This property is a Myrtle Beach landmark and features an expansive pool deck with indoor and outdoor pools. On-site you will find the Ground Floor Cafe, proudly serving Starbucks and sweet treats. Indigo Coastal Kitchen on the second floor is open for breakfast and dinner. Hours vary by season. During our warmest months, we open our pool bar during our warmest months and schedule live entertainment on the pool deck.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here, they were friendly and allowed our pets so we all could enjoy ocean front vacation.

Reasonable Cost

If you are looking for a budget friendly option that opens up to the beach, this isn't a bad choice. If you are looking for a "really nice" place to stay, I would suggest finding something else. It's great for people who will be using it as a place to stay while they explore, but if you're seeking state of the art amenities, you won't find them here.

We planned our trip at the last minute. The room fit our need. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Indoor pool and lazy river was nice and warm. Recommend this rental to any couple.

Needs to be upgraded

Love the location but furnishings are OLD and dirty. A refresh would do wonders. Plus the floors and carpet was DIRTY. More interested in serving pets than people. Have stayed here a.coue times over the past 19 years vut won't stay there anymore.

Dirty and old

The furniture was old and too dirty to even sit on. The bathroom was dirty and towel rack wouldn't stay on the wall. There was no weather strip on the bottom of the hotel door ao bugs and mice can come right into your room. The hotel was crawling with cockroaches.

Great view, ok condo

The o8 units are Patricia Grand provide direct Ocean front views with no views of your neighbors. The one bedroom unit is small but nice. The kitchen area is tiny with almost no counter space. The condo was clean but older with floors and furniture showing some signs of wear. The kitchen lacked a few basics like a frying pan and the general condition of what is supplied is not great. I had quite of bit of noise bleeding over from the 10 condo next door into the bedroom on my last night. All the negative comments need to be balanced against the view, the welcoming staff, amenities and location.

Dog friendly

Love the fact Patricia Grand is dog friendly. However, there is plenty of opportunities for improvement. First, the beds are super hard. If you have a bad back keep this in mind. Second, cleanliness is not the best and Covid is used as an excuse. Third, room and amenities upgrades are seriously need. Forth, the on site bar and restaurant do not have regular hours after peak times. They close dependent upon volume but do not indicate this on hours posted. Conclusion: you pay for resort amenities and experience but end up staying with a rundown cheap motel experience.

I’ve rated this a 2 star. It was a good 9 days when we were on the beach. Other than that, we were very disappointed and honestly disgusted with the building, elevators, windows, pools, hot tubs and the room. It was literally filthy. Within 10 minutes of getting in the room, I knew I needed to do something quickly. I had to get an Uber to go to Walmart for cleaning supplies. It was so bad, even after using bleach products, I couldn’t clean it enough to feel comfortable. Our bathroom had a horrible smell, like dirty body/urine that Clorox couldn’t get rid of. The table had spots of dried food and there were crumbs on the chairs. The paint below the mirror in the bathroom had so much grime build up, i couldn’t even clean it. The towel holder in the bathroom was broke and hanging down the wall and towels were just left on the sink. No one came to fix it during the 9 days there. The walls have “fluid” drips running down that were very visible, yet not wiped down. The light switches had dirty finger prints, how was this not noticed!? The tub still had someone water in it, with soap build up at the edge of the water. The side of the refrigerator was dirty with build up. The crease between the counter and the stove had food and grime built up in it. There were sticky gum spots on the balcony. The fold out couch had food, trash and sand under it. There was tags off clothing, candy wrappers and dust behind the furniture in the bedroom. The night before check out, we had to walk to the dollar store for shampoo. We asked the rude lady at the front desk for shampoo and she said we’d have to wait until house keeping arrived the next morning. We did NOT spend any time in any of the commons areas. The pool was closed when we arrived because a diaper or hygiene piece was floating in the pool. When we walked through the door from the hallway to the float pool, there was a piece of poop on the floor! I went in to use the bathroom in that same area and there was trash on the floor and in the sink. It was terrible. We heard about cars being broke into in the parking garage. As we were walking out of the garage, we were approached by 3 young guys, who were standing at the entrance, asking us to buy some marijuana. Really? I hate to have to be so honest about this but for the money we spent for 9 days here and all the money and arrangements we made to stay here, I have no choice but to be truthful. I felt stuck here the whole time. I cried multiple times, this was my vacation, this is how it was spent. I also want to add that I am now reading the reviews on this room. The review I am leaving is similar to the review recently left. This simply means that nothing has changed. My review doesn’t matter. It’s not going to help. It tells me that this is the norm here. This is the standard here. Nothing I write will make a difference. I’m leaving a one star for all areas. I hope for my health and others health that something changes before someone gets sick.

A little slice of paradise!

We went during off season (January) and it was still so beautiful. I have stayed at Patricia grande a few times now and each time I have had a great experience. With this being a dog friendly hotel every morning when we walk to the beach we’re greeted with friendly pups! Ugh, I miss it already! Clean facilities, good service, etc.
