Quiet neighborhood with easy access to freeway but not so close you hear it. Space is well maintained with nice touches. We enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing spot to unwind

This had exactly what we needed - a lovely place to relax. Comfy king sized bed, great little kitchen perfect for simple meals and a nice couch to relax on. Would definitely come back!

Excellent stay

My family enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds, a nice kitchen, two tvs. The neighborhood was quiet and the location was a short 18 min drive to the beach.

Chula Vista Stay

Our stay was close to everything we were doing in town. Although parking was crowded, we always seem to find a spot as needed. House was very very clean and accommodated all our needs for a extended weekend. Quiet neighborhood.

Great place !! Clean and kept up !

We enjoyed our stay very much ….. the place had all we needed. Only one night the cul de sac had no space for parking so we had to park on the street but that was not a big deal . Very nice ! We would stay there again :)

Cottage Like Suite

The suite is small but feels larger then it is. Well appropriated and beautifully decorated. The location is great in a quiet neighborhood. I want to mention the adorable private patio! Great for breakfast outside!!

Cute, clean and comfortable

Very enjoyable stay, good location for us to be close to family. My only concern was parking - it was street parking and weekdays there were a lot of cars. However, evening and weekends there was more space available. We will definitely stay there again when visiting family.

Very Cute - Would Stay Again

We stayed here for two nights on a recent family vacation to San Diego with our two teenage kids. This is a very cute property, and although small, we were all very comfortable here. It was immaculate and well-equipped, and the host was very friendly and communicative. It's about a 30-min drive to downtown San Diego, but we found it to be a fine location for getting around to everything we wanted to see (we stayed out all day and didn't return until the evenings, anyways). We would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Lovely suite

As other reviewers have said, this is a new, well set up suite that is super clean in a friendly neighbourhood. We were able to find one spot to park in, right out in front of the house every time we needed one- so no issues with parking for us. Thank you to the hosts!

Pleasant place to stay

It was great. My only suggestions to improve: 1. Leave more than one shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. One of each for two adults staying four nights didn’t suffice. 2. The sink needs a stopper to make doing dishes more convenient.

Good for a long weekend

The property looked as described. It is a guest house attached to the main house. We never heard them and felt separate and private. There is only street parking so just be mindful of that. We easily visited points of interest in San Diego and were never more than a 25 min drive. We stayed in Chula Vista to stay close to our friends that were hosting an retirement party and the reason for our trip.

Great base of stay

I worked remotely for most of a week and then visited (medically vulnerable) family, and it was perfectly clean, convenient, and comfortable. At home I drive a very small car, and my rental was an SUV, so I had to adjust for the street parking. The kitchen was rental-adequate--all the basics present minus an oven. Coffee was Keurig-only, which is not my personal preference, but I managed with tea instead. Clean, quiet, comfortable little space. Very responsive owner with all my questions--had there been any issues, I'm sure she would have tackled them efficiently.
