The residence features an indoor fireplace, rustic wood surfaces, mid-century touches, and a layout allowing for privacy between the upstairs and downstairs sleeping areas with queen beds in each of the three bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen with new appliances downstairs; flat screen TV upstairs in living room. Relax at the fire pit while roasting marshmallows after a day on the slopes of Appalachian Ski Mountain. Sip coffee on the porch listening to the sounds of the property’s babbling brook. If you need to work, there is high speed internet and a separate home office. Just minutes away from hiking, skiing, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and all that Boone/Blowing Rock has to offer. All wheel drive or chains needed when it snows due to a steeper driveway; 3 car max. If you have any questions about the house or area, feel free to ask!

Nice home

We had a great time staying at the house. We loved how close it was to the various attractions in Boone. We were happy to find a baby gate and pack-n-play in the closet too.

We are a family of five who likes to get away from city life and enjoy relaxing in the mountains! We want to share our home with you, and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

In selecting a second home for our family, we wanted to find place that was like entering a different word. Even though it is a short drive from home, the high elevation of the area gives Blowing Rock a totally different climate; we love being able to go some place cool in the summer and to have snow adventures in the winter!

What makes this property unique

The house makes you feel like you are in a woodsy getaway, but you are still close to all the comforts of life! There are tons of options of things to do, eat, and see - all within just a few minutes of the house.
