The Boathouse Loft is a naturalist's dream, surrounded by natural beauty, a peaceful and relaxing oasis on the shores of one of Cape Cod's largest salt water lakes .....a beautiful waterfront sanctuary situated on its own private peninsula encompassed on 3 sides by water and 1 side by conservation land ....with spectacular sunrises & sunsets plus ocean access to Nantucket Sound. Yet, only minutes to great seafood restaurants, shopping, beaches and fun attractions.

Go kayaking every day with no boat rental fees. Waterfront is the difference between an ordinary and an extraordinary summer vacation. With an incredible vista from the elevated second story open floor plan, The Loft has a comfortable Cape Cod "country style" ambiance. You are the sole occupants - assuring welcome privacy (the separate entrance ground floor is for storage & maintenance of the water purification system and is occasionally accessed by the Host).

During hot summer days, the Loft is fully air-conditioned (14,000 BTUs total ) During the crisp spring and autumn days, the bedroom, kitchen/veranda & bathroom have individual heaters & thermostats controlling the heat.

The scenic approach to the Boat House Loft is by a private winding dirt road. At the very end of the road is an enclave of homes including the Boat House with it's private Cape Cod 'tree house' loft, perched on the second floor under pine trees.

Included with the Boat House Loft is a large private outdoor space. Great for relaxing and grilling at the water's edge. The location is ideal for the kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding or sailing enthusiast ....you have direct access to our launch area.

UNIQUE ON CAPE COD. We offer the ultimate in on-the-water value for our guests. Included at no charge is our fleet of watercraft. The "Future Beach Maui 124" stand up paddle board, two "sit-in" kayaks and a canoe that survived a tornado hit!

Naturalist's dream! Circumnavigate Swan Pond in any of the watercraft or use the kayaks and canoe to paddle down Swan Pond River to the ocean. The boating is the best on Cape Cod - two miles downstream is Nantucket Sound, with a Town of Dennis public beach at the mouth of the river. It is warm water south-side beach. What an excellent way to enjoy being on the water.

The centrally located Loft is exactly 30 minutes from the Sagamore Bridge.

Larry was amazing and so accommodating with all of our needs. The property is a perfect tranquil waterfront getaway. The cottage has a warm rustic charm. While it feels secluded its not far from anything. This cottage offers a peaceful haven that will leave you refreshed and rejuvenated. We highly recommend.

Myself and my dog Bonnie stayed for 3 nights and had the best time. The place was cute and cozy right on the water. All I could hear were birds and the breeze blowing in the trees. It was so relaxing. The owner and his dog Shadow were wonderful. Very friendly and now my dog has a new friend. Would definitely stay there again.

"Quaint scenic get-away"
We felt like we were far away from everything but in 5 minutes by car we were at a shopping center and great restaurants. The boathouse loft was well appointed with everything we needed. The owner was welcoming to us and our dog. Amazing view of Swan Pond, a beautiful little salt water estuary we kayaked & paddle-boarded on. Easy access to multiple town beaches & the national seashore beaches! Loved our week-long stay & will be back.

Beautiful peaceful spot. Using Laurence’s kayaks to go down the river to the ocean beach was the highlight of the of the trip! Good location to restaurants and shopping. Our dogs loved playing with Shadow, Laurence’s wonderful pup. Our host gave us good recommendations and was available for any questions.

Dream mini-vacation for a family with a dog. Exceptional location on Swan Lake. We enjoyed kayaking and biking every day. Our dog had a blast as well. Very gracious owner, gave us lots of good info.

What a fabulous vacation we had! When we drove up, Larry & King were there to greet us and give us a tour of the property. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful waterfront vacation complete with 2 kayaks, a Stand-up Paddle board and canoe. The outdoor area had a fire pit that unfortunately we never used even though Larry cut up some firewood for us!

Larry and King are great hosts and the property is perfect for a quiet getaway with plenty to do if you want! Between the location of the boat house (close to everything) kayaks, canoe, amazing view from the porch, beautiful sunrise's, all the amenities you need and again, the fabulous hosts, this was a perfect getaway for us! Thank you again Larry and King for making our getaway awesome, we will definitely be back!
