Perfect Getaway to see Biltmore, Lake Lure, Black Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway

Entire 1st floor of a cute farmhouse nestled in a quiet mountain neighborhood. Enjoy the sound of crickets or peepers in the spring and summer or the rustling of leaves in the fall. We even enjoy an occasional snow fall in the winter months of January and February. If you feel like venturing out of this restful retreat, you’ll be only minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 15 from Biltmore Estate or Downtown Asheville, 20 from Black Mountain, and under 30 from Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. Full kitchen with dining room table, living room, and front porch with rockers. Come for Asheville’s hiking, sights, and treats, then cone home to rest and relax.

Things to note:
*This listing sits on top of a basement apartment. There are private entrances to both and no shared spaces except laundry which is accessed by separate locked entrances.

*There is no cable but there is Wifi.

Peaceful Getaway

The property was just as described! Not far from downtown Asheville but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. We spent a lot of time on porch just relaxing. Will definitely be coming back !!!!

Country living in Asheville

The house was so nice; it was in a beautiful country setting and very peaceful. We visited Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Black Mountain. We cooked breakfast everyday and several dinners in the big kitchen, which was well stocked. We had a wonderful time in this VRBO and I would recommend to anyone traveling to the Asheville area.

Wonderful stay at charming property.

We needed a comfortable place to stay close to nearby family over the Thanksgiving holiday and Joanna's place fit the bill perfectly! It was just a quick 5 minutes to our relatives' and also provided excellent easy access to Asheville attractions. Her place is spotlessly clean and well stocked with basic cookwear and eating utensils. The welcome board message, snack basket and chocolates on the pillows were a nice touch. There was plenty of quick, hot water for showers. The bed was oh so comfortable! Joanna was quick to respond to any questions we had. If you are a couple with no children or pets looking for a cozy place to stay convenient to all that Asheville and the surrounding area has to offer we would highly recommend this place.

What a Perfect Getaway!

This rental is so cozy and perfect for a couple’s getaway! We rented this for an anniversary trip to the Biltmore. I wanted a private space that was good for cozy nights in watching movies after busy days sightseeing, and that is what we got! We love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was amazing! She even left a sweet anniversary message and gift basket to welcome us. We will definitely book this again!

Loved this property! Beautiful, spacious, and loved the welcome note on the chalkboard and appreciated the snacks left by Joanna. Great location to travel to Chimney Rock, the Biltmore, and Sierra Nevada Brewing Company. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Joanna!

Beautiful country home

Our first VRBO experience couldn’t have been better! This lovely home situated in a beautiful country setting draws you in and makes you want to be part of it. Inside, it’s clean, tidy, spacious, comfortable and quiet. Just what we were looking for. It’s a quick and easy drive into Asheville from here. Joanna, our host, was so helpful and responsive and keeps this home well stocked. It has everything you need including a washer and dryer. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave!

Spacious Natural Light Beauty

I was very pleased with our stay, and our host Joanna was great! The space was clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, full of natural light and great views. The personalized message board, snack basket, and cozy throw blankets were the perfect extra touches. We enjoyed Daymoon Coffeebar and Turgua Brewing while in town, and visited all our favorite spots in Asheville just a short drive away. We hope to stay again!

The coziest and quietest little cabin very close to the heart of Asheville. This one is a winner.

This was one of my best VRBO experiences so far. The communication with Joanna was simple and quick. The house was very welcoming, clean, and usable. Sitting on the back porch and taking in the natural setting made you feel like you were in the middle of the woods, but a quick trip in your car and you can enjoy all that Asheville has to offer.

Super quiet, peaceful getaway

My husband and I picked this place to celebrate our joint birthdays in a place close to Asheville and Hendersonville but in quieter, more rural setting. We got exactly what we were looking for. This VRBO is the entire first floor of a house with a super spacious kitchen and bedroom, and a nice-sized living room with plenty of comfortable seating. It had everything we needed. The host, Joanna, was very responsive to all of our texts, always responding within minutes. She left us a gift basket of goodies with a note wishing us a Happy Birthday, and she also wished us a Happy Birthday on a kitchen chalkboard. How sweet! She also mailed me some earrings I accidentally left behind. So, you really couldn’t ask for more in a host. As for the tenant in the basement, we saw the person’s car come and go, but we never heard a peep out of them. When booking this place we had wondered if it would feel like we had an apartment beneath us with the sounds of a TV or running water, but we heard absolutely nothing. It felt like we were the only people in the house. I highly recommend this place for couples who want a nice place to just relax and get away from it all. We definitely would book this place again!

Summer Lacrosse Tournament Stay

Very clean and spacious VRBO, close to downtown and the fields. My civic had no issue going up neighborhood gravel/ ground road. But rain/ weather may interfere in colder months, consider using 4-wheel drive car.

Beautiful Relaxing Seting

The property is just a pictured in the profile and the home itself is set in a beautiful green pasture/hill. It was a very relaxing stay with time spent on the porch reading a looking at the view. Good location with short drives into Asheville and the Biltmore Village. I will certainly be back.

We enjoyed our stay! It was a short drive to downtown Asheville and nice that the property itself was in a quieter area. The house had all the basic essentials for the kitchen which helps for putting together snacks or a meal. Would recommend for a trip to Asheville!
