. GandR We were on a stretch of interstate with bad internet and responded to their text and VRBO message asking for them to call us as the typos don’t make it clear and we needed their help to find a new place. An hour late an owner doesn’t call, rather someone who said they were a family member and they knew very little and were sorry but they didn’t have any authority. I again asked for an owner to call me and they said they would try. “TRY”. I thought that was weird but to this day after 5+ requests via VRBO/SMS and the verbal above, I still have not had an owner or anyone call me to discuss/help. I was told they would help us find lodging. That consisted of them sending us one VRBO link to a cabin twice the price that wasn’t in GAT, and get this, was already booked. That’s it. That’s the help they offered and gave. I messaged them asking if it was ready since they apparently forgot about us and they had the gall to inform me the rental would be ready on 1/2/2023, the day after we were supposed to leave. What a coincidence. It was ready only after we left. The place may be nice, but we never saw it beyond the drive by we did and we say no work trucks. What I can tell you is the owners provided worse customer service than Walmart or the Post Office. AVOID THEM!

Quiet retreat in the midst of busy Gatlinburg

Chalet was comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub and the view of Gatlinburg. The cabin is on a curvy mountain road with lots of hairpin turns. The driveway is steep but adequate. Our teenagers enjoyed the pool table. A nice stay!

I came with my 2 grandkids, my son & wife later with a dog. He was told no pets. Revs. canl. for all

The experience was a nightmare, haven't been with my grandkids in 2 yrs. The 1st morning I took everyone including the dam dog (that I told my son not to bring) to the top of the Smokies to Cherokee. While eating lunch around 2:00pm I was checking my emails to find a notice of cancelation for the cabin. Due to bad cell signal I could not communicate with the property owner at that time. Why didn't they allow me to send my son & dog off the property & allow me & grangkids to stay & finish out our visit? Also there were 3 cameras watching every move we made, that was creepy that made us uncomfortable!

Funds produced go towards paying for house and maintenance, and anything left over is put back into the Airbnb community through our own travels.
