Full House Farm Studio Cottage; a cozy room with full kitchen, living area/sleeping area, plus a full bath with beautiful vintage claw foot tub under a skylight(Sleeps 1-2.)

Our intimate and private, turn-key, studio cottage vacation rental is well placed at the top of the property for gorgeous sunset views. This cottage is surrounded with lush, wild landscape, including oaks, pine, and bay laurel viewed from the kitchen, dining area and deck.

The two-person hot tub is nestled beneath majestic oaks where privacy is assured and views abound.

Inside this cottage, there is a well designed living/sleeping area with a luxurious queen pillowtop bed under an opening skylight. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is dining with a view of the oak grove and westward hills. The dining table looks right out into oak groves where deer graze and wild life is at home. In the living room/bedroom there are bookshelves filled with interesting books and magazines.

To further entertain you, there is a flat screen that swivels for viewing in either the dining area or living area with streaming access for movies and music, plus this acts as a DVD player.

Upon arrival you will drive down your private drive and find the key waiting for you. Inside you will find a bowl of fresh organic eggs from our own hens, locally baked organic bread, coffee, tea, butter, and jam.

And, incredibly, there is more! Throughout the year, you are welcome to stroll through our organically grown garden to pick fresh fruits and vegetable for your meals. During the summer you can find tomatoes, squash, green beans, cucumbers, raspberries, and more. In the winter there are a variety of veggies like lettuce, kale, spinach, broccoli, and always an array of herbs and edible flowers. The best of Sonoma County awaits you here!

If it is a farm experience you desire, come and learn about the chickens, goats, and horses. You can even assist us while we care for the animals. Tours are available for small and large groups and YOU receive 50% off this popular tour while here. You can learn about micro-farming, organic foods, and sustainable living. There are picnic facilities if you are planning just a visit for the day, rather than an overnight stay.

One of the most attractive activities here at Full House Farm revolves around the horses, whether you are just visiting or would like to become a regular student. Harmony With Horses is designed to invite you to learn horses communicate with each other and how applicable that is to our own relationships, with the horses being the real teachers and Life-Coach, Christine Cole, skillfully guiding students. There are mentoring programs for kids and inspiring, life-changing programs for adults. This is not your ordinary horseback riding experience, but rather a journey into the language of the horse. Christine's 40+ years of coaching is a rare find, unique in its depth and insight.

So, whether you are seeking an outing with your family, a special vacation, or an experience with horses that matches no other, there is something here for you.

Why Christine Cole chose Sebastopol

This is a special place with a healthy mix of wild and domestic living harmoniously and respectfully together. It is close enough to the many enticing aspects of Sonoma County that draws thousands of tourist every year, yet tucked in to the hills in such a way as to feel privacy and peace. The best of both worlds.

What makes this cottage unique

Full House Farm is unique in the opportunity to stay on a real farm, where gardens and animals sustain us, and you are welcome to partake and learn. The level of your interest dictates how involved you wish to be. You can harvest organic veggies for your meals or purchase delicious goat milk and other dairy products such as chevre, yogurt, kefir, lavender raspberry panna cotta (cream custard), blueberry cheesecake, and ice cream all made on the premises. You can insert yourself into the farm schedule, helping with chores like feeding and cleaning up after the animals, weeding in the garden, or performing simple maintenance. Simple getaway close enough to wine country

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed the simple, yet everything-you-need cottage. We toured the farm and enjoyed fresh eggs. The little town of Sebastopol was quaint and quirky and we wish we had had more time to explore it! We were about 45 minutes from our wine country experience in Sonoma but learned there are other ways to enjoy the wine of this part of the country in little Sebastopol as well. We liked the simplicity, quietness, proximity to other towns and areas, local eating and price! :)

Cozy hideaway in the woods

  • 5 of 5

This compact space was well-equipped with everything we needed for a quiet getaway. We especially enjoyed the deck with a hot tub just right for two. And having access to the garden was a plus--fresh lettuces for our dinner and delicious raspberries for breakfast--perfect!

The guesthouse was lovely as were the hosts. The house is quite private. Christine was readily available to answer any questions and would periodically check in to see if I needed anything. The breakfast supplies (organic eggs, bread, jam ....) were much appreciated. I look forward to returning! thanks

Lovely and tranquil cottage in nice location

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was on the farm but it was also separate and quiet so we could just relax and take in the scenery from the lovely porch, which is where we spent most of our time! We didn't see or hear anyone when we were in the cottage - it was very peaceful. It is in a good location - close to shops and restaurants in Sebastopol, wineries in the area, and a beautiful drive to Highway 1 and Bodega Bay. Our hosts were friendly and responded quickly to inquiries. We enjoyed our stay and hope to go back!

Beautiful weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our weekend at the cottage was peaceful and full of fun. Our first night their we cozied up in the cottage, hot tubed and cooked dinner while feeling miles away from everything. The second day we enjoyed fresh bread, eggs and jam that were provided for breakfast and coffee out on the deck in the morning fog. Later that day, we went on the farm tour and met all the animals and learned about how to take care of a farm and the animals. Lindsey was very knowledgable and even let us milk one of the goats! On our last day we were sad to go, but we took a lot of the farm with us. We bought all of their delicious products for sale and picnicked with them on a beach in near by Bodega bay.
