If you are looking for a beautiful, spacious, incredibly clean, affordable condo with fantastic amenities located right in the heart of Poipu….you've come to the right place!!  Pakele Kahakai or "Beach Escape" is what our family calls our dream Kauai home.  This condo puts you in easy walking distance to world famous beaches, and a very short drive to fantastic shopping, restaurants, golfing, and many other popular attractions!  Take a quick stroll just outside the condo on the “Greenbelt Walkway” and you will arrive at Brennecke’s Beach and Poipu Beach in about five minutes, or head the other direction and you can walk to the Grand Hyatt Hotel and Shipwreck Beach in under ten minutes.  You could not ask for a more central location in the middle of the action! Poipu Beach has been voted "Best Beach in America" by the Travel Channel and it is not hard to see why.  Poipu Beach has a section of calm waters perfect for families with young children, but is also great for snorkeling, swimming, boogie boarding, and surfing.  There is a huge lawn area with shade trees, picnic tables, kids play-area, restrooms, showers, and some food options. One of the most special parts of Poipu Beach are the sea turtles that you will see every single day. Don't miss walking to the beach at sunset to see the parade of turtles coming ashore to rest for the evening at this magical beach!
With 1329 sq/ft of space, two large bedrooms, two updated bathrooms, and three separate outdoor lanai’s, this beautiful condo not only gives you plenty of room for your group, but you truly feel like you are at home.  You will be hard-pressed to find a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo anywhere in Kauai that has this much space! There is an open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining room which is great for entertaining or relaxing.  The front lanai looks out to lush tropical green surroundings with mountain views, and each bedroom has its own private lanai with stunning garden views.  Time your stay right and you can literally pick fresh bananas from the tree off the bedroom lanai! Both bedrooms have king beds, and a queen-size very comfy Murphy bed is conveniently tucked away in the dining room area, making for very relaxing sleeping arrangements for up to six guests. Air conditioning was recently added in both of the bedrooms. Every room has ceiling fans, and there are also great natural breezes that run thru the condo.
You don't have to worry about bringing your beach gear as we supply everything you will need: snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach blanket, boogie boards, beach toys, beach wagon, and ice chests.  We also supply all linens, towels (including beach towels), paper products, soap, body wash, shampoo, laundry pods, and dishwasher pods. The large kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need to cook your meals from home including all silverware, dishes, pots/pans, toaster, coffee maker, Keurig, and a blender!  Both the kitchen and bathrooms were fully remodeled complete with granite countertops, new cabinets, and seamless showers. There is very plush and comfy carpet in the living room, hallway, and bedrooms. This condo is loaded with stacked laundry, free High Speed Wireless Internet, Alexxa, and flat screen TV’s with cable in both bedrooms and the living room.
In addition to its ideal ground-level location and close walking access to some of Kauai’s best beaches, there are amazing amenities that come along with staying at the Poipu Kai Resort! Your group will have access to 3 beautiful pools and jacuzzi’s. We have a lovely pool, jacuzzi, and BBQ area conveniently right around the corner but just far enough away to avoid the noise. You have access to tennis and pickleball courts, BBQ grills, beautiful lush green surroundings with lighted walking paths, 24 hour security, a designated parking spot, and ample additional free parking.  This is a beautiful condo and is in a prime location just minutes from the best beaches, swimming, surfing, amazing golf courses, and great shopping. In addition to its close proximity to fabulous beaches and other great activities nearby in Poipu, this location is central to many other great locations on the island of Kauai. We are a short 25 minute drive to Lihue, and a 30 minute drive to the west side of the island (Waimea). From Waimea you can drive up the mountain and see the magestic Waimea Canyon in 20 minutes. From this condo you can also drive to Kapaa in 35 minutes or to the North Shore (Princeville/Hanalei) in just under an hour. You could not find a more central location if you plan to explore the entire island of Kauai!
