Eric's Place boasts a prime location only 350 yards away from the public beach access of Haigis Beach. This beach is perfect for families with small children due to its small waves and direct access to a playground. Half a mile away is Glendon Road Beach, a more popular beach with equally small waves. You'll be sitting a bit more than one mile west of the charming, little coastal town of Dennis Port. Visit the heart of the town where you can find an ice cream parlor, superb seafood at various beachside restaurants, a bakery, and much more! Try something other than the beach at Hokum Rock Blueberry Farm (six and a half miles north) where you can pick your own blueberries each July and August. Eight miles north is the Mashantum Tennis Club, where non-members can purchase a walk-on fee to use the tennis courts.

Great location and wonderful place

Loved the short walk to the beach and location. Plenty of games and things to do in the house. There are even coolers and all you need to cook etc. very well stocked and made for an enjoyable stay.

Great Place

The location to the beach was ideal. The beach was so great! The house itself was just ok. A little older and dirtier than we expected. Can’t tell from the pictures in the listing. There was only one ac unit in the living room. All bedroom doors had to remain open to get cool and fans used to circulate air. It wasn’t an ideal setup for us in the hot summer with a young child.

Of course the proximity to the beach! A 3 minute walk and you're in the sand! Clean and very comfortable cabin. All you need is your clothes and some groceries! Beach towels and beach chairs are provided! Great place to stay!

Me and two friends stayed this past weekend for my birthday, since we wanted to be close to the beach! My only comment would be that it would have been nice if they had put the air conditioner on before we arrived, as it was hotter inside than it was outside when we got there.

Exactly what we needed!

All the things we needed: beach, comfortable place to sleep, eat and shower. Appreciated the extra beach chairs! Plenty of towels for showering. Plenty of movies and games if there’s a bad weather day - we were lucky to have none of those! We hope to return. Thanks for sharing your place!

Stayed with family of 4 for three days. Perfect for our needs. There were a couple of items that needed be to be addressed that include broken toilet seat, broken window blinds, and damaged bedroom door. Other than that it was a nice quiet stay.

Small cabin, refrigerator went out before we realized and we lost food. Heater was red tagged, fortunately we did not need it on. Window air conditioner leaked terribly, stuffed a towel around the bottom to stop the gale force wind from coming in. The beach was at the bottom of a bluff we no access except to climb the fence next door!

Was hoping for better

Was disappointed in the state of the property. Could have been cleaner; there was garbage left over from past vacationers, dirt on the floor, the comforter was crusty across the whole thing. The outdoor shower had 0 privacy, because panels were missing including the actual door handle. And the grill was covered in mildew and mold. All of the Vacasa homes in the vicinity seemed newer and updated, this needs serious updating and cleaning.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Eric’s Place. It was close by the beach, and the walk was quick and easy. When we returned to the cabin, we were happy to have the outdoor shower to rinse off, and the grill to cook dinner. The actual unit itself is quite small. There were unfortunately a few things that left us frustrated, mainly including a lack of a communication. It was extremely difficult to get in contact with the rental company. The trash was not picked up from the previous renters, which in looking at other reviews, seems to be a common theme. The chairs on the deck need to be replaced. They were all broken is some regard, which was disappointing as that was the main place we gathered. Despite these few things, we had a great stay.

Family home

Our family of four, including two very young, energetic boys, had a lovely time on our vacation. The cottage is welcoming and cozy which made it easy to settle in and feel “at-home. ' The living room is quite comfortable and well- stocked with a variety of DVDs for easy viewing on the TV. The clean kitchen, stocked with plenty of dining and cook wares, was essential for us. The well-maintained gas grill was a great plus, along with the outdoor dining on the deck. The two bedrooms were just right for our needs, and the boys especially enjoyed watching videos from the bunk bed in their room. The adults appreciated the free WiFi access. The short, easy walk to a nice beach is a terrific. The washer and dryer, while always nice to have, become a big bonus after a salty and sandy day at the beach. In addition to the activities and attractions throughout Dennis, the central location also allowed us to easily visit attractions in other towns usually in less than a half-hour drive. The owner is both gracious and generous, and the rental agent was pleasant and efficient. It truly is a nice, comfortable vacation home and we would certainly recommend the cottage to others and would enjoy staying there ourselves again.

Can’t beat the Cape, but won’t stay here again.

I knew from the reviews that this was small, but it was really small. You couldn’t even open the oven door because there was a table in front of it. There were plenty of pillows and the extras were needed because they were so thin! And no extra cases. Bring your own pillows. The listing taunts the cleanliness of this tiny place. Ummm. There was literally sludge in the washer, which also was missing knobs; the fan in the bedroom had 1/4 thick dust in each crevice, ready to blow out at us; the bedroom windowsill (and only one window opened with a screen) was caked with dirt, dust, and actual trash (old candy wrappers)! The front door screen was ripped out and the outdoor shower,a must for beach vacations, was literally knee deep in weeds! A few days in the management team sent someone to clear the weeds and fix the door screen. And, I hear, the owner will be redoing the outdoor shower. If you’re expecting “beach chairs” that you can actually bring to the beach, be prepared to carry heavy folding chairs. The unit is wedged in between other similar units on 3 sides, with a fence on the 4th side. There are no views and no good sunlight coming in. Overall it had the feel of a cheesy, cheap motel. It did not meet our expectations as described. Sorry to say, we will not return here.

A perfect cozy home away from home!

Cozy cottage, perfect location, 5 minute walk to the beach! And the cottage provided everything that we could need for the week. We utilized the outdoor grill and outdoor shower(great) did a wash, had coffe every morning sat on the deck, could not have asked for more. And we had great weather. Definetly looking forward to a return trip.

Great little cottage!

Would stay again. Had everything we needed as a family of four. Was impressed that the noise stayed down in the little village of cottages which is good because of the surrounding residential area. Super comfy, cozy, clean, and fun vacation cottage right down the street from the ocean.

Great cozy place

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage is small but cozy and very clean snd well maintained. It was a little tight for our family of 4 (kids are teenagers) and mattresses were a little firm for our preferences but otherwise great place and I would recommend it.
