Cozy Beach House with 270° Spectacular Views

Enjoy your getaway at our elevated beach house, the Fairhaven Seaside Retreat! Named one of Fodor's Top Ten Airbnbs for Socially Distanced Getaways in 2020 for its seclusion, stunning views, and easy access to many of New England's vacation spots, our home is perfect for adventurous vacations, quiet retreats, or remote working.
Our elevated, two floor home features a comfortable interior and 270 degree views that include the Atlantic ocean and a protected state marsh. Enjoy the first floor views while relaxing and reading a book in the living room or cooking a meal in our well-stocked kitchen. Three bedrooms that sleep six are located on the 2nd floor, including a master bedroom with a private deck overlooking Buzzards Bay. On a clear day, you can spot Martha's Vineyard!

Our house is equipped with high speed wifi and one of our bedrooms has a full desk for remote working. The master bedroom also has a small table suitable for a laptop.

Watch a movie or binge your favorite series on our smart TV featuring Netflix, Max, Disney+, AppleTV+, Paramount+, Peacock, PBSKids and Prime Video (other services available with your own login).

A ductless cooling system is located in each room to control AC in the summer. Three Dyson Pure Cool Purifying Fans with HEPA filters are also placed throughout the home for cooling and air filtering when needed.

Guests have access to the small public beach the home overlooks, and the town's private beach via a house beach pass. The public beach and nearby coastline is also a favorite fishing spot for locals and was featured on On The Water as a great place for striper fishing. Beach towels, beach chairs, and beach toys are included. After the beach, use our outdoor shower and use our grill and outdoor dining area to enjoy dinner and roast marshmallows over the firepit in a cozy corner with a view of the marsh.

We stock a pack and play, high chair, stroller & babyproofing supplies for families with toddlers and infants.

There is a full bathroom on the second floor and a half bath on the first. Free laundry is on site for your use.

Our cozy home is also close to local restaurants, grocery stores, and shops.

A Little Bit of Heaven

A fantastic view, a quiet, clean, spacious home at the end of the road, steps from the ocean-what could be better? This: a well-equipped kitchen, responsive hosts, close to many quaint towns, close to bigger beaches with a season pass for entry. I probably cook more than most travelers and was happy to find many items most hosts don’t supply. Can’t wait to re-book for next year!.

Family Memorial Weekend Get A Way

We were impressed with the home, location, and the detail instructions with the Host, Tracy! Communication makes all the difference when renting a VRBO property and Tracy was great with reminders and has an informative Home binder with every detail we would need during our long weekend stay! We also have a condo in SC that we had rented in the past and know how much work it takes to treat STR guests as family. Thanks Tracy!

Thanksgiving Beach house stay

This property was exactly how it is described. Great location, grocery store and restaurants nearby. The view was amazing. I love the balconies and view of the beach. Our older kids stayed out on the beach building sand castles while we cooked lunch and could easily keep an eye on them from the beach house. Perfect size for a family of 4. Nice large smart TV with plenty of apps got to watch the Macy's Thanksgivings Day Parade on Peacock. Easy access and instructions for checkin/checkout. We travel and have stayed at a lot of cabins/houses and this one is definitely in our top list would stay here again.

Beautiful views cozy home

We stayed here as middle place for Newport and Boston! The views were stunning! The beach access is incredible even in winter! The kids loved collecting shells and all the games the house offered. We didn’t have a great time with the indoor stairs- they are very slippery resulting in falls and near misses. Some of the furniture was falling apart like the tv stand, but the couches and beds were cozy! They had everything you could ever need in the kitchen and provided toiletries which was excellent since we forgot lotion! The wrap around decks were amazing and let the kids get off some energy! We would stay again if needed! All of the little things they thought of made it homey and worth another stay!

Amazing views

You just can’t beat the views with this property. It was so nice just to be able to walk down to the beach, or walk along the marsh, whenever you wanted to. The rooms were comfortable and the house had everything you need. As a bonus, there are two fantastic playgrounds within 5 minutes of the house and a shopping center that has everything you need

Family paradise!

This house has everything you can imagine you may need! Family beach home in a welcoming town with endless adventures. I highly recommend this property. The owners were friendly and had excellent communication throughout the entire process of booking, check in, the stay & check out! Hoping to make this a yearly tradition 🏖. (Top places to check out: Plymouth, MA - the town & whale watch, as many local seafood restaurants you can get to, New Bedford’s hot spot was Cisco Brewery & the beach right at your fingertips!!!)
