This house is post and beam architecture, lending a cozy and charming vibe. Our goal has been to honor the original character while modernizing and lightening the space. Clean, neat and non-cluttered is the aesthetic.

This newly renovated three bedroom gem on the pond is perfect for families. The house has been lovingly restored and modernized. Guests will enjoy a brand new kitchen with all new appliances, cabinets, countertops and flooring. The original floors have been white washed, giving the space a bright and light appeal. A large cupola allows for ample natural light and the windows look out onto a large yard that slopes to the Miacomet pond.

This charmer offers the best of both worlds, being both private and serene on the pond while also centrally located. Your morning may start with coffee on the large deck or in the sunroom overlooking the pond, enjoying the sights and sounds of the local birds. Swan, Blue Herron and Red Winged Black Birds among others delight in this serene setting. Adventurous types might enjoy a paddle on the pond or exploring in the kayak. Proximal to conservation land you can appreciate the natural unspoiled beauty of the island. Take a left from the driveway and you can access walking, biking and equestrian trails. Taking a right from the driveway you can quickly arrive at Miacomet beach, Surfside beach, Cisco or Ladies beach to name a few. Head down a few blocks to local coffee and lunch shops. From here you can go to town (5 minute drive) or access more paved bike trails. Cisco Brewery, Island Kitchen, 167 Fish Market and Bartlett's farm are local favorites and also very convenient to this location.

The evening offers a different view of the pond and makes a beautiful backdrop for a family dinner on the deck.

The primary bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bathroom. This bathroom as well as the second floor guest bathroom were completely renovated in the spring of 2022. The half bath downstairs was also renovated with an additional window added to increase the sunlight and views of the pond. Additionally, the upstairs laundry room has been updated.

Be one of the first guests to enjoy this renovated home in a tranquil setting. You will be coming back year after year.

Great House and Outdoor Space

We had a wonderful stay with our family of four (2 young kids). The house is comfortable with a convenient layout and plenty of space. The large deck and backyard was perfect in the mornings and evenings while at the house. We had a great week and would stay again.

The Pond

Such an enjoyable property. Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful view of the pond. Swans, ducks, turtles and deers every day. Easy ride to town and the beach. Would love to stay here again.

Wonderful home

We had a fabulous week. The home is in the perfect location, within a short biking distance to town, beaches, and other areas. The layout of the house worked great for our family of 4 and was extremely clean, new and comfortable. The backyard was amazing -- so many birds and so peaceful. Highly recommend!

So much charm

We loved our stay at this Nantucket home! The beaming is spectacular, beds and linens are cozy and clean. Wasn’t sure how to access the pond for kayaking, but it was lovely to look at. House has just been updated and there are still a few ongoing construction projects (the master bath in particular), but it doesn’t effect ability to use and enjoy. We loved our stay!

Thanks Laura. I hope you come back. It is definitely been a work in progress but we are very proud of what we accomplished in a short period of time. We aim to create a home that families want to come back to year after year and feel comfortable in as if it’s their own.It’s only going to get better!!!!

September in Nantucket is Great!

This is a newly renovated property that maybe is not quite done yet--no exhaust fans in the kitchen or main bathroom, for example. It is also near the center of the island, and therefore not really walking distance from anywhere you may want to go. However, for us, it was a perfect, quiet spot to celebrate our anniversary. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the large deck with our morning coffee and tea. Even though the weather was on the cool side, the sun kept us cozy, which is one of the reasons that September is the perfect month to visit Nantucket. The house was nicely furnished and comfortable. We didn't need the extra bedrooms, of course, but were happy to have lots of space to spread out. The yard was beautifully landscaped and maintained, and the pond had ducks! For us, the central location was a real advantage, because we wanted to visit a different beach community each day--all of which were a short drive away. We also drove into town almost every day and had some delicious meals. In-town parking was not a problem for us, although it seems like it would be during the summer. Overall, the house was exactly what we were looking for, and we would happily stay there again for our next Nantucket visit.

This lovely house was brand new - thoughtfully decorated, cozy, comfortable and clean! The owner Chris was prompt to reply always and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I definitely recommend this great house!

Great spot, nicely renovated, fantastic host

Stayed with my family including two kids 10 and 5. The location was perfect, beautiful view of the small pond and wetland behind the house. Very peaceful and relaxing. Town is a short Uber or manageable bike ride away. Same for the beach. The renovations to the property are a fantastic update to the beautiful post and beam construction. Kitchen was well equipped and house was very clean at check in with some thoughtful touches. Most importantly, we found both the owner and property manager to be very friendly and responsive. I would recommend this place to any family or even two or three couples looking to really relax and disconnect.

Peaceful neighborhood, great back yard!

Check in was flawless and owners were so accommodating and willing to help! They were available for questions throughout and very kind. Our kids loved the bunk bed room and the master BR was beautiful. Kitchen well appointed and spacious. The back yard and back porch were my favorite part- lots of outdoor seating and a beautiful back yard great for throwing a ball or playing tag. The top of Miacomet Pond is along the back of the property and we were able to use kayaks shared with the renters next door. Very spacious parking area/driveway. Short bike ride to Surfside beach and some eating options like 45 Surfside and Yummy. Overall a great visit! Would definitely rent there again.

Great Place!

We stayed at Chris’s house for two weeks. The house is completely renovated and seems like a new build on the inside. They’ve supplied everything you will need and are really responsive to communications. The neighborhood is a great combination of private and convenient. The backyard is large and well-manicured while overlooking a picturesque pond. I hope to stay there again.
