Retiro tranquilo para dos adultos! La cabaña Heron Dance es una cabaña única y encantadora decorada con antigüedades y muebles cómodos. Ubicación privada y directa frente al lago: punta del punto Kibbe muy privado que se adentra en el lago Champlain. Rodeado por 200 acres de exuberantes prados y la orilla del lago. Gran observación de aves. La mejor pesca alrededor del punto de partida. Balsa de natación. Excepcional calidad del agua. 25 minutos al norte de Burlington; 90 minutos al sur de Montreal. Jan is a wonderful host and the cottage was the perfect place for a week of tranquility and rest. Extraordinary swimming! A little difficult to get in the water over the rocks until you find your best path, and definitely bring swim shoes, but it’s heavenly in there! Lake and neighbors are quiet, meals on the deck and drinks by the water are gorgeous. We can’t wait to go back! Can’t say enough how lovely it is.

This is a beautiful quiet spot on Lake Champlain. There is a lovely patio for relaxing or eating and an addition deck a few steps down to enjoy the views. This small house is clean and just enough for two. The cookware is in very good condition. The bath is a bit rustic. The beach is very rocky and just ok for swimming. There are beaches nearby to swim.

Relaxing Getaway

We had a wonderful relaxing stay. Everything was very welcoming. The cottage is decorated beautifully and the views are amazing. We were a little early for peak foliage viewing but still beautiful.

Awesome waterfront view, very relaxing, and peaceful. Great sunrise views from both the decks and inside. Perfect place for 2.Host was nice and accessible.Wifi speeds were too low and too inconsistent to support streaming (2-10MBs).

Relaxing by the Lake

Heron Dance cottage was a quiet and peaceful getaway. In a great location, this cottage was well outfitted for preparing meals, contained comfortable furniture and the bed was firm. The views out to the Lake were exceptional. The landing and the way down to the Lake made for easy swimming. Jan was friendly and approachable. The neighborhood roads facilitated daily walks. We highly recommend this property.

The peace we needed:)

It was a perfect retreat. My wife and I had just finished a demanding school year and needed time for ourselves. Water surrounds and the peace that offered us was just what we needed to reconnect and downshift. Thanks, Jan. You guys keep such a lovely respite in great condition. Can’t wait until when we can return.

Cozy waterfront cottage with amazing views

We enjoyed our stay in the Heron Dance cottage, which was well appointed and thoughtfully decorated, and the amazing views from the deck(s) and cottage, which overall had a very pleasant tree-house-like feel. There are plenty of great restaurants to enjoy near by, but by choice we barely left the property except to enjoy a paddle. Great bird watching, fishing, panoramic views, and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. The list goes on. This is a great get-away with friendly and hospitable hosts.

Made in the shade

Neat small cabin. Good bed, tv, appliances. Cutting a dozen trees around the property would make it more enjoyable. By mid-morning any access to the sun was gone.

The cottage was a great size for one couple, and since that's what we were, it was perfect! Jan and Sue were wonderful hosts - available if we needed them and unobtrusive when we didn't. They are right up the hill from the cottage. The only negatives I had were the size of the bath/shower (but it didn't detract from our overall stay in any way) and the walk down to the cabin from the parking area, which wasn't noted anywhere on the listing site. For two people in their 70's, it was a bit difficult to schlep all our belongings in and back out when we left. If ever in the Lake Champlain area, I'd definitely recommend this cabin!

Beautiful views. Comfortable small cottage. Very clean! Cottage is very well stocked with everything. Lots of stairs to rocky beach. We wanted peace and relaxation and beautiful views. Which we got! My husband and I managed to get our kayaks down the stairs, although it was tough. He got in plenty of fishing!

Relaxing stay

I wasn't sure what to expect having never been to Vermont, but I liked the location & our daily drive from Burlington back & forth to the property. Every evening upon returning, we would look for the deer. Plenty of wildlife like chipmunks & squirrels to watch as you relax. There are local options in South Hero as well as North Hero. Lovely place.

Nice rustic retreat

A nice, remote cottage, great for relaxing and disconnecting. Excellent nearby hikes for fun times in the woods. If you have dogs, be careful of the rocks by the lakeshore as they can cut up the pads on their paws.

Heron Dance Cottage Review

We had a wonderful week staying at this beautiful property overlooking Lake Champlain. The sunrise views were unbelievably beautiful! The cottage was nicely furnished and well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of this secluded and tranquil location, and loved that it was also close to parks, restaurants, stores, and other conveniences. Thank you!

A wonderful cottage on Keeler Bay. So peaceful and quiet! Cottage is rustic but has everything you need. The owner is there on the property for any questions but does not intrude.

Breathtaking Views

The cottage/cottage was absolutely the perfect "home base" for our trip to Vermont. Jan was a delightful host - so thoughtful and kind! The space is perfect for a couple. It has a nicely appointed kitchen - we cooked light meals most evenings after sightseeing each day and enjoyed the 180 degree views of Lake Champlain! It is a little bit off the beaten path, but the view makes it completely worth it! We would absolutely recommend this property!

Peace and serenity

This little cottage was perfect for just what we wanted and needed. Two outside decks over-looking the lake, window with amazing views, mountains, quiet, stars in a dark sky. Comfortable bed and furniture inside and out. Deer in the field at dusk. Everything you could possibly need in the house and a friendly host. And, burlington less than thirty minutes away when you do feel like trying some wonderful restaurants. This stay checked all the boxes. I want to return soon!

Calm and relaxing

We loved every part of our stay. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. The foliage was like something out of a book. We loved our visit to the surgarbush maple farm. Great cheese and syrup. The cottage had everything we needed. The only thing we did not like was the size of the bathroom. The shower was small. The bed was very comfortable. The cable is local but we got watch shows we had not seen in a long time the small amount of time we were there. Jan was a great host. We hated to leave.
