About this property

Charming cottage on the water with beautiful views

This beautiful cottage overlooking Long Pond is the perfect place to be for that true New England experience. Quiet and serene right on the water with amazing sunrises! Take a little trip and see for yourself.

The property is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Swimming, boating and fishing are all allowed on Long Pond. You have beach access directly from the front of property Feel free to bring your kayaks, paddle boards, canoe or fishing poles along with you for your stay! We have a grill on patio for use to guests and also a fire pit on property overlooking the water for those who enjoy a nostalgic night with a campfire with friends and family. Come and make some memories! You'll truly love it here!

The cottage has Wifi/Xfinity Xumo streaming boxes with Now Tv,Two flat screen televisions with Dvd players/Vcr Central Air conditioning.. Kitchen with all the utensils plates pans etc.. Linens and towels are all provided as well! We do have well water here so I do like to recommend bringing bottled water and ice along with you!

If your going to be doing any day trips exploring New England this is a great landing spot also, Because you literally can travel in any direction and Its not really that far at all to most destinations. Some of the places most traveled this time of year would be Wrentham Outlets, Plymouth, Newport RI etc! Just send me a message or call if you need any recommendations for restaurants, Hiking spots, etc!

We have a little bit of everything which gives you a lot of options during your stay. Enjoy!

Adorable Cottage

We had a quick weekend getaway to this cottage. If you are looking for a relaxing lake vacation this is the place to stay. If we ever come back to the area I would love to stay here again. I wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect little cottage, beautiful views, great host and neighbors.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time staying here. Very clean! The bed was the most comfortable bed we’ve slept in of all the places we’ve rented. We enjoyed seeing all the ducks, geese, and swans.

Music weekend at Great Woods with phriends

This place is truly magical! During the day, we floated in the lake and chilled at the house. The house is clean and the host is friendly and responsive.

Perfect lakeside cottage

We had a nice, relaxing week at this home away from home on Long Pond. The property is awesome with a well equipped, clean and very comfortable house. Nice sized yard with beautiful landscaping and plenty of shade for sunny days. Our 5 year old had a blast playing in the sand next to the lake and fishing off the dock. The fishing here was phenomenal, plenty of perch, bass, pickerel and sunfish. Very quiet atmosphere yet still minutes away from a grocery store or bait shop and Elliot Farm is right down the street with fresh produce and baked goods. Jessica is a fantastic host who was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. This was our first stay here and we can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I loved this little cottage right on Long Pond. The cottage had everything we needed, had a beautiful view & was conveniently located. The owner with very responsive and easy to communicate with.

A most enjoyable stay.

The cottage was a beautiful house on the large and lovely pond. The house is well-taken care of and extremely comfortable. The owner made the experience easy and enjoyable. The bed is the most comfortable we have ever slept on and I can't say enough about how much we loved our 5-day stay. It is a super pleasant place to stay and located close to the cape, New Bedford and Fall River. My wife would sit in the room with many windows and remark about how she loved the cottage on Long Pond.

Relaxing weekend

The property is perfect for a relaxing weekend by the lake. We got lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the water to the fullest. The dock is great for peaceful lounging if you don't want to get wet. The house is well-equipped and has great views of the water. It's also close to ice cream and a cool farm. The owner is also very easy to communicate with. Lovely stay.

My family had a wonderful time at this cottage. Our first time using vrbo and it did not disappoint. Our family loved it. Jess was great, we were grilling for most of our meals and ran out of propane. She came right away to get us some propane.

Beautiful space on the water. Peaceful, clean and welcoming space and location. Jessica made it easy for us, we had everything we needed to be able to make our stay comfortable. The grill was a great surprise as we cook with one at home.

Meticulously maintained property right on Long Pond

We have stayed at many properties over the past several years and this was one of the best managed and maintained that we have stayed at. Very clean and thoughtfully laid out. Jessica, the owner and host, was great in providing everything we could have needed and being very accommodating. Despite the fact that this is primarily a summer cottage, staying on the pond in winter is very quiet and peaceful -- even on the rainy days. It is also warm and cozy inside. Some city slickers might not be used to well water, septic systems, propane and baseboard heat, and gravel roads, which I was used to growing up in the Lakeville area, but there also is fast WiFi and cable, which we didn't have growing up. In closing, this property is about the same price as a chain hotel suite in the area, but much nicer, quieter and with more room to spread out and relax. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay there during the Christmas holidays and the location was convenient for visiting our family and having some over to hang out with us. This is a true gem of a property and you will likely not be disappointed if you stay there.

Great cabin

Go! Jess is a power host, this cabin is beautiful, comfortable with perfect views. The stress melts away when you sit on the dock with a cocktail after a long day. I will stay here every time I have to go to the office! Thank you Jess for a great week.

Wonderful Stay

This was our first stay at a Vrbo property and it exceeded every expectation we had. The listing was 100% accurate. The location was perfect, beach was clean and perfect for our grandkids. House was impeccable and the host was very approachable and brought extra linens as needed. House is set in a quiet neighborhood, with very friendly neighbors. We look forward to returning.

Relaxing getaway!

Jessica was a great host and process was very easy. Wish we could have spent more time on the property to enjoy all it has to offer. If you enjoy water sports I would suggest bringing your own kayak, paddle board or other floating devices. Hope to make it back again.

Wonderful stay!

The lake front cottage was the perfect location for my girls trip getaway. We enjoyed swimming, cooking on the grill, and relaxing. Jessica was a fantastic host who was always just a text message away if we needed anything!

What makes this property unique

Overall, this cottage was like a second home to me growing up. My aunt purchased the property when I was about seven years old. It was passed down to me (too soon sadly) from my Aunt Jan in 2019. Me and my family shared many great memories at the cottage throughout the years, So I would love for others to have the same experience and enjoy it as much as we all did!
