You’ll feel like a your on your own River estate! Come relax at our gated hide away. Close to everything by car/ boat or golf cart. Adirondack lodge style Inn has Spacious open living area full professional kitchen with 3 private bedrooms and baths. Whirlpool tubs and king and queen beds. Open concept living and dining area over 2000 ft of living area. Additional bedrooms are available for 175.00 per night per room. Cathedral ceilings large glass viewing walls in living space. Bright sunny rooms and dark lighted rooms. Everything you need to forget your troubles and relax just off the Homosassa River. Situated on 40 acres sitting on the deep canal to the river. Rent just the upstairs lodge or add in the large downstairs 1 bedroom pool side veranda for a totally private getaway for you and your guests if available (Extra charge). We also have a large covered boat dock fits boats up to 23ft. Free use of our canoe. Sit by the beautiful paved fire pit area at night listen to the abundance of wildlife or relax on our wrap around 2nd story Deck. Convenient location close to everything. 3/4 mikes to the wildlife park. Situated on the deep canal to the Homosassa River. The pool and grounds are shared depending on if both spaces are rented to different guests. Ask about renting the whole house for total privacy. Perfect for bird watchers, naturalist and writers. Gated entrance with 600ft driveway. Sorry no one under 27 and no travel trailers, RVs or pets allowed. Non Smoking. Some considerations are made for children 15 and up. Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights
Please make sure gas is turned off on BBQ and stoves.
Please put all damp towels in hooks or towel bars to dry
Please make sure all outside locks to bedroom doors are locked they feel locked from the outside not inside
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Prior to stay all guest names will be registered with Host. No Smoking or outside guests allowed unless approved. Do not give out gate or door codes
We ask not to sit on furniture/beds with wet clothing, hang all damp towels on racks please. Please No hard coolers up stairs they will scratch floor.
Please Do not flush anything but toilet paper down toilets or you could end up with a bad day.

The pictures of the house are accurate. The property has everything you could want. The boat slip was perfect for us and everything is close by boat or car. Would definitely stay here again. Everyone in our group also enjoyed this property.

Absolutely Incredible

This is such an amazing property nestled just inside all of the attractions of Homosassa. The property owner was so nice and have impeccable customer service. The large property was secluded easy for us to park our boat trailers. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this property and will definitely be booking again soon.

Another fantastic weekend.

This is our second time here and it did not disappoint. We had 4 sets of couples and the space was perfect. Plenty of space to spread out and spaces big enough to all be together (each room having a private bath is perfect). We spent our days on the boat and usually got caught in the rain so the pool was a perfect temp to relax in when we got back. The house is stocked with everything you need. The natural grounds are beautiful and so peaceful. The place was clean and the owner is responsive (although we needed nothing once we got there) We are all looking forward to next years trip at the Bluemoon!

Tucked Away Retreat

This property is in the heart of all the Homosassa activity, yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the river. Nicely appointed and very clean. Care is taken to make sure you have what you need and expect. Great manager, very communicative and interested in your enjoyment of the property. Good boat dock. Will be back! Note: Be aware there are no laundry machines on site. Manager did indicate a solution in the works.

Great Getaway!!! Great House/Inn!!!

Blue Moon was the perfect getaway! We met up with two other couples and the house was perfect for our weekend couple getaway! Perfect location! Commercial kitchen had everything we needed to all trade off cooking dinner each night!! We enjoyed Crumps Landing the last night. We made many attempts at scalloping but the rain was around all weekend .. we enjoyed the pool, back deck, grilling And lots of quality time at the inn. We each had our own space and so comfortable! We even saw a beautiful owl off the back deck at night and in the morning. Host was great and always available if needed. Thank you for sharing Blue Moon with us and helping us build more memories with great friends!

Great Property, Very Comfortable

This property is perfect for enjoying the river. We stayed with friends and it affords privacy at a bedroom/ bathroom level but a great space for hanging together. The Manager takes great care at having the property ready and comfortable for you stay. She is assessable and makes sure things are good after you arrive, but not overly so. This is our second visit and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

We are nature loving people who chose Homosassa for just that. We loved all the wild life and birds, hawks and Eagles. The river is a magic place. We are active in environmental groups and love being part of this area of FL. I am a film maker and photographer and artist. We love meeting new people and make a lot of new friends in this business. We have owned the Bed & Breakfast for 20 years and love having such great guests.

Why they chose this property

We are on water and sit back off the road nestled on 3 acres that back up to 56 wild acres so there's alway a beautiful natural serenity to being here. We are minutes away from all Homosassa has to offer yet behind the gates you feel as though your miles away.
Our lodge is very unique with 20 foot windows and large wood beams that let in the outside view. Come experience nature while having champagne by the fire place.

What makes this property unique

Secluded, Upscale, natural and on the water. Gated with a large covered boat dock. We start you off with soda, water, wine and beer so you can kick back and relax as soon as you arrive. Our kitchen has everything you need including spices and plastic wrap, tin foil and paper products. We offer 125 cable Chanels and Ruko TV to bring along your own shows. Jacuzzi tub and bright rooms all with private bathes.
