The cabin was a cute little cabin that was well designed. The walls aren’t full walls for the bedrooms so sound carries which was fine for us. The beach is so close and amazing. It was a delightful stay! We would definitely go back!

I loved that I could bring my fur baby The lake was just a min away. My son got married there and we actually heard the waves better than they did. The storm was pretty cool with the waves too. All in all great job and we would come back

Sometimes there are a few hiccups when renting a VRBO, and I ran into that but Barb was incredibly responsive and helpful in order for us to move in relatively quickly. I will not give a bad review in our situation as I know it was ‘just one of those things’. Barb is an outstanding host. Incredibly quick to respond and make things right. The cabin was very cozy and lovely. Can easily hear the waves of Lake Superior. Wonderful. Fall colors were amazing!!

Cabin is comfy, cozy, simple, Pet friendly. Perfect for our needs. Fire alarm started beeping 1 am. The next day the Owners contacted us and drove up North from the Cities to replace the alarm! Excellent customer service, Owner stating “We would want this fixed asap.” Beautiful Location! 2 minute walk to the beach/lakeshore. 5 min drive to Temperance Beach and State Park. Coffee Shops, General Store within few minutes. Was our Second stay with this owner/family. Thank you! Will be back!

Great location by the big lake!

Great location to the Superior Hiking Trail and Lake Superior. Super clean and had everything we wanted. And beach access with a short walk! Good cabin for a couple or family as bedroom ceilings are connected. Thanks for being pet-friendly too!

We had a wonderful vacation in Schroeder in this great cabin paradise! It was especially helpful to be able to bring our dogs along. Having Lake Superior just down the hill was the highlight of our stay! We had everything we needed, and all of us were very comfortable. Thank you!

Convenient, cozy cabin near the lake.

Cabin had all of the amenities and was as described. Loved that they provided water in lieu of tap water. Close to Superior and Temperance Rivers for hiking, pictures, etc.

Cabin get away

The cabin was perfect for us. It was private, clean and had everything we needed. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t figure out how to get down to the beach to watch the sunrises and sunsets but that was okay as we had ample opportunity to see and explore the lake shore on our daily excursions. Definitely would stay here again.
