THINGS TO KNOW

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Family Vacation

The location was great in terms of having access to the beach and being able to come and go as we needed. We were able to walk to a number of locations, which was nice. It was helpful having the two shower components and sprayer hose before entering the residence to remove sand. The unit also has additional boogie boards and cool stuff for the beach. We brought our own, but it was nice having access to those items if needed. The unit itself was comfortable, but there were some minor issues. My kids found a spoon and dust underneath one of the beds. Furthermore, the drain rack pad for the dishes and coffee pot were completely dirty. In the space by the kitchen heading towards the living room, the wood floor had a few soft spots. Also the bathroom for the master bedroom or largest bedroom had hair on the floor. Overall, the place was quiet and peaceful. It does need to improve with how the place is cleaned.
