Despierte y pesque con mosca a pocos pasos de nuestra cabaña en algunas de las aguas más claras y vírgenes del norte de Georgia y en algunas de las mejores truchas de pesca en las montañas. Castaway Cabin was an amazing location and had everything you could want for a comfortable getaway. We could not have been more thrilled with cabin and all the amenities. To top it off, Rick and Janet are amazing hosts. Such great hospitality during our stay and communication before our arrival was perfect. I highly recommend staying here if you are coming to the Blue Ridge area, especially if you are interested in fishing.

This cabin is fantastic! Perfect location on the Toccoa River if you like fishing, hiking, or just being outdoors. I was there for a weekend fly fishing trip. Great fishing literally out the front door. Cabin amenities and condition are excellent. Rick is an incredible host, made me feel right at home. Highly recommend!

Host was the best I have ever experienced in my travels. Home was beautifully decorated and had so many amenities. The view to experience the amazing river was breathtaking. Our pets enjoyed the host and accommodations. My family really relaxed in this serene atmosphere.

This home is amazing! We were a little nervous to stay in a place where the owner also lived there. You would have never known! Rick was so kind and gave us a tour and told us the best fishing spots for the boys to fish. They even had brownies! We will definitely come back! It was so clean and just a beautiful setting! We love it here!

The perfect cabin on the water. Mr Rick was amazing. He welcomed us and showed us around. The next day he showed my son fishing spots. We had the best trip and will definitely be back.

Cozy River Retreat

The property was very clean and well equipped. Rick met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the place and explained all to us. He also gave my son, grand son and myself a tour of the area showing us the good fishing locations, river tubing locations, mountain trails for hiking and some unique land marks in the area. Rick was a great host and treated us like family. We had a very enjoyable week long stay and will do it again in the future

We fished, hiked and took in as much of the local flavors and folklore that we could. The Toccoa River setting is beautiful. The host met us at check in, insuring every need was met, offering advice and information, and a local tour that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Wonderful weekend getaway

We loved staying with Rick and Janet for a weekend in the woods. Their hospitality was so sweet and thoughtful. The cabin was cozy and felt like we were at our grandparents house. We had gorgeous weather and even though we didn’t catch a single fish, so much fun was had by all. We will be back!

Blue Ridge/Aska adventure area

Rick and his wife were absolutely the greatest host ever and went out of their way to make everything perfect! Cabin is situated on the upper toccoa river in blue ridge and makes for a perfect getaway for fishing or tubing or just relaxing . We will certainly be back! !

Loved the Location

We absolutely enjoyed the time we spent at the cabin. Rick and Janet were great hosts, from making us a pan of delicious brownies to a tour of the area with Rick. We have stayed in several vacation homes over the years but this one was the best furnished house of anyplace we’ve stayed. Everything we needed was there. It was just like being at our own home. Loved the location and we are already planning on going back!

The Best on Toccoa!!

Extremely happy with our stay, location is beyond perfect for fishing, floating and just relaxing. Cabin is super stocked and Rick is the best host we have ever encountered. Definitely going back!!

Beautiful Place!

The cabin has everything you need! Being close to the Tocooa river and Blue Ridge Lake allowed for multiple activities, excellent location. Lots of hiking around area and waterfalls. Will stay again! We were able to do s’mores, swimming, fishing, tubing multiple times, grilled food outdoors. MR. Rick had dry firewood for us with starter. Rick and Janet were excellent host, welcomed us with brownies which kids loved! Rick showed us around and kids loved the ride in his ATV!

20th Anniversary

An absolutely wonderful trip with an amazing host. Our rental was beautiful, clean and well stocked with anything we could have possibly needed. Rick went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and his sweet wife made us brownies that we enjoyed the whole weekend. Highly recommend!!

Just what we needed

Rick’s place was absolutely perfect for our family. It was clean, had everything we needed, and the river was just perfect. Mr Rick treated us like family; taught my daughter the best fishing holes, left us some bait, and made sure she and my son had a great time despite the rainy weather. We will be back.

Comfortable, gorgeous cabin & location!

We chose the Castaway Cabin for our annual family trip to the mountains & it was fantastic! We had my husband & I, our 12 & 9 year old kids, golden retriever pup & 1 grand parent. We had plenty of room, all accomodations needed & the hosts are very helpful with tips on the area, but also give you your space. The river is absolutely gorgeous with lots of outdoor activities: fire pit, horseshoes, kayaks & a privately owned river's edge, so lots of space to fish! We highly recommend this cabin!

It’s one of a kind water front with water falls on the Toccoa River! A great place to get away and relax! Trout fishing right in front of our cabin. Hiking trails by cabin. Only 15 minutes from downtown Blueridge.

It’s the best location on the Toccoa River. It’s very wide here and we have beautiful waterfalls that our guests enjoy playing in. Tubing fishing Diving the water is so clean and clear here! This river flows into lake Blueridge, coming out of the mountains from underneath springs. If you love the water and mountains this is the place for you !!
