Serenity4Shore

Two bedroom townhome each with a full private bath . This rental is an early checkin at 12:00 pm without any additional charge!. Next door to community pool and tennis courts and a short walk to the beach! Enjoy sitting out on one of the three decks in the early morning to plan your fun filled day. We provide beach chairs, umbrella and a beach wagon to get everything you need down to the beach. The outside shower gives a place to rinse off the sand from the beach. The town of Duck is minutes away and offers places to rent bikes jet skis paddle boards and boats. Plenty of restaurants day spas and great shops make the town of Duck the perfect vacation spot! This is a no pet rental. We are Unit 29. Swimming pool is open from May 25 to September 22, 9AM to dusk.

Overall nice community and pool—very close to the ocean—cleaning services could do a better job—-outside shower didn’t work, but the hose was in working condition—pool and proximity to ocean are major pluses

Great escape to Duck

Debbie was easy to work with and answered all of our questions. This property was everything we needed for our quick visit. We especially enjoyed the short distance to the town center and found the community location to be quiet and relaxing.

Great stay!

I stayed at this property with my husband and daughter for one week. We found the property well equipped with everything needed, and great location. It was close to the beach and to many restaurants in Duck. There was even a beach wagon to carry all our beach gear easily. That was much appreciated. The outside shower was also great and convenient. We’d definitely stay here again.

It was just enough!

It was just the right size and location. Nothing flashy but conveniently located and good for our small family! We had a problem with the code to the pool and received a response right away. The community does need to seal the pool deck though, as my son ended up getting a big splinter and going to urgent care. It was an otherwise great stay!

Perfect for our needs

The Condo is perfect for a small group. We had 4 adults. Walking distance to the beach, close to our favorite shops and restaurants. Plenty of games handy for the rainy, cool days. (Only suggestion would be room darkening curtains in the master bedroom for those who aren't early risers. It was Suddenly bright at 6am)

We really enjoyed our stay at Serenity4Shore! Located a little over a half mile to downtown Duck, we walked several times instead of taking the car. Sidewalks all the way. The condo is a very short distance from the beach-just down the drive from our area. The bed linens and curtains appear to have been recently replaced.Also feels very homey. Lots of books and board games. Would love to go back!

Wouldn't Go Back to This Townhouse

The carpets in this townhouse are filthy. Not one beach chair, boogie board, or umbrella on the premises. The outside shower had a trickle of water coming out. The lock on the front living room sliding glass door didn't lock. We only got one parking pass for a townhouse that sleeps 7 and when I asked for another one I was told by Debbie Rinker that the prior occupants took it with them and they wouldn't get it back in time to give it to us. Yet I had to Federal Express the laundry room key back "ASAP". Ummm really? This is the first such subpar report I've had to give with VRBO.

Perfect location, nice condo amenities.

We enjoyed our stay in Duck. The condo was 1/2 mile from the center of Duck. We had bikes to rent to go into town. We loved to walk or ride through the condo property to get to the beach, condo pool and tennis court. So overall it was an good location. The condo itself was good with an outdoor shower, available wagon for the beach and enough room for our family of 4. Parking under the condo in the open space kept the car cool and was easy to come and go. It could use some updating, repairs in a few places and we needed to buy garbage bags and more toilet paper. But the owner took note of our feedback and it was a good stay for us. The stairs and entry might make it hard for an older couple or a family with younger kids but for our two tween daughters, my wife and I—it wasn’t a problem. Communication with the owner was good. Duck is a nice area to stay in OBX. I would recommend this stay. It’s not fancy but it’s a perfect location and has great condo amenities.

Great Vacation

This was our first time renting a beach property and it was a really good experience. Everything we needed was there. It was a nice walk to the beach and everything worked. The pool was clean, the grounds were well maintained and the neighbors were friendly. The owner was extremely responsive. Walking distance to Duck for good food , especially the donuts and ice cream. It pays to arrive and leave on a Friday, no traffic concerns. We would us again.

Perfect getaway!

We loved our stay in this lovely condo. House had everything that we need, kitchen was stocked with all that you could need if you decide to cook. Very convenient location. Walking distance from the beach, less then 5 minutes, and the pool. And less then a mile from city of Duck.

Lovely, relaxing week at a charming townhome in Duck

We spent a week at this lovely townhouse in mid-September. It was just my older parents and I, and the two-bedroom, two and a half bath was perfect for the three of us. The kitchen was very well stocked - enough pots, pans, and knick knacks for our cooking needs, along with a drip coffee maker and one of those pod coffee machines. The living room furniture was very comfy for relaxing after our days spent on the beach or exploring the nearby town center of Duck - just one mile away, and accessible by a paved walking/biking path. The beach itself was about a five-minute walk away, and a thirty-second drive - the home comes with a parking pass, which was useful for driving my father with mobility issues down to the beach and hauling all of our beach gear. There is also a beach wagon to haul your beach gear if your group is able bodied. Sheets and bath towels are provided in each room - one king and one queen - but I would suggest bringing your own duvet covers for the quilts (personal preference), and you do need to bring your own beach towels. The house has a laundry line to hang your towels and swimsuits on at the end of the day, a washer and dryer, and an outdoor shower to take in that beach breeze. All in all, a great stay in a very suitable home for my family for the week.

GREAT EXPERIENCE

The condo is in a perfect area - short walk down the road to a quiet beach and less than 1 mile from the village of Duck. It comes stocked with everything needed for a week at the beach. We had a wonderful week!
