Beautiful Views and Peaceful Seclusion

  • 5 of 5

We found this California retreat searching the internet for a vacation rental by the week in Napa Valley. We read the other reviews and decided to give it a try. We contacted the owner and received a quick and detailed response. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner and given a very detailed tour of house and its amenities. After the tours, the owner left us be and we immediately found the hot tub and could barely believe the views that surrounded us as we literally soaked it all in. The wildlife around the house is pretty neat. We saw turkey, deer and even found a few road runners poking around.

Overall the house was great! It was clean, organized and well stocked. We enjoyed the huge deck and the loungers in the evening as we watched the stars. We made were able to make quick trips into town for supplies and we enjoyed the close proximity to all of the vineyards. All of the goodies we brought back to stuff ourselves with fit nicely in the fridge. We really had a great time.

If you’re thinking about taking a week to see Napa Valley, you would be hard pressed to find a better place to stay. It was peaceful and secluded with amazing views.

We will definitely be back.

Nice Property and House

  • 5 of 5

We stayed three nights at the Hacienda in August 2017. The weather was perfect. The house is about an eight to ten minute drive west of Calistoga. The house was a perfect size for 5 of us. Leigh has the house provided with about everything one would want. The house is secluded and in the county. Very quiet day and night. Nice views from the deck in the evenings. Leigh meet us first thing when we showed up and gave us a tour of the house and how everything worked which was very helpful. We had no issues and loved staying here. Wish we could have stayed longer but San Francisco was calling. Thanks for letting us stay Leigh!

So peaceful and I love all the art!

  • 5 of 5

I love all the art, furniture and decor! I keep finding cool pieces to look at and enjoy at every turn. Easy drive into Napa. We were in town for BottleRock so we didn't get to go to any wineries but we sure drove past them and saw many at BottleRock. It was so great after a long day to come back to the quiet peaceful villa. Definitely recommend this villa!

Rustic, charming and private!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were in Calistoga for a wedding and stayed at Leigh's hacienda Mar 22-26, 2017. Her property was just 5 minutes from the wedding venue. The total price was less than Calistoga hotels and the hacienda's 2nd bedroom allowed our son and his wife to stay with us for a couple nights before they moved on to join the wedding party. The hacienda is located at the top of a hill and is less than a 10-minute drive into Calistoga. The views from the deck are spectacular. If you like peace and quiet and privacy, this is your place. It's not the Ritz but it's clean and everything you need is provided: wifi, Direct TV, soap, shampoo, bath tissue, towels, kitchen supplies and seasonings. The second bedroom and bath are not as comfy or large as the main bedroom and bath, so if two couples are sharing, the 2nd couple might feel a little shortchanged but in our case, our son and daughter-in-law stayed as our guests and they liked the "free" accommodations just fine. I'd describe the overall house as rustic and charming. It's everything we needed and Leigh is very sweet and a great communicator. I'd definitely stay again.

Leigh: Maps of area wineries would be helpful to plan our daily outings. We got them from a winery but if they were available at your hacienda, even better!

Rustic and charming house with lots of privacy

My husband and I were in Calistoga for a wedding and stayed at Leigh's hacienda Mar 22-26, 2017. Her property was just 5 minutes from the wedding venue and she was offering a 4th night free. The total price was less than Calistoga hotels and the hacienda's 2nd bedroom allowed our son and his wife to stay with us for a couple nights before they moved on to join the wedding party. The hacienda is located at the top of a windy, mostly dirt road and is about a 10-minute drive into Calistoga. The views from the deck are spectacular. If you like peace and quiet and privacy, this is your place. It's not the Ritz but it's clean and everything you need is provided: wifi, Direct TV, soap, shampoo, bath tissue, towels, kitchen supplies and seasonings.
