Welcome to Smoky Mountain Highlander, a charming 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath cabin nestled in Chalet Village—just 3 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Wake up to stunning views of Mt. LeConte from the upper deck with your morning coffee, or unwind in the hot tub on the lower deck as the sun sets behind the peaks. Inside, the main level features an open-concept kitchen and living area with vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a wood-burning fireplace—perfect for cozy gatherings.

The cabin comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests:

Two queen bedrooms, each with a full bath

A queen sleeper sofa in the lower-level rec room

A convenient half bath downstairs

The loft offers a quiet nook for reading or relaxing, while the rec room downstairs includes a pool table and lounge space that opens to the hot tub deck.

Located just 15 minutes from the excitement of Pigeon Forge, this mountain retreat offers both serenity and easy access to local attractions. Please note: roads are paved but steep—4WD or snow chains may be required during winter weather.

I grabbed this one so we could have a Mountain view when we woke up, and it does. Bears on the first day, wildlife everyday around us, and the scenery and the comfort inside was amazing. Love the game room the multiple decks and couldn't be happier.

Really nice Cabin for the price. Not far off Ski Mountain Road and 5 minutes from Downtown Gatlinburg. Great view and the open window side was nice to wake up to. Little bit hard to get in and out of as its at the end of the dead end road, but still not a big deal. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

Overall, this was a nice place to stay. Plenty of room and nice decor. View was great and had lots of privacy. Even though some things had been remodeled, there were other things that could stand to be redone. For the most part, the facility was clean - bathrooms, especially. There was some dust and cobwebs in places.

Enjoyed our stay, had fun teaching my Grandson to play pool. Nice hot tub, but only used one time. Everything we needed was there. Also enjoyed a few bear sightings, none were too close for comfort, but close enough to see good.

Overall had a great stay. Great views and a few furry guests. Plenty of room for the whole family. The only issues we had were that some of the dishes were either dirty or in poor condition, some kitchen essentials were missing (any kind of storage [tin foil, plastic wrap, etc.], and antibacterial hand soap), and generally the cleaners seemed to have done a mediocre job (dust and cobwebs all over, mildew in the shower (especially in the window), and a couple other things).

Private home with lots of trees. We saw bears every day, which was a treat for us folks from Texas. We enjoyed the hot tub. The beds were comfy. The 2nd bathroom is for baths only - no shower option, so the four of us had to use the one shower downstairs.

Very nice day at a very nice cabin at the top of a hill. The driveway can be a little intimidating initially, but it's workable! The views from the cabin are totally worth it. The beds are very comfortable and everything was nice and clean. Rebecca was a great host, and answered questions for us very promptly. Overall a very nice way to visit the Gatlinburg/SM National Park area

Rented cabin for four days-my sister-in-law & myself for a girl's getaway. Has everything you need for a great, relaxing stay. Accessing the cabin was so simple, host was available on a moment's notice if there were any problems & there was only one. Had an issue with the tv, one phone call & problem solved. Yes, it was due to my ignorance but host was kind & understanding & walked me through. Lots of room, beds were very comfortable, the views from the deck are beautiful. Plenty of seating; inside & out. It has all the amenities of home & just makes you feel at ease. The drive up to the cabin was a bit intimidating but this 72 year old handled the drive every day we were there. Do wish we could've been there a little later in the fall, all that foliage turning colors would've been absolutely amazing. I highly recommend & hopefully next trip we can schedule our trip for nature's fall show.

The property is clean but some floor boards and the downstairs bathroom walls were not clean. We had a power outage that the host could not control. There were not any flashlights or any lighting available. There was not any follow up from the host once the power finally came back on.

The views were gorgeous and the kitchen was fully stocked! It was very steep getting up the driveway but nice being at the top of the mountain. It took about 5-7 minutes to get into downtown Gatlinburg and over mountain which was super convenient! We loved staying here!

We stayed for the weekend and it was so great the host was so helpful we were unaware of the snow storm coming and the Host was just so informative about the area and the roads and it was great to have her checking in on us because it was a lot of snow that build up. Also everything worked flawlessly the hot water was great and the hot tub was nice and hot overall jus a great gateway for the weekend we couldn’t be more pleased with our stay thank you so much..

The house was excellent. The back deck looked out over Gatlinburg allowing us to watch the tram on Ober mountain. Being at the end of the road, we had minimal distraction from neighbors. I would imagine the view with the leaves changing would be indescribable. The dining table provided us with a great amount of space to play games. We were able to communicate with the host very easily. Ease of access to Great Smoky Mountains National Park and downtown Gatlinburg was absolute perfection.

This is the best cabin we’ve stayed at. The views were phenomenal, the cabin was super clean and we saw bears a few times through the week. Would 110% recommend.
