Great Location

My family and I loved the property's location. It's central and very close to many amenities, including the supermarket, private beach, pool, and biking trails. The area is quiet and beautiful. The unit itself is cute and comfortable, but the floors are uneven and squeaky. Additionally, the front and back of the unit are a bit unkempt, with overgrown weeds by the grill and bugs/webs around the front door that haven't been cleaned. Highly recommend this place.

Perfect for us

Spacious rooms. Comfy beds. Quality linens. Nice updated master bathroom. Good kitchen cookware. All appliances had been updated. Quiet neighborhood. Nice view of hole #7 green. We stayed for a month. Quirky floors that we got used to. Quirky kitchen sink that made us giggle. Worked with it. Loved our stay! Already rented for next February, so we have to look elsewhere.

Property just needs some attention

When we first arrived we were met with cobwebs and dead bugs outside the front door. Kind of gross. The master bedroom and bathroom are in great need of painting. The locks on both patio doors needed to be replaced. The bedroom patio door was difficult to operate and the dining room was broken and replaced with a not very secure lock system. The vinyl clad floors made noise when you walk on them (bad installation) It was difficult to close the master bedroom closet door. Annoying. On a positive note. Host to Coast was great. Very nice touch with the welcome gifts. The location was great as was the furniture.

We had a great time! We cooked every night. The kitchen was outfitted with everything that we needed. The grill was in working condition. We grilled out more than once.we loved having Netflix and Amazon prime on the T.V. My granddaughter watched Stuart little and had a ball, all in all it was a great place to stay. Beds were comfortable bathrooms were clean kitchen was clean and we will be back.

Rent bikes to ride to the beach

The overall stay was pleasant, nice condo, liked renovated bathrooms and good mattress in the master. Carpet needs cleaning in the master, everything else is ok. We were happy we rented bikes for the whole family. Made our trips to the beach more fun!

Host was amazing from booking through check out. Property is perfectly located to all amenities Hilton Head Island has to offer. Very spacious unit exactly as seen in listing. Not fan of carpet in the bedrooms.

We did have some issues in our condo . Biggest issue was there were several nails sticking out of the flooring which made us have to keep shoes on at all times when walking around the condo . Enough that Two family members torn their socks and had to throw away their socks . If we had a small child who torn their foot on that nail it would have been bad . We tried to move one of the rugs to cover it but then we discovered several more under the rug . Otherwise the condo was a nice getaway .

Wasn’t a real issue for us but should be noted.

We had so much fun biking to the beach, playing cards, cooking and watching Netflix. Very comfortable unit with a beautiful golf course view. We loved the pool as well. There was one minor issue with the master closet door, which was quickly fixed once we called management. Highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time at this condo. When we had an issue with the dryer the property manager communicated with us quickly and efficiently, and the issue was resolved. Great location!

Beautiful and relaxing.

We had a wonderful week! The villa is comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the surroundings and thoroughly enjoyed the table out back with all the birds and anoles and gorgeous trees. The magnolia tree was in bloom and smelled so nice. The master shower was fantastic! Comfortable beds. Cozy villa., yet plenty of room for the five of us. We have been coming to HHI for over 30 years, and this is the first time we stayed in Evian. It is beautiful! Host2Coast is great and provided all the extras that made the villa and our vacation even more enjoyable. Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful bike paths throughout and easy bike ride to beach access at the Sonesta. Shipyard seems like a secret gem on HH to escape the crowds. The property itself is a bit quirky as described in other reviews but it is very comfortable, new appliances, easy parking and the outside bistro table is wonderful for morning coffee watching the golfers. It is a first floor unit with another unit above. Property managers were excellent.

Quick first time visit to Hilton Head - Shipyards

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hard to compare since it was our first time to Hilton Head and it was a challenge to decide where to stay. But we were happy with the location of this rental. The Shipyards is a beautiful area and it was a pleasant 12 minute walk to the beach. We rented bikes and were able to explore most of the island. The interior of the rental is identical to the pictures on-line. Furnishings and bedding are very comfortable and in very good shape. Kitchen looks to be well stocked for cooking though we only used the kitchen for breakfasts. Coffee mugs were looking a little dated and stained. Bathrooms were fine, master one had lots of room and shower was updated. We had one very minor issue with figuring how to lock the back patio door and it was dealt with very quickly by host2coast. Also lovely welcome package on arrival. Pick up of gate pass and entry into rental was very easy. Only criticism of the rental would be the same issues that a previous review stated. The flooring seems to be incorrectly installed in some places, the floor is bouncy when you walk on it, the kitchen cabinets are old and have been painted in what looks like a short term fix and the backsplash tiling is also not a great job. It is all cosmetic and even though I agree with the previous reviewer it is not a major issue. I think that painting the master bathroom, walk in closet, doors/trim and new doorknobs (some are almost falling off) would be a great final touch. Overall we had a comfortable stay, we would rent from host2coast again and look forward to returning to Hilton Head.

Reviewer Comments: Thank you for your request to have a review for our stay at 226 Evian in Shipyard.My husband and I are 64 years of age and in very good health and try to maintain an active lifestyle.We are generally easy going people and tend to adapt ourselves to the environment that we are put in.firstly we would like to comment on the level of service from Host2Coast. We were totally impressed and pleased with the service we received, from the moment we booked and also during our stay. Any correspondence we had was immediately responded to, even in the off hours. The recommendation about the community pickleball courts on Cordillo Parkway was much appreciated!(we played pickleball twice a day everyday!) Thank you!We have stayed on Hilton Head island 5 times in the past 4 years, 3 times in Sea Pines, once in Palmetto dunes and once in Shipyards, and unfortunately this rental was by far the least in general condition and amenities (same price range).Our opinion of the condo is as follows. This is a classic example of "pictures don't lie" what you see is what is there, but the pictures are much better than the actual condition of the condo. Here are our observations of the condo:1. Floors are in extremely poor shape, new flooring simply is covering up bigger problems!2. Kitchen cupboards are in very poor shape, and the paint job was very sloppy!3.Installation of tiled backsplash very poorly done.4.Dishwasher is not properly installed, every time you opened it you had to make sure it did not fall out of the opening.5.Kitchen amenities were very basic and limited. A bit of money invested here in the form of better cutlery and knives and dishware would go a long way to improve the kitchen experience.6. Most visitors do not bring their own clothes hangers with them, so providing more hangers is suggested.We enjoyed our stay on HHI and greatly appreciated the level of service from Host2Coast and we would definitely rent through
