About this property

Minutes from Parkway, huge yard, spacious 4/3, pets welcome

When you arrive at Escapin' 9 to 5, the first thing you'll notice is the outdoor space. The expansive and relatively flat yard is a great place for yard games or fetch with Fido. As you explore the yard you'll see different views of mountains in the distance depending on your vantage point and framing of nearby trees. As you climb the stairs on the hill in the back to the pergola on top, you'll see the a more unobstructed view of the nearby mountains. We have parking for at least 5 passenger vehicles, but please only park on the paved areas.

Approach the front door and see the inviting porch complete with ceiling fans and plenty of seating, the perfect place to enjoy a glass of iced sweet tea or lemonade on a sunny afternoon. Once inside, the spacious living room features a gas fireplace, flat panel TV with roku and seating for the masses.

We love to cook and when we visit other vacation homes we often feel like we take half our kitchen. We tried to think of everything you might need, whether you're whipping up a quick weeknight meal, or making Sunday dinner for the whole family. Just off the dining room is an outdoor deck with plenty of seating.

The main level is also home to the king room with ensuite bathroom, and three additional king rooms, plus a large bathroom with a soaking tub. All bedrooms feature a flat panel TV, with Roku , and a walk in closet for your belongings. You'll find a laundry room with iron and ironing board, though we don’t encourage ironing on vacation.

Downstairs is a huge bonus room with a large flat panel TV with Roku and a Blu-ray player, surround sound with sofa and theater seating. The entertainment continues with an arcade game machine, pool table, ping pong table and dozens of board games. A kitchenette complete with a beverage cooler, sink, popcorn machine and microwave will ensure everyone is well hydrated and nourished while embarking on all the fun!

Just outside from the lower level is another outdoor deck where you'll find a 6 foot wind chime that makes such a soothing melody when the mountain breeze comes. Off to the side a separate deck which is home to a 4 person hot tub to soak and gaze up at the stars at night.

Escapin' 9 to 5 is conveniently located very close to Pigeon Forge, not only giving you quick access to the endless tourist attractions, but also restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and even a Starbucks. The Gatlinburg entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just 12 miles away, or the less popular (and also less congested) route to the Townsend entrance is only 17 miles away.

**While we do welcome (even celebrate) pets, we do ask that you message us for pre-approval to book if your travel party includes any pets. We do not impose weight or breed restrictions, but want to know that your pets are well behaved, house trained, and will be appropriately supervised during your stay. We also want to make sure you're aligned with our pet policy which we will send prior to booking with us***

Neighborhood Description:
Escapin' 9 to 5 sits on a relatively flat acre at the top of a quiet drive in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The home has softened well water which undergoes UV treatment.

Between Escapin' 9 to 5 and Pigeon Forge you'll see roadside access to the West Prong Little Pigeon River which is great for fishing, just make sure to get a fishing license.

Just past the fishing spot you'll reach the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, an easy 7 minute drive down a well maintained, two lane, paved road with no steep inclines or mountain switchbacks.

Guest Access:
During your stay you'll have access to the entire home, with the exception of an indoor maintenance room, the garage and an outdoor shed.

Getting Around:
A motor vehicle will be the best method of transportation in the area. While the distance to Pigeon Forge may appear 'walkable' to some, the roads are not pedestrian friendly and do include some inclines which may make walking very taxing. You may comfortably park at least 5 cars, but please no trailers, campers, RVs or other similar vehicles. Please only drive and/or park on the paved surfaces.

Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.
