About this property

Spacious and Bright Downtown APT with River View

Located in a quiet downtown neighborhood. Just a short walk to enjoy restaurants, brew pubs, café and quaint shops. Conveniently located - 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor and 35 minute drive to Bangor.

This upstairs apartment is open concept making it a great place to hang out and relax. The large windows offer views of the Union River where harbor seals, eagles and osprey have been spotted fishing. The neighborhood is walking, biking, running friendly. Just cross the road to get a coffee or amazing lobster roll. Right off of Route 1, this neighborhood is the perfect location for your Downeast vacation.

A set of stairs brings you right up to the apartment. There is a large kitchen stocked with the essentials. Eat at the counter or at the dining table. There is a desk in the main area if you need a place to work. Comfy reading nook. The TV has a Roku set to Guest Mode - log into your own streaming apps and the Roku will automatically sign you out at the end of your stay. Both bedrooms have comfortable king sized beds with large closets to store your belongings. The bathroom has a shower/tub and washer and dryer.

Parking for two vehicles in driveway. Downtown also offers plenty of free parking on the road or there is a parking lot at City Hall. Convenient public transportation - visit downeasttrans.org for current schedules and maps.

The property does have an exterior security camera that monitors the driveway area.

Acadia area 3-day stay

We found the location convenient for doing dinner and drinks in Ellsworth after spending the days in Acadia hiking, sailing, and kayaking. The place was spacious and the neighborhood quiet and within walking to everything in Ellsworth, and less than 40 from everything in Acadia.

Great place to visit the region

Well located, quiet. Super clean and well decorated. Very large appartment. I would strongly recommend to anyone who visit the Bar Harbor region for a few days. Owner provided all the required information about the appartment and places to visit. Perfect for our needs.

This apartment was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. Located within walking distance to the downtown area of Ellsworth, and only about 25-30 minutes from Bar Harbor. Apartment is immaculate, recently updated, and very comfortable. Easy to check in and out, all the and the overall atmosphere inside has a minimalist, relaxing feel to it.

Escape to Ellsworth

The property was newly and beautifully renovated. It was easy to get into town for meals and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. We appreciated the coffee setup, and the host's attention to detail. When we return to Ellsworth, we will definitely stay here again if it is available.

Comfy & Convenient

Convenient to Main Street shops & eateries in Ellsworth, just across the Union River. Comfortable, clean stay in a well updated, modernized structure that is part of the town history. Very comfortable beds. Nice (Dec) view of the river and town hall from the second floor. Cheers to our host, Mandy. Will definitely stay there again.

The apartment is updated and walkable to a quaint downtown with restaurants and shopping. There is an LL Bean outlet across town and it is convient to Acadia and Bar Harbor. It was a great central location to see all parts of the park and not the crowd of Bar Harbor. Very spacious for 4 people. Great response to questions from host.

Immaculate, smartly equipped, ideally located, comfortable in every way--and especially great bedding. Near perfect, with a responsive host and lacking only an electric drip coffeemaker for this caffeine hound. I'd go back in an Ellsworth minute.

Friend Trip to Acadia

We absolutely loved our stay in Ellsworth! One of our close couple friends wanted to check out Acadia National Park, and we spent a fair amount of time researching places to stay and things to do when we landed in Ellsworth. It's a little further from the park, but has an adorable downtown with some great restaurants. Acadia was also close about 40 minutes. The apartment itself was perfect. It was cutely decorated. Very clean, had new fixtures, and was just well cared for. The host was very easy to work with and provided helpful information about the area. Checking in was also super easy. I would highly recommend this spot! My only initial small complaint was the bedroom got a little warm at night. However, when you opened the closet there was a fan right there and it fixed the problem immediately. So very thankful the host had thought of that!
