About this property

Tiny home steps from the beach.

This home has everything you need for a week at the beach. Free standing small ( think tiny house) condo cottage, one of seven known as Moody Sands Villas. This cottage is 3 back from the beach. The loft area is tucked up under the roof, ceiling is low. You reach the loft via a library ladder. Best suited for older child or small adult, I love to go up there to read. Open the skylight and see hear and smell the ocean. Lay under the stars at night. There is a small soaking tub and hand held shower. Larger out door showers are also available. This home has only one parking spot, and early check in is not allowed without prior approval.

“Steps from the Beach”
The place is clean, communication with owner was good, but this little house hasn’t a single window from which you can see the beach. In hot summer weather, when you’re outside all the time, it might not matter as much, but we were there in the fall and would have preferred to see something other than the parking lot.

Quaint beachfront tiny home
The tiny cottage was cute and accurately described. Space is tight, however because of the beachfront location you won’t be spending time in the cottage. Bed, loft, sofa and dining furniture comfortable. Lots of great amenities on property, 2 grills, picnic tables, clothing lines to dry towels/bathing suits, hot out door showers, beach chairs, boogie boards, adarondic chairs overlooking the ocean.Would absolutely stay there again! :)

Great little beach cottage
The cottage is tiny, so best for a couple alone or with one child. Cheerful, beachy design, about 20 feet from a private beach. Beach towels and chairs provided, along with kitchen items. Great location, quick drive or long walk to Ogunquit with miles of beach to meander.

We absolutely loved this location. Cabin is small but works ok for 2 people.We spent so much time outside on the beach walking daily, and sitting on the Adirondack chairs every morning for coffee and beautiful ocean views.All neighbors were friendly and it was very quiet.we loved the outdoor showers.

My wife and I had a wonderful time on or stay. Just steps to the beach, beautiful walks, quiet and peaceful. Outdoor shower is a plus.

Very cute place, steps to lovely beach. Useful kitchen. Full bed takes up most of the space. Would benefit from a futon to make room to move & sit.

Cozy cabin steps away from the beach
We loved our short stay and the only complaint is that we wished it were longer! So awesome to walk outside and down the stairs right to the beach (especially at sunrise). We will be back!

Sweet cottage on the beach
We loved this little cottage! It was well equipped with everything we needed for 2 nights and it was right on Moody Beach. A little tight for 2 adults and a tall teen, but we made it work and it was a wonderful get away. We didn’t want to leave!

Perfect location for quality beach time
This rental perfectly suited my needs. I can't say enough positive things about it! The location is perfect for some quality beach time. The ocean is only steps away. The cottage is cozy, clean and bright. Trust the host's description! It is a tiny space (if you are a plus-sized person, you might want to verify details with the host) but it has everything you need. The host was an excellent communicator and gave me all the info I needed to have an enjoyable stay. This is a gem of a place, and I am so glad I found it. I would happily stay at this cottage again in the future!

Amazing location
The house was exactly what we were looking for. There were 6 units that were a 30 feet from, in my opinion, the nicest beach on the sea coast. We took our bikes up there and it was a great ride to downtown Ogunquit. The property manager was quick to respond with the few questions we had. Overall a great experience

It is a good thing the cleaning people were there to tell us how to get into the cottage, because we had no idea!!! Loved the cottage and location. A little pricey, but i didn't reserve till early June, so that could be my own fault. I would advise the owners to put a gate in the loft area. We forgot to leave a tip for the cleaning crew, feel really bad. They do a great job.
