What an amazing home and location for Ironman Lake Placid! The property was clean and very quiet plus located in a great location. My family and I drove up from South Carolina for Ironman Lake Placid and were able to check in a little early which was amazing considering the long drive really took a toll on us. Ironman village was a quick 12 min walk which was very convenient come race morning. My family was able to get a great spot on the main road for the race to cheer people on plus it was right by an aid station so it had a lot of action all day. We have already talked about coming back to visit and exploring all the great outdoor activities Placid has to offer and we would definitely stay here again if we had the opportunity!
This place accommodated two families with young adults easily. Everyone had their own private areas and bathrooms. It was a healthy walk into town and we found so many fun things to do! Skiing, bowling, shopping it was all close by.
Laura was super easy to communicate with. We loved the house. Everything was cozy, clean and as described. The bear theme was the cheer on top - especially the coffee table!
Room was exactly as advertised. The basement bedroom was clean and useable.(some other places smell moldy) Clean and practical layout. I would definitely rent this location in the future.
Our stay was even better than expected. The house was very close to all Olympic venues. Short walk to main st. Clean and organized. The kitchen was well equipped. Loved that we didn’t have to pack linens and towels. Beds were comfortable and there was a bath and shower on each floor. We loved the fireplace. There was plenty of wood. So nice to light a cozy fire after a day of skiing. Would definitely come back!!
Large townhouse close to downtown and event centers
We enjoyed our stay at this property. It suited our accommodation requirements for 6 adults, but would fit more people if needed! We loved being able to use the fireplace as well and enjoyed it both evenings of our stay.
We loved our stay, house is cozy, comfortable, well equipped, in a great location, and beautiful snow covered trees out every window. We loved it and hope to return next year. Highly recommended. Host was very easy to communicate with.
The house and location were great. Bedrooms were a good size and three bathrooms are a big plus. Very close to Lake City Town and Ski Jump. Two parking spots are perfect and very easy to navigate the area.
Wonderful condo for we 5 elderly lacrosse players. Clean, roomy and well appointed. Everything worked and nice to have a washer and drying for after the rain and mud! Would recommend and will stay again if available.
We were in Lake Placid for a competition. It was close enough to the Olympic Center to walk and a very short drive. There was plenty of space- four bedrooms with plenty of beds, two common spaces and the kitchen. The place was in good condition. Did not have any issues. I would stay there again.
The townhouse was perfect for our group. Only downside was the 12 steps leading to our front door, which presented some difficulty for us 70-year olds with luggage. The deck was great for after dinner drinks and conversation. Would rent again in a heartbeat.
Great home-like setting, space for all ages as well as for full gatherings, with ottomans!
Clean, well equipped, good location, quiet, private with lots of pines to make us feel "in the woods". Long set of stairs down into this hillside property were a little daunting at first, but we soon discovered a less steep fewer steps stair case very nearby. Grammas were then very happy. 3 generations pronounced lets come back!
We loved the lodge accommodations, location and cleanliness upon arrival. Our only mild complaint was one tv in the basement and none in other rooms. The kids loved the bunk beds and argued over who got the top bunk. Parking was great as we arrived with two cars. We ate out a lot and didn’t use the kitchen but it was well stocked with utensils, plates, silverware etc. we hand washed our plates and coffee cups. If we had access to a vacuum we would have cleaned more. Laundry was done before we left and loaded it before we checked out.
This house was perfect for our group of two families. The teens loved having the bottom level all to themselves. We were surprised when the main level didn’t have a tv but spent every night relaxing as a group with the fire and conversation. The kitchen table was a perfect fit for the 8 of us to play cards and games. The location into town was a nice walk despite the cold weather. Laura responded quickly and effectively to the few questions we had.
We all agreed that this was a top rental choice as we do this annually. We hope to be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This place was exactly what ski home should be. It was large enough that my kids had options of where to sleep (ages 4, 6, 8, 10) and offered one TV that was not in the "main" living space. The main living space had a cozy fireplace, couch and 2 recliners chairs. Kitchen had all the necessary utilities including drip coffee maker. Mud room was great for shoe drop. Popular restaurant within walking distance. Less than 15min to Olympic Village and town strip. About 10min to closest supermarket. Approx. 25min to Whiteface mountain. Really an excellent place to stay for our week away during the kids winter break. Would absolutely recommend!
