Beach Front Condo Beautiful Ocean View 8th Floor

Our beachfront studio condo is the perfect place to stay for active couples! The views are amazing and the beach is big and open. We have a comfortable king bed. There is so much to do right around the condo! Mini Golf, all the restaurants you can imagine, water sports rentals just to the right of the hotel! There are unlimited ways to have fun when you stay with us. We have a nice pool to kick back and relax in. Enjoy the sun all day on the best beach in the area. Then do it all over again!

Short stay

The room was outdated, and needs repairs, but being that we did not plan being in the room much not a big issue. There was a smell outside the room, which was very much like a humid locker room that trailed inside. Bed was good, water pressure was good, view was good. I would stay again, just would like to see it updated some.

Wonderful . safe, clean, nicely decorated and updated and communication on point! Very accommodating

We absolutely had a wonderful stay! The room was very nice ,even better than pictured , very clean, updated, and detailed beautifully. There was extras most rooms dont have,making it extremely comfortable and the veiw..i could go on for days about thie veiw, we walked in the room and straight out to the balcony and there were 15 or 20 dolphins playing there in the surf directly in front of our room. If thats not a welcome i dont know what is !! The resort itself was great, clean and we definitely felt safe. It is located in a great area close to peirs and within walking distance from restaurants. it seemed that we were on the lower end of the crowds but still right there central myrtle.. perfect location! As far as the host goes , they were the best! They were super friendly and accommodating, they were really quick to respond from the start of my booking process, sending entry info within a few minutes as this was a last minute booking, checking in the next day i was a little worried but they took care of everything very quickly! And was able to allow for a early check in at that! Very much appreciated! This was one of our best vrbo or air b& b stays to date and there have been a plenty..we definitely intended on visiting again and would more than recommend this room and host !

Horrible

This place was absolutely horrible. One outlet in the entire room worked. When i contacted the property manager he told me to buy an extension cord and plug the refrigerator in to that so it will work. The sliding glass door to the balcony would not close once you opened it. Absolutely horrible room.

Myrtle Beach vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the resort but the room need some TLC. Vents were dislodged and sinks were backing up. Overall fwe enjoyed our stay but pictures were slightly deceiving.

The room

The room was terrible and not what pictured, the curtain and rod was on the floor when we walked in, the paint was peeling from the ceiling there wasn't enough towels the lock was removed on the door as well. It's most definitely not very well maintained having seen the other rooms we were very disappointed.

Tired Resort

Workers were fantastic. Building and rooms need major repairs and cleaning. Elevator to parking garage needs repairs to the mechanics so that it works properly. Building and rooms need major up grades. It is hard for the workers to have heart in their work when the owners of the building does not invest into upgrades of the rooms and building in general.

Disappointing

I booked this stay in order to be as close as possible to Relatives visiting the area and also have ocean front. I knew when booking that this room was not going to be the best and certainly didn't expect a 5 start. Having said that, I did expect better than what I received. I was shocked that VRBO would allow a listing with the following: 1. Paint was pealing off the ceiling in the bathroom and living room 2. The sliding glass door would not lock 3. The front door had no secondary lock...the latch was missing and there was no dead bolt to prevent someone from entering with the code while we were sleeping. I enjoyed my stay as I was not in the room except to sleep. If I had booked this location for a full week, I would have had a major issue. Some basic maintenance on the facility would go a long way. Also, the bed really needs a mattress pad and not just a bottom sheet.

THE GOOID AND THE BAD EXPERIENCES

Our experience renting @ The Sun N Sand Resort: Bad experience: Computers was putting out incorrect/wrong info where 2 go on 4th of July. TV only had about 2 stations where U could watch a TV Show. Other stations was about selling products. Welcome Centers should be better organized, since there are more than one. Visiters coming in out of town do not know that their are more than one Welcome Center in S Carolina. Let the visitors know you all have several Welcome Centers, then tell them which one to go to, instead of just saying go to the Welcome Center on Bogus Parkway next to Alligator Play House. If visitor ask where is the Welcome Center, please let them know which one to go to and that you all have several Welcome Centers and this is the correct one for the visitor you are speaking or guiding the welcome center to go to. The visitor may say like my husband did, "Yea, we saw the Welcome Center". He did, but it was the wrong Welcome Center, and the person at the Resort did not say, "Or U sure U have the right center, "Sir we have several Welcome Centers and this is the one U should go 2".Good Experience: No bugs, good bed 2 sleep in, decent bath room. Good view @ the beach. No fighting, shooting, etc. People was friendly + respectful that stayed there. Desk people was polite and respectful. Clean room/decent. Managers/Owners of Condos was nice polite hospitable.

Worst experience ever!

The lobby and parking garage were filthy and sketchy! The property owner did not communicate regarding their faulty key pad. We were locked out of the unit as the key pad battery was dead. We couldn't even use the unit. The linens had dirty spots on them. There was only a half a roll of toilet paper. The floors were dirty. There were no paper towels, dishes sponge, or soap. This is an awful unit. The property manager told me on the phone that the owner doesn't give him money to fix the unit. He said the lock keypad was an issue for other renters! Upon checkout they sent over a guy with a crowbar to break in the unit to get our belongings! I have asked for a partial refund for the entire day we were locked out without our clothing and medicine. The owner and manager have ignored me. I'm not an unreasonably or person who likes to complain. I simply don't want others to be in this situation so I felt forced to say something. We have used VRBO many times with no issues. This was the worst!

Buyer Beware Only reason 1 star was rated I had to add at least one for this to submit

I prefer to only give this rental no rating at all being that the property manager ask me to please not give a bad review of this unit. I was only able to check in and immediately check out due to condition of unit .Strong potential exposure to Covid-19. Worst vacation ever.

Pros: Comfort, view, and space Cons: none of the information needed was entered by the owners so it took a while to check in after arrival, neighbors to the left slams door when coming and going, tub was full of hair

Perfect for our 5 year anniversary quick get away!!

It was easy. I got quick responses and help with anything we needed. The place was simple but perfect, especially for the rate! The host was pleasant.
