Fantastic neighborhood, walk to the beach, would definitely stay again
We stayed here for five nights with my sister‘s family. The cottage is very charming like the photos. Having the little carriage house for my daughter and her cousin to stay in was a lifesaver. It was actually so nice to have the teenagers away from everyone with all their messes in late nights. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and I even let my kids go play at the park with their teenage sister and I felt fine about it. We thought we would always drive to the beach because of the many flights of stairs required to access it, but we ended up never driving once. It really wasn’t that bad. You’ll have to take about 150 stair steps in total to get from the home to the beach. The kids did fine with it. We just made sure everyone had gone to the bathroom before leaving the house! It’s a very nice beach, never crowded. The kitchen was more than adequate for our needs and we cooked for the kids several nights. As far as cleanliness goes, no issues, except a few hairs in each of the bathrooms. The master toilet seat was not attached to the toilet so that was a little bit tricky, but I let management know so hopefully that should be fixed. One other thing to note is that the fireplace is connected to the thermostat and will turn on and off depending on the temperature. It freaked us out a little bit thinking one of the kids was turning it on. Overall, excellent property, perfect cute little neighborhood with walkable coffee and great beach access.
