Mission / Positioning
Suite 17B is Medical Transition Housing near Anschutz Medical Campus, Children’s Hospital Colorado, and the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. This pet-friendly garden-level suite is designed as a stable residential home base for patients, families, caregivers, Healthcare professionals, medical trainees, and clinical staff on extended assignments navigating longer stays.
Who This Is For
This quiet, low-stimulus residential home base is intentionally designed for the day-to-day lifestyle continuity of:
✔ Patients traveling for active treatment
✔ Caregivers supporting a loved one’s recovery path
✔ Healthcare professionals, medical trainees, and clinical staff on extended assignments
✔ Families navigating time-bound medical transitions, recovery, or clinical placements
Core Value Drivers: Emotional Relief, Companionship & Warmth
A Natural Break from Clinical Corridors
Extended medical stays can make your world feel incredibly small. Suite 17B provides a peaceful residential setting where guests can step away from hospitals, offices, and dense apartment living to enjoy fresh air, mature trees, seasonal wildlife, and a calmer neighborhood rhythm that supports emotional decompression during longer stays.
Healing Without Separation
Major life transitions are difficult enough without being separated from a beloved companion animal. Approved dogs and cats are welcome, helping families preserve familiar routines, emotional continuity, and a sense of normalcy when much of life feels uncertain.
A Humanized Alternative to Temporary Housing
Recovery, caregiving, and relocation often involve spending time in environments that feel transactional and impersonal. Rooted in authentic Kenyan hospitality, Suite 17B is intentionally designed to feel warm, lived-in, and welcoming—creating a sense of home rather than simply providing a place to stay.

Suite Features: Stability, Independence & Everyday Continuity
Comfort That Doesn't Fight You
Recovery, caregiving, and relocation become harder when your environment creates additional stress. Suite 17B supports comfort through quiet hydronic radiant heat, flexible light management, cooling options, and continuous HEPA air filtration. The result is a stable environment that works quietly in the background while you focus on recovery, caregiving, work responsibilities, or daily life.
Preserving Personal Independence
Extended stays should not require sacrificing normal routines. A private in-unit washer and dryer and a full kitchen with full-sized appliances help reduce household friction, preserve privacy, and support day-to-day lifestyle continuity throughout longer stays.
Staying Connected to What Matters
Medical transitions often involve telehealth appointments, insurance coordination, remote work, and family communication. Reliable connectivity helps support these responsibilities, while the 65-inch Smart TV provides a place to mentally disconnect when the day is done.
Rest That Adapts to You
Physical comfort is personal. The sleeping environment includes a supportive mattress, adjustable padding options, and additional protective bedding available upon request for specific recovery or linen-protection needs.
Everyday Function Without Added Friction
The suite supports daily independence through a private entrance, traditional tub/shower combination, attached private garage, and direct indoor access from vehicle to residence. These features simplify arrivals, departures, and everyday routines while reducing exposure to weather and public activity.
LOCATION / PRACTICAL ACCESS
Practical Medical & Professional Access
Suite 17B is positioned to reduce travel burden and simplify recurring commutes throughout the Denver Metro area. The residence is approximately 10 minutes (~3 miles) from Anschutz Medical Campus and Children's Hospital Colorado, 12 minutes (<4 miles) from the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, and approximately 20 minutes (~5 miles) from the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute. This location also provides practical access to regional employers, major routes, shopping, dining, pharmacies, grocery stores, and everyday services.
Local Knowledge & Neighborhood Guidance
Guests receive practical recommendations for nearby medical facilities, pharmacies, grocery stores, restaurants, parks, lakes, and everyday services to help them settle in quickly, navigate the area with greater confidence, and identify places for fresh air and decompression during demanding stays.
Privacy, Independence & Reduced Friction
The living experience is intentionally structured around privacy, professional boundaries, and guest independence. Secure self-check-in, automated systems, written guides, guest manuals, first-arrival guides, self-checkout procedures, and direct owner oversight help minimize unnecessary interruptions while maintaining a clear path for property-related support.
Operational Flexibility & Transition Support
Medical timelines do not always follow a schedule. When availability permits, guests may request early check-in, late checkout, stay extensions, or transfers within KFR's four-suite portfolio. Standard incidental safeguards are processed as a temporary electronic authorization hold rather than an upfront cash deposit, helping reduce initial move-in costs while keeping arrival and departure expectations predictable.
