Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 3 Baths, (Sleeps 8)
We live in Florida, but love the mountains of Summit County. We live a busy life with us both working, and our son works very hard in school. We have so many wonderful memories from Colorado and would love for you to make your own memories in our home!
Debbie purchased this Condo in 2008
Why Debbie chose Keystone
We often felt very cramped in most River Run condos. So the 1140 sq foot 2 bedroom, 3 bath was perfect for our family. We can have family or friends join us and still be comfortable. Red Hawk Lodge is our choice for our second home for several reasons. First it is VERY close to the Gondola, it is very PEACEFULLY, NO BARS, RETAIL, STORES OR NOISE below the building. It is a stand alone building with the Snake River and the Ski Slopes behind the building. But it is also still in the River Run Village, just on the quiet East side of the Village. You can still enjoy your morning coffee and bagel in River Run or have a fun night in one of the many great restaurants or bars. But you will love the peacefulness of Red Hawk Lodge with the amenities of River Run without the noise.
What makes this Condo unique
Red Hawk Lodge's pool, hot tub, sauna, work out room, and lobby are all private. Plus the view of the River and Ski Runs is wonderful while you are working out or sitting in the hot tub. Our son enjoys playing a game of pool, chess or checkers with his Dad down in the lobby. In the morning you just get on the elevator, go to the private ski lockers, grab your skis, walk out the door and you are on the Gondola. It is very easy to get spoiled while staying at the Red Hawk Lodge. Go ahead and spoil yourself - it is your vacation!

Great location - easy walk to Gondola and ski school for our kids. Nice amenities and plenty of room for our family of five.
Great location and apt
The location was great and close proximity to the gondola and village. The view was great, as in the picture. The apartment was perfect size, clean, and with all the necessary amenities one needs during vacation. The humidifier available was exactly what one needs to help alleviate with the dry air and altitude. The beds were comfortable. We will definitely stay again and recommend this location to everyone. Thank you for helping make our trip a great one.
We are so happy you enjoyed your stay! Please visit us again,

Great location for skiing!!
Extremely convenient access to the slopes! It was only a 2-3 minute walk to both the gondola lift and Keystone village with it's shops and restaurants. The property was in good shape and was spacious for a two bedroom unit. Communication with the owner was both pleasant and easy. I would definitely stay here again in the future!
Thank you very much and we look forward to you staying in our Home again,

Although it suited us size wise, I struggled with allergy issues.
The location and size of the unit were fine. Liked that it had three bathrooms. We felt it was always too warm and dry in the unit, and the humidifiers that we found in the closet have not been properly maintained. We wanted to use them but discovered mold growing in them and decided against it. I suspect they had been used prior to our visit because I had terrible allergy issues the whole time I was in the unit, that seemed to resolve when I was outdoors. The patio door blinds were not in good working order and we could not open and/or close them properly. This was a problem as one of the three couples slept in the living area! I do think a smaller table would work better in the living area, and an area rug to absorb moisture on the wood floor around the table would have been nice. With six adults coming in together in ski boots, the tiled kitchen area is just not big enough for everyone to remove wet boots and clothing.
Our property manager would have brought you brand new dehumidifiers if you had asked. Also the bliinds would have been serviced if you had notified us of the issue. With regards to your allergy issue, that sounds like a medical condition and we are always open to attempting to make our guests comfortable. The table size is designed to set 8 - so most enjoy the big table. With regards to the blinds, we cannot fix issues if we are not made aware of the problem. We would be happy to have you visit us again and hopefully you would have a better stay since allergies can be very seasonal.
Nice large unit, loved the big closet and mountain views
Unit was large for our family of 5, not sure I would put 8 in here. But we like our space. Murphy comes down without moving stuff around much and was very comfortable. The 3rd bathroom was a wonderful thing to have on vacation. Each bedroom had an attached bath, so privacy was never an issue. The appliances felt brand new, there were stacks of blankets and pillows. We used the crock pot to make Chili, we cooked Buffalo steaks on the grill outside. We were there in the summer and it got a little warm at times - we just used the big tall wind tunnel fans, there were 3 of them in the unit. There is never air conditioning in Colorado, you really do not need it - there were 3 box fans and 3 wind tunnel fans - plenty to keep us comfortable. Lots of towels, plenty of kitchen supplies. There were even cooking supplies over the microwave - spices, coffee filters, olive oil etc....would go back in a heart beat!
