The condo is on the third floor balcony facing south overlooking the mediterainian garden. At almost 1400 square feet, the apartment features 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large sunny living room with balcony. The kitchen holds all the equipment that the hobby chef needs. The large 3D-TV with AppleTV and sound system in the living room and flat screen TVs in both bedrooms provide entertainment. WiFi, air conditioning, washer and dryer are standard.

Within all communities on Siesta Key, Excelsior is one of the best! Due to the mediterranean layout and a 2 week minimum rental period you´ll find no other complex with comparable charm and quiet comfort.
What makes this apartment unique
A very quiet community right on the world known Crescent Beach. Very well maintained, great pools and Jacuzzi's right behind the dunes at the beach but also on the Inracoastal Waterway side. Private beach access, free beach chairs for owners and guests.

Great vocation

Our stay turned out to be great and we enjoyed the unit very much !
All was new and preety interiors !
The kitchen had all you needed ! The only think I would of preferred is stainless steel pots and pans ..
I am very concerned to cook in scratch resistant cook wear as the pots had a lot of scratches ...
This was my only objective !
Otherwise everything was beautiful comfortable and great !
We lived the beach and it was a short 10 min walk across the the blvd .. And certainly loved the sand and the gulf side !
You do have to rent cabanas on the beach if you want shade .. Add on $25 per day ..
Which are very comfortable and nice to have a shady spot .
We hope to be back again!

Wir sind wie immer sehr zufrieden mit der Wohnung! Perfekt gelegen und super ausgestattet!
Wunderschön renovierte Ferienwohnung am #1 Beach Siesta Key
Dieses Apartment in einer typisch amerikanischen, sehr gepflegten Anlage, vermittelt sofort das Gefühl von Heim als auch Urlaubsdomizil. Die stilvolle Renovierung ist bis ins Detail wunderbar gelungen und wir haben uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl gefühlt. Pool als auch Strand (nur einmal über die Straße) sind bequem zu erreichen. Durch das Office vor Ort hatte man auch jederzeit einen Ansprechpartner. Besser geht es kaum - 5 von 5 Sternen :)
Wir waren sehr angetan von der Wohnung.
Größe, Zustand und Ausstattung der Wohnung entsprach voll unseren Erwartungen. Ebenso waren die bereitgestellten Informationen zur Anreise und zur Übernahme der Wohnung sehr hilfreich. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch die Verwaltung der Anlage war ebenfalls tadellos. Die Lage der Wohnanlage ist super, da man direkten Zugang zum Strand von Siesta Key hat. Auch ist es nicht weit zu Siesta Village, wo man eine Vielzahl von Restaurants und Geschäften findet. Sollten wir Sarasota wieder einmal besuchen, werden wir die Wohnung gern wieder buchen.

Prima Bäder, prima Möbel, prima Condo!
Privatstrand, 2 Whirlpools, 2 Schwimmbäder.
Selbst Beachwear wie Schwimmnudeln und Sonnenschirme sind da!
Man merkt, dass - anders als bei vielen US-Wohnungen vor Ort - der Vermieter die Wohnung nicht nur als Investment sieht, sondern auch selbst nutzt.
PS3-Spiele, gute Büchersammlung, ZWILLING-Henkels-Töpfe usw...... Y
Sehr gut auch, dass eine Grundausstattung an Gewürzen, Zucker, Öl und Essig da sind!
Einfach wieder fair nachkaufen und alle sind glücklich.
Tip: Ein Motorboot von cb.s outfitters mieten oder z.B. Im El Bravo Torro (Stickney Pt. Rd.) gut und preiswert essen.
Einkaufen ist in den Walmart Super- oder Neighborhood Markets 1/4 billiger, als im Publix. Z.B.: 1lb Rinderfilet 15 $, statt 20-23 $.
Und unbedingt die Gasgrills und sie Tennisplätze in der Anlage nutzen!
Auch einmal in die neue UTC-Mall gehen und ins Homedepot.

The Best Apartment in Siesta Key --
The apartment is conveniently located at some 200 meters from the great and beautiful Siesta Key beach. You only have to cross a street to gain access to the beach through the condominium’s beach front building, where you can also enjoy a swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The condominium is a very friendly and family oriented place where you can rest when on vacation.
This apartment is not rental property but the home of someone who takes great care of things. The apartment itself is in perfect condition (extremely clean), as it has been recently remodeled. It is worth mentioning that the furniture, the appliances (including kitchen appliances, washing and drying machines, TVs, etc.), utensils and linens are all top of the line and in perfect working conditions. The apartment also counts with high speed internet which is a must if you need to get some work done. With such a great apartment it was very enjoyable to stay in and not have to go out all the time as happens in less nicer rentals!
In general terms I had a great vacation and would return to this same property anytime. I strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great vacation!

The apartment is located on Siesta Key, one of the most beautiful islands in Florida, directly on Crescent Beach, voted the most beautiful beach in America (Dr. Beach, 2011) and one of the 25 most beautiful beaches in the world (TripAdvisor, 2013).
The quiet residential area with a mediterranean flair stretches from the Intracoastal Waterway in the east to the private beach in the west of the island featuring the finest sand you could imagine.
The apartment is located in the eastern part of the complex on the 3rd floor. The large balcony is facing south and is ideal for sunbathing and relaxing. From here, all the important points of the complex (pool, gym, fishing pier, tennis courts) are within easy reach and the beach with the beach pool is only about 150 meters away. However, due to the the location high above the trees, you will still feel like being all by yourself!
Due to the two-week minimum rental period, the complex belongs to the quieter facilities on the island and is spared all the commotion related to short term tourism.
On the beach you will find beach chairs reserved for Excelsior owners and guests. The sandy beach is one of the most beautiful beaches that you can find, only gently getting deeper and with only mild surf, thus it is the perfect destination for smaller children. And dolphins can often be seen from here, just 100 meters from the beach.
The island itself offers restaurants and shops nearby. In Siesta Village, guests will find numerous restaurants where you get spoiled you with live music, soft drinks and cocktails while you enjoy the warm air.
The mainland and downtown Sarasota is accessible via two bridges within a few minutes. Here are all the shops available. Numerous museums, theaters and restaurants with high culinary level prove that Sarasota is one of the cultural centers of the Florida Gulf Coast.
Besides water sports, golf is one of the main attractions in Florida. In the immediate vicinity you will find a dozen different courses, ranging from small local Golf Clubs to exclusive Country Clubs.
Tampa (1 hour) and Orlando (2.5 hours) with it´s theme parks and large outlet malls also invite you to visit.
Miami, the Florida Keys and Everglades can be reached within a few hours.
In short: Siesta Key is the ideal holiday destination for all sun lovers who want to relax in a comfortable setting at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
